Tasty food, good coffee, good people

The food is very delicious, and every product used is of high quality, the staff is friendly and warm-blooded people, also the place is very clean, I have no doubt that I will prefer the most beautiful cafe in the region again 😀

Stopped here with my sister for breakfast - great cafe and lovely atmosphere. Really clean. Delicious food. Will definitely come back.

I used this cafe a year ago and I was blown away but today on my visit I was not as impressed as I was on my first visit, the owner seems to be using Aldi products, table sources teabags mainly all items are from Aldi. The price has gone up quite substantially and the quality has gone down, I do understand that the price of food has gone through the roof, I have been to many different cafes in my area and at least they are using quality products I know the costs have gone up for them have I understand but they are still using quality products as for Crayside are using Aldi products. Don’t actually believe this is good value for money but they are the most friendly people you ever meet and clean and tidy I would rather pay more for quality products than pay £10 for a rubbish breakfast

Me and my husband and we eat every Saturday or Sunday , with a very polite and nice staff... we love this Cray side cafe. Thank you very well for your food and taste.

This is by far the best cafe in Crayford. . I tried a few Others and this one is the best. The food is always hot, the portions are large. The prices are reasonable And the filter coffee is always made perfectly the way I like it. ( black coffee with a small amount of cold milk!) The owner is always kind & friendly and I highly recommend this cafe. Definitely a 5 star from me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Use this café now and again , all good , decent portions and polite staff, mountain of chips and nice fresh salad in burger , coffee fine and a apple juice £12

We called in after finishing our ramble in the local area. The staff were all friendly and the tables were kept clear and clean. Being a Sunday there were lots of people having cooked breakfasts which all looked very appetising.

Many greasy spoons in Crayford, I have tried them all. Nothing to moan about here. Decent food and service.

The reason for 3 stars Prices have massively gone up in this cafe Have had better for less elsewhere

kEEP AWAY! Sausage was undercooked but didn’t realise until i had eaten half of it and i cut it in half lengthways to find it was still pink in the middle. They refunded me £2 i left and within 10 mins bought the whole lot back up. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Used this cafe for years, but today was the last time I will EVER use it again. Several price hikes have made their meals too expensive. I had scrambled eggs on 1 toast and 3 strips of bacon and a coffee. It came to a staggering £9.50. I will not be ripped off again. I challenged the charges but was dismissed. Well, guess what, I am voting with my feet and will NEVER set foot back into this cafe. Would not recommend any more as prices are ripping people off

Located on the Westside of the River Cray, this is a satisfactory café with a varied basic menu, with outside seating.

Had a lovely breakfast here, a nice warm welcome and speedy service.

Ordered fish & chips and got a frozen fish and frozen chips thrown into the fryer right before my very eyes! Fish and chips is a national dish and I could have bought that food in a supermarket and eaten better at home! I mean, even if it's just the chips, how difficult is it to buy some potatoes, peel them and bang them in a fryer? It's just lazy cooking!

The food was immaculate and the worker was a really nice guy! Highly recommend!!

Was going to work a bit later as I had to pick something up in Crawford, as I came into Crawford, I came to the width restriction by Green Walk? I think. Anyway there are more than enough cafés in Crayford, but there were plenty of parking spaces outside so I thought I'd give it a try. 2 fellas working, probably more people work there, dunno. Anyway that was one of the best café breakfasts I've had in a long time, and I told them so, emptied my pocket of loose change and put it in the bowl. From memory, 2 eggs, mush, plum toms, plenty of bacon, fried slice?, 2 toast, cuppa, couple of hash browns maybe more I can't remember, but friendly, obviously have regulars, polite and a nice breakfast to boot.

My first visit. Food was freshly prepared and cooked. Coffee was piping hot and delicious. The staff were very friendly and polite. The other clientele seemed to be regular customers. That's the best recommendation one needs!

We have often parked outside this cafe but this is te first time we have been in. We only wanted a snack/sandwich and drink, which was served up quickly and at good prices. They have a large menu (see photos) all items at reasonable prices. Very quick and polite service. We will return to try the hot food, what we saw looked good. There are tables and chairs outside on the pavement. Overall good.

Best food in the area. Have enjoyed the service here for 10+ years as a local. Even went as far as to give our lady friend a jacket to keep her warm whilst we ate out in the sun (was a bit of a breeze) Amazing and would recommend to everyone!

Ordered the large breakfast. It was large enough to keep me going for the rest of the day. Would have preferred fresh cooked tomatoes, but overall, was very happy. Fast and efficient.

I attended with my mother and 2 under 2, the staff where lovely and friendly. They where very helpful, kind and engaged with my 2 year old. The food was lovely and not greasy like other cafes. Highly recommended

This functional, traditional cafe is located slightly away from the busy traffic of the main road, and only a few minutes' walk from Crayford railway station. I found it to be a good place for a late lunch. The skin of the quarter chicken was evenly golden and had just the right amount of salt, and the flesh was succulent and well cooked. Although the cafe is near the River Cray, it cannot be seen when you are sitting inside, but the cafe is a clean and pleasant place to have a meal. Worth knowing about if you are in Crayford.

I often call in for breakfast nice staff and always cook the bacon as you ask as I like it crispy ! also if you order a full English breakfast and that is all you can eat as a lot of cafes only give a minimum amount and fill the plate with beans or chips but not in this café. Very good value.

The food at the cray side café is great with good portions. You can order breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff are always smiling and do not make you feel awkward if you are the only one

Website says closes 3pm on Sundays whereas in fact it's 2pm ... Never mind - we arrived a bit earlier than expected (soon after 1pm) so no probs. HUGE range of reasonably-priced food on offer - most types to suit most appetites. Settled for a baguette myself and my friends for chips with various accompaniments - all good, and EVERYONE loved the chips!! Staff friendly and obliging.

So you've been on holiday touring the Baltic States and had a good time. But one thing they can't do is a proper breakfast, You know what I mean, the bacon is all fat and crispy, sausages far too spicy for breakfast, So it's good to get back to the regular English breakfast. The Cray Side Cafe does excellent breakfasts. You get a wide range of standard combinations or you can pick and mix. The place is clean and bright and the service prompt, and good value. So here's the irony an excellent English breakfast place, run by Eastern (or Southeastern) Europeans, probably why the service is good :-)
