Great coffee lounge on the first floor and great staff - shame about the bitter, unpleasant coffee (I had an Americano).

Aww I love it hear with my friends. Food is unreal and even tho it's above the food store beside toy section it's so brill. Crawfords also has a big play area for children . You can relax with ease .

Friendly staff. Very clean. Not the nicest of settings, it’s like a school canteen kind of feel. But the food and coffee is good!

Stopped here while in Maghera, the mug of tea was beautiful and well served. Seating in this coffee lounge was comfortable. Toilets sadly were stinking. Would return again in future.

It was very quiet when we were here. The staff were not competent, making tea without giving us any milk or sugar or teaspoons. They did not listen or answer our questions so instead of ordering a full lunch we only had a tea and coffee and moved on. Plenty of space and it does not seam to be popular.

I'm in Ireland for a few weeks and have been doing the daily shop at Crawfords as the family I'm living with has an account with them. The upstairs coffee lounge is very basic, nothing special, but it is convenient. I've had several coffees here and most of them have been pretty ordinary, mostly boiled milk and quite flavourless. One morning I had French fried toast and bacon, it was acceptable, but again certainly not something I could recommend with confidence. I always look at the pies, cakes and variety of food on display, but have always decided not to partake as it doesn't look well presented, nor does it look appetising. The only reason I go back is because of the convenience, certainly not because of the good coffee or good food. It's not somewhere I'd choose to take a friend if there is another option.

Crawford's coffee lounge provides the family favourite snacks and pastries along with a wide selection of paninis and toasted sandwiches. Priced well, there are also daily hot food offerings which tend to sell quickly. The lounge is light and airy and service is quick and pleasant. Recommended for cheap eats and quick snacks.

Crawfords is an excellent shop but the coffee shop is not great. Slow service and not cheap. The staff are always friendly but it reeks of somewhere that was run by someone who doesn't know restaurants.

Not happy got a takeout for the kids the chips were cooked in dirty oil. The colour and taste was completely unacceptable for £6. I wish i had checked inside the containers before I left the building.

The Clarence has consistently sold the tastiest fish and chips in Ballyclare. I spoke with a delivery man for a local potato merchant, who claims to deliver the same type of spuds to all the nearby chip shops. Yet the difference in taste produced is incredible. However, The Clarence has always been first to increase the price of the menu and I remember saying I wouldn't buy a bag of chips if they went over £3.00 Then the owner priced his at £3.05.. Guess my response.. Now, you'd take the arm off a chip shop for a large chip for £3.00
