Crêpeaffaire Spitalfields in Tower Hamlets

I was honestly shocked at my experience here. Nothing we purchased was made fresh. The guy simply popped open a Tupperware box (after 5 mins after we ordered… there was nobody else there) and put them in a toastie maker. For £6?! He lacked any customer service skills at all. He hadn’t charged any of the card machines and seemed annoyed at customers when this was pointed out to him. We felt like inconveniences as customers - it was that poor. Some other customers left before even ordering due to that experience. Further to that I asked him to remove the almond from my order, he said yes ok, then proceeded to carry on using the pre made one. They tasted amazing but come on guys?!

Este es un lugar horrible para disfrutar de un café y una crepe. Se equivocaron en mi orden a pesar de que repetí dos veces y luego la señora fue muy grosera con nosotros. Quizás ella sea racista ya que los otros clientes no fueron tratados de la misma manera. Ella nos ofreció algunos croissants duros como una piedra (que estuvieron en exhibición todo el día y posiblemente tosieron todos los clientes que pasaron). También se los ofrecieron a un vagabundo antes, así que no estaba seguro de si ese era un gesto agradable para compensar su terrible comportamiento u ofensivo, ya que no necesitamos caridad ni nos parecemos al vagabundo. Salimos lo más rápido posible ya que nos hizo sentir increíblemente incómodos y muy tristes. Solo espero que esta mujer sea tratada como trata a los demás, ya que es increíblemente mala y desconsiderada. Ella se merece probar su propia medicina. Tengo que decir que la hospitalidad británica y el servicio al cliente se han ido por el desagüe desde que se levantó el bloqueo. Es una pena, ya que el gobierno nos pide que salgamos a comer para ayudar y esta es la horrible experiencia que soportamos.

Mi madre y yo estábamos pasando por Spitalfields en busca de un destructor del hambre cuando mi madre vio Crepeaffaire. Tanto un excelente servicio (y muy atento con el servicio de seguimiento y localización del NHS) como excelentes crepes. The choice of flavor is huge, sweet or savoury everyone is happy! The milkshakes are also very tasty. Only negative aspect is the service, not very nice and you have to order from the cashier (and usually wait some time). Still, if you are not in a hurry, it is a very good spot for a brunch in Spitalfields.

The crepes were good but the people behind the counter showed a total lack of customer skills. We requested to get our crepes in a cone and they were put in a box which was completely impractical if we wanted to continue sightseeing while eating them. When we kindly asked if they could be changed into a cone, they said angrily that they were too busy.

Crepes not cooked and terrible service. What a shame . Massively disappointed. You can get very good crepes with a much better service on Brick Lane Market .

APPALING CUSTOMER SERVICE. Honestly what is the hiring process at crepeaffaires because it desperately needs to be remodelled. I’ve been reading reviews and unfortunately I’m not the only one that’s encountered rude behaviour. Do these mannerless people really represent your company? I would consider training or firing because they’re not doing your company or your customers any favours. Lack of basic manners and just pure rude, aggressive behaviour. Especially the two staff members working on 6/1/20 at noon.

Tucked away in the corner of Spitalfields Market there are seats outside with a view of the market and we had a pleasant 45 mins watching stallholders set up. I had a black americano which was good and my wife the homemade lemonade which she enjoyed - not too sweet and not too sharp. Nothing to eat but looked decent food and staff were friendly

We waited 40 minutes for 2 crepes! Restaurant was only half full. We asked twice where our food was and were told each time it was being prepared. When I went in to ask a third time, I finally saw them to starting to make it. No apology from staff when it finally came out.

When you’re an adult, you can go straight to dessert. And that’s what I did at this spot. I enjoyed the Bananalicious Crepe for my lunch. It was just wonderful. Freshly made and served up fairly quickly. It’s a busy spot and not being from the UK, I was surprised to see a price for eating in and a different price for take away. We ate in and enjoyed it. Lovely menu and they could even accommodate my friend who was gluten free.

Was not my first time at Spitalfields and again fantastic stop. Team is amazing there,very friendly. Working fast so good because we were very hungry 😋. I will be back for sure! Thank you.
