Amazing Cuisine & Superb Service! In Newcastle, LEZZET is a real treasure. The mix grill was full of taste and diversity, and the grilled meats were expertly cooked. The dish was brimming with true Turkish flavors. But it was the service that was truly remarkable. The manager, Sherif, was outstanding. He took care of every detail and made us feel extremely comfortable. He was kind, considerate, and very passionate. That degree of care is uncommon. We will very certainly return!

I ordered from Just Eat last night and unfortunately the order didn't arrive. I rang the restaurant and spoke to the manager. He contacted Just Eat himself and was informed the order had been left outside but it hadn't been. So he organised my order to be sent by a member of staff. I'm very impressed with the way this was dealt with. And the food made in this restaurant is outstanding. Highly recommended to book a table or order a takeaway. Just avoid Just Eat and use an alternative delivery company. And thank you to the staff who sorted this issue for me. Much appreciated.

Travelled down from Scotland as a day trip and looked for the closest halal restaurant and found this place …. Did not disappoint possibly in my top 3 Turkish restaurants … food was on point and lived up to my expectations … very fussy when it comes to Turkish food as I like it to be authentic … Lamb ribs 10/10 and the Adana kebab well just lush… thank you !!!

We visited this restaurant again today. We ordered the Turkish Lemon Meatballs, Patlican Esmeralda, Cream Chicken and Chicken Wings ! This is already the third time I’ve had the chicken wings because they are just so delicious, full of flavor and not greasy. The sauce for the Cream Chicken is really tasty, though the chicken itself was a bit on the dry side. The Patlican was also quite good ! The staff were grand polite, This is definitely a restaurant worth trying.

Portions have decreased massively in the mixed grill and meat quality just is not the same as it once was. Moussaka had zero meat in it. Used to come with bread. Now apparently does not.

We went to this place for dinner with my husband and two sons. My eldest son had fish, my younger son had creamy chicken, my husband had Iskender kebab, and I had Adana kebab. It was really delicious. The waiters were attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was nice. The tables were decorated with real roses, which shows how much the place cares about its customers. After dinner, we were served Turkish tea by the boss. It was a really nice dinner. Thank you Lezzet Turkish Restaurant.

Went for a birthday meal. Have wanted to visit for years but never got round to it. Had the mixed meat platter for 2 - didn't disappoint. Lots of very tasty meats, some rice, salad and breads also. Baclava Triangle for desert - absolutely delicious. Restaurant was very busy with large parties, its definitely not a quiet restaurant, but the food is amazing.

Just price is toooo high or portions is too small.

Went to Lezzet with my husband a day after Valentine’s so it was PACKED. Had to wait a couple of minutes to be shown our table that’s why it gets 4 stars for service. The food was quick to come and tasted really good. Starter was the king prawns. Really nice. I went for the lamb ribs, loved it. Husband had the steak. He requested for well done meat but it came medium rare. My other half doesn’t like to complain so he ate it like that (he didn’t mind, else I would have spoken up). Portions were really good too. Thoroughly enjoyed my drink, my husband ordered for me because I am terrible but the drink was REALLY GOOD. Decor is quite cute and there was a standing mirror I used to take pictures. Would have to come back on a casual day. Solid 8.5/10.

We traveled from Carlisle to eat at Lezzet Newcastle, and it was amazing as always! Mr. İzzet and Ms. Tilbe took great care of us and made us feel very welcome. We were a bit sad that Sherif wasn’t there 🤪 but everything else was perfect! Lezzet is not just a restaurant it’s a great experience. The food is always delicious and fresh. The place is clean and beautiful, and the service is friendly and professional. Also, accessible for wheelchair users. I have been coming here since it opened, and it is still the best Turkish restaurant. No other place can match it! I will definitely come back again and again 🫶🏻

Very good service and very good food. Would highly recommend lezzet Turkish restaurant. Inside and outside of the restaurant is beautiful. I have been for the evening menu and the lunch time menu. The lunch time menu is such good value for money. I had 2 courses for £16.50. I had the humus to start which came with the most delicious warm Turkish bread. For mains I had lamb ribs which came with salad, Turkish rice and home made chilli sauce. I was greeted by the lovely owner himself, he was very friendly and the serving staff were so friendly and helpful. 10/10 dining experience will definitely come back!

Yesterday, we had a meal at Lezzet. The food was delicious. Additionally, Mr. Izzet took the time to personally attend to each customer, including us. The staff (Tilbe) provided excellent service. It’s a place I can definitely recommend—the best Turkish restaurant in the North.

Attended for lunch on a Saturday, it was very quiet and service was a little slow but we were in no rush Staff were super helpful and friendly, they also made an effort to bring birthday cake and sing for our 70th celebration event though we hadn't asked. Food is delicious and a huge selection on offer. Beautiful meals were enjoyed and we also had hot drinks after, nice selection of hot drinks, recommend the apple tea!

First time coming here, went for the lunchtime special 2 course meal at £16. The service was polite and friendly, the food was fresh and very tasty with hearty portions. Will definitely go back, loved it.

Amazing food, even better service

I have been in this restaurant sometimes and I had a very positive memory. Tonight for the new year we have been there and I was totally disappointed, the atmosphere was cold, the food was tasteless and the worse is the vegetable was rotten. I never try this restaurant again. It ruined my appetite in the new year.

Absolutely gorgeous food. We ordered the mixed platter for 2, we got 4 ribs, 4 chicken wings, 4 pieces of chicken, 4 pieces of lamb and 2 large lamb koftas/sausages. Every single bite was full of flavour, everything was seasoned beautifully *loosens belt after having too much food*.

I had driven past this restaurant a thousand times and never actually ended up here. It was worth it. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food was incredibly fresh and great. Lost a point for the menu not being more clear about the lunch deal and us thinking we could do a main and desert instead of a starter and main. It's a beautiful restaurant and was spacious and very well maintained. Highly recommend.

Above average food quality but felt a little overpriced. We visited on a Saturday night and it was fairly busy. Expect frequent bursts of music and clapping as the staff help diners celebrate birthdays etc.

Another fantastic meal at this lovely restaurant. I ate alone on this occasion at lunchtime but the staff all made me feel very welcome. It was relatively quiet but still a nice atmosphere with authentic Turkish music in the background which was nice. I had the creamy chicken which was delicious, the sauce was out of this world! I can’t wait to return and try out some other dishes on the menu 😊

The food was great, even though by the time a delivery driver got it to us it was cold. Lezzet who i spoke with had it ready but no driver was available. 6.10pm order put in and 8,05pm it arrived cold.

We were in Newcastle for a few hours and were looking for a good place to eat had a few options but this place stood out more. Exceeded our expectations from the vibe from outside, insite parking, the decor, staff were very friendly and very hospitable to us and our children the owner even greeted us which was lovely. Food was fantastic cannot fault it we went for adana kebabs, mixed grill, mocktails, chicken strips and meatballs for kids. To be extra greedy went for the kunafe dessert absolutely insane. Can't wait to go back :)

Lovely looking restaurant with a car park. Courteous and attentive waiters and waitresses. I ordered the lamb hummus which was delicious and my partner ordered Moussaka which was the winner, I ordered a lamb rice dish which did come out cold but they soon heated it for me. My choice was the wrong choice. I would happily return to the restaurant and would recommend just not my lamb (Tiftik Tander). We visited on a Sunday at 5pm the restaurant was quiet would like to revisit when busier for a better atmosphere.
