Superb! Wish we lived closer. Lovely decor and welcoming atmosphere. We had two savory pancakes and one sweet, with an iced matcha and flavoured milk. Would definatley recommend this place for a relaxing brunch/lunch.

Excellent all round, the owner is kind and considerate, made us off menu crepes to cope with my son's food choices! And the food was delicious, the drinks were fab, it was a beautiful place to sit. We really enjoyed our lunch

My 1st visit to this restaurant. Absolutely loved it , great service , great staff , and definitely great food . Very impressed with the decor and atmosphere. The menu is well laid out and simple to understand. The staff were helpful and friendly. The mango and white chocolate crepe was amazing, and I also had a strawberry smoothy. 🍓 Will definitely be going back sometime soon.

We're staying near to the Creperie and wanted a simple light breakfast. Much to our surprise, we found a delightful location, with sumptuously tasting food, lovely coffee flavours, friendly staff and romantic decor. We weren't expecting to find something as nice as this but that's what we found! It also has unique menu items that I haven't seen in the UK for the longest time (Violette syrup flavoured coffee?) My wife had a pancake, full of emmental cheese and vegetables. I had a Nutella and Oreo crepe. We both thought the food was extremely flavoursome and we felt this was just a treat. I would say that it is on the pricier side as it is clearly a unique location but honestly, worth every penny. Every single penny.

We had great food, my husband selecting a crepe and I had the chief’s favourite. There was an amazing selection of coffee syrups. Lovely service!

This has been open since April and has passed me by completely until today and what a joy to find. It was open early at 8.45am when I walked by on a very cold day and had a coffee and a salted caramel crêpe which was delicious. Very nicely laid out inside and friendly staff. One to go back to.

The kids got a crepe each and my wife and I got a couple of lattes, and it was all very delicious. The kids in particular were very enthusiastic about their sweet crepes.

What a great place!!! We celebrated our anniversary a few days ago and we decided to check out the new place to eat in Whitley Bay. Greeted by smiling Nathalie herself with a friendly bonjour, we sat on the plush burgundy sofas and went through the menu. It was difficult to choose as there were so many appealing choices of “galettes” (savoury pancakes). We settled on a “delight” and a “figue”. Beautifully presented and both extremely delicious, as was the crepe that we shared for dessert! We really enjoyed our special lunch. Afterwards, we enjoyed talking with Nathalie and we hope that her tenure at the “crêperie” will be a successful one. We will return!!!

Coffee was lovely but the crepes were indescribably awful. Thick, stodgy lumps. What should have been a fine lacy snack was inedible. Sorry guys

Seen a mention on the Chronicles site for this place and was passing by so thought I'd pop in. Had one of the savoury galettes, goats cheese and honey, and was not disappointed. Staff were friendly and food was on point. It's a class little venue too. If you're in the area I'd definitely recommend popping in for a quick bite.

Exceeded my expectations. This place not only makes amazing sweet and savoury crepes, but also a 10 out of 10 coffee. The staff were super friendly, and the authentic french ambience of the places only added to the overall expierence. I will be going again, and again. I want to try the whole menu hahah. MERCI!

Lovely atmosphere, the staff go above and beyond for the customers and the food is absolutely delicious!!! Highly recommend for breakfast or lunch, they have a huge selection!!!

I cycled to the beach with my daughter and found this place coming back. I love crepes and had a gallette, which is the savoury kind. There were allot to choose from and mine was delicious. Good coffee, warm atmosphere and great food. A standout place adding a welcome continental vibe to a really vibrant and developing seaside town.

Food was 10/10. The young lad who served me was really pleasant and attentive. Amazing customer service from him. However my 1 star is for what I believed to be the manager shouting at the young lad in the kiosk window in front of other customers which I believe is extremely unprofessional and seemed rather uncalled for. This ruined my trip and I sadly won’t be returning. I hope the young lad is okay!

First time visiting. Great selection of crepes and galettes which were all reasonably priced. Definitely recommend the L’anglaise galette - bacon, onions, mushrooms, cheese. Generous portion, nicely presented. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and great food 😊
