Some of the best vegan fish and chips I have ever had. Could see it on the menu but had seen online, but was still available and very good.

Haven’t had fish and chips in years, glad I chose this place! Cod bites were massive and chips weren’t too greasy. Best part was the curry sauce though!

The fish and chips are top notch they've made it to my top 3 and I've been thinking they may just take the top spot now.

We are regulars but we feel the fish portions have been shrinking and prices growing. Also I order a large cod and chips, my better half a small cod and chips. There was no perceivable difference in size of the fish portions or chips, just a bigger box

It's probably the best fish and chips I've ever had. Fresh, crispy, and not greasy. First time visiting, and I would definitely go back if I'm in the area again. FYI, it is best to book if you want to sit inside. It is very popular!

Lovely meal at a very good price. Had the seniors special... The full works, which included a very decent fish portion, just the right number of chips (I can never eat all my chips if it's a normal portion anyway), bread and butter, a pot of tea. Excellent value and lovely crunchy batter covering of pure white cod portion. Great atmosphere inside and out front where there is further seating area, including a section on the recently finished promenade itself on opposite side of the road. I visit Whitley Bay a couple of times each year so now I've found it, it's going to definitely be a place to eat for me. Parking in town is really difficult so I now park in the central car park and walk down to the prom or catch the bus, but its not a difficult walk. Enjoy your meal.

Excellent service . Used the app , drive to the shop and order just about ready to collect . Friendly service , quick and efficient and the fish and chips were excellent .

Ordered haddock and chips and mushy peas . Worst fish and chips ever the fish when I got home and opened it was the smallest fish iv ever had and thin with no taste. Cheap fish charging silly prices . The harbour view was closed so thought I try this one wish I never bothered rip off.

Most amazing fish and chips I've ever had. Curry sauce is amazing aswell. Was my sons Birthday and they gave him a birthday ice cream. Will 100% reccomend and we will return one day. Thankyou so much

We were up from Ipswich, and visited the restaurant. The food was lovely, the fish so fresh. Very busy which is a good sign. Would highly recommend a visit.

The restaurant is wonderful and the service is excellent.. I asked the employee about the best dish and she directed me to the (halal) dish. The fish is fresh and melts in the mouth. I highly recommend it, it is worth the crowds and it is worth the wait. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures before eating. God willing, I will definitely return to the restaurant 🙏💕 One time I loved their interest. Look at the sticker on the cardboard.

Absolutely the best fish and chips ever! I had the small gluten free fish & chips, perfect, glad I didn’t order regular size, massive portions. Hubby had fish bits and chips, the fish bits were nearly as big as my small fish, all 6 of them! Next time we’re in this neck of the woods will call in again. (Staff are very very nice too)

Great Fish and Chips. We were going to eat at another place round the corner but saw it had bad reviews so stopped here instead. They have a lot of trophies and awards on display which were definitely deserved. The seven of us all had Fish and Chips (well, one had battered sausage) and we sat in the sun and ate over the road outside. Nice big portion of chips and good sized fish, even in the small size that the younger boys had.

Excellent beef burger. Onion rings tasted good. The staff showed politeness as we changed our mind that from waiting outside the bar to take away to sit in. I’d tasted the most delicious burger meat in this shop. Recommend.

Been wanting to visit for ages. Came today on a dreary July Tuesday and sat inside. Lovely atmosphere. Great staff, all welcoming and really friendly. The food was outstanding. Fish cooked to perfection and chips some of the best I've ever had. 😋 We will definitely come back!

Fabulous Fish n chip shop. Apparently we'll know to locals but we were there as visitors and were recommended to it. Does Vegan options which was Ideal for my partner. We both had Fish n Chips, one normal, one Vegan, they were both gorgeous !! Tasty, fresh and plentiful. We ate outside on the seating provided but you can eat indoors at a higher product price. Highly recommended!

Very disappointed… 25min wait, cod over cooked, shrivelled and dry, chips they weren’t chips just ends and crispy bits, kids meal, more like a toddler meal, 2 nuggets and more bits passed off as chips, wouldn’t recommend and most definitely not going back.

Everything about the lunch time experience was excellent. Service was polite, friendly and very quick. Food was excellent as usual.

Have purchased from here frequently as I find the quality of the food is really good and the staff are so friendly and efficient . My family and I have tried other places but haven’t found anywhere that measures up to fisherman’s bay ‘s reputation .

Tasty fish and chips quailty is always the same and decent portions. The tarter sauce aswell is jome made so elevates the meal more. Had fish and chips with my friend here and can't believe how inclusive a fish and chips shop could be. - Well done. Food hygiene is so good here everything is separate, considered and inclusive. They have VEGAN fish and chips They have HALAL fish and chips And I'm sure they had gluten free but I didn't order this. This place is a really good option if anyone has dietary requirments or if your not sure that they may do. Shy Ben's get nowt so please make sure you ask for your dietary requirements. Thank you ❤️

Really nice fish and chips. The order was placed at 4:13. However, it was not available to collect till 4:35. It was not busy. However, staff continually chatted on. I'm not saying they can't do both but happened to pause all the time. Then, when receiving the order, they spoke to the next customer. Staff are very young. Hopefully, this was an off day. The restaurant looked clean and a good amount of space. It is done out. Really nice 👌 prices are very fair.

We were looking for a fish and chip restaurant and being in Newcastle we looked at the coast facing the North Sea. Well this remainder is fabulous and the welcome is impeccable. There is the smell of frying but what else can you do when the cooking is done before your eyes. Go there and you will judge for yourself.
