Had a bbq maple bacon burger and curly fries. Food was Michelin star level and the service from Georgia and Faith was something I would expect from a 5-star Monaco hotel. The establishment has a great taste in music and the western theme is really authentic. Will be returning with the husband 👍👍. This place is the thing of dreams (even on a Monday).

We came for bottomless burger brunch. The food was amazing, props to Chef Georgia. We always had multiple drinks on the table. 10/10 service. Will come back again!

If you want a stag do that’ll go down in history (or at least make for some wild stories), Coyote Ugly is your holy grail! We strutted in like we owned the place, only to be greeted by bartenders dancing on the bar —while we just tried to find our footing. The cocktails? Let’s just say they had more kick than our best man after a few too many! We downed some shots, and suddenly we were convinced we could all dance like Channing Tatum (spoiler: we couldn’t). If you want a night filled with laughter, questionable dance moves, and memories that may or may not come back to haunt you, Coyote Ugly is the place to be. Just remember, what happens at Coyote Ugly… probably ends up on social media! Some of us are still trying to find our dignity

Bloody bargain. Food nice enough. Procecco lovely.. cider and a vape. We enjoyed it. Kirsty was ace. Asked for orange to make a mimosa. No problem. We was really only here for the food but several procecco later.. ace.

Absolute shambles of a bar. No one wants to serve you, stood at the bar for 30 mins before being served. Good luck!

I booked a dance class and bottomless brunch and was a little apprehensive, but this experience was way more than I ever could have imagined. Fortunately for us, it was just us at the dance class, and Faith was super! For three old, overweight girls she made this event so much fun. The venue was inclusive, the staff were brilliant, and they work HARD! The drag was really fun! I could not recommend this highly enough; Faith really made us feel like VIPs. The toilets were hotter than hell though, and the brunch only consisted of a small pizza.

Great atmosphere, very lively place. We went there twice in the same evening as it seems to have a great crowd. Certainly would recommend for large groups.

I went to Cardiff last night and popped into the bar lovely place friendly bar staff Butttttttt The girl on the bar dancing well what can I say Speaks on the mic saying these words What you lot doing in here on a Thursday night you must be alcoholics …. I myself and my husband was disgusted by this as we both have a Thursday off and enjoy spending it together this dancer may have said it as a joke but I find this shocking tbh As I stated to her if it wasn’t for customers there how would her wages get paid We left along with a good few others because of this comment and sadly I will not return there either I think staff need to be taught not to make comments like she did

Went in the late evening for the club, was a great experience. It’s like an old school nightclub, which was brilliant. You have the option of dancing on the bar if you’re brave enough, and you get a free shot! Lots of bars dotted about inside so you’re not queuing for ages for drinks. Most of the drinks are bottled (think Smirnoff, VK, Corona etc). Music was great and the staff dancing on the bar kept singing and getting the crowd going. Was a really great atmosphere and everyone was just having a great night dancing and enjoying the music.

Sharlott was great, her bartending skills are very good.

Really bad experience, will not be coming back. Me and my friend had bottomless brunch booked for a celebration before heading to our concert. The bartender asked to see our ID's, and then showed them to her manager who then refused to serve us as they did not believe our ID's were real. The manager claimed that our ID's looked different to theirs, even though they were valid and we had no issues using them anywhere else. Due to this, we weren't able to do our bottomless brunch we had already paid for, and had to sort out other arrangements. I am very disappointed, as we were really looking forward to this for a while.

Amazing and I very best night club in Cardiff

First and last time visiting. Not only did we have to queue for ages, the 'bouncers' out the front were extremely rude and totally unprofessional. We then had to pay £5.00 each to enter, the place was grubby, service horrendously slow, atmosphere non existent and very poor drink range. Would not recommend at all.

Good atmosphere but the bar by the door essentially had two types of drink, and the queue in the main bar was long because the staff were so slow

Would give a 0 if I could! First we arrived to be told we can't go in as there was a fight so we understood and waited to then find them letting groups of girls in. I asked why they were letting the other people in and not us and I was told to back off! I had pre paid and booked 2 tables for my daughters 18th birthday. We eventually go in and find we only had one table and not all our drinks were there so naturally I questioned this to be told I hadn't booked a 2nd load of drinks. I showed my booking confirmations and then girl eventually brought the 2nd load of drinks. I complained to the manager and gave constructive criticism and she gave us a tray of sour shots as an apology. We bought another 2 bottles of prosecco on the table and some of us ladies went down to queue to dance on the bar whilst we were waiting security kicked our family and friends off the table and said they were closing the area. I booked the table for 10pm - 1am and was appalled that they would kick us off an hr before our time was up. I once again complained and had to argue my way to them giving us an alternative table downstairs, we were given 1 even though I booked 2 and we wouldn't all fit on one. I asked for a tray of sours to make up for it and well they had the cheek to bring shots that had been watered down, it was pretty obvious, I took the tray back and spent the next 45 minutes wasting my time with them denying it and eventually giving us a tray that hadn't been watered down! We had all looked forward to this evening for my daughters 18 and I am absolutely shocked by how poorly you treat people that have pre paid for a service disgusting treatment by the door staff and some of the water staff!! Never again and I will discourage anyone to attend your filthy dump! Your letting the Cayote ugly name down massively!!!!!

Had a table for drinks on a stag do, Georgia, was absolutely amazing !! She looked after us perfectly and was an absolute delight!

Lunch time bottomless brunch.Great time, made all the better by GEORGIE who was always there with the drinks, very chatty and happy. Drag act was really good got everybody up and involved. Dancing on the bar ( not me) .Drinks are a bit limited if you dont like cocktails, beer, cider or procecco. Pizza 3 choices margaritta, hawian or pepperoni, they were ok. But good time had.

Went for a friends birthday paid to go in as we all wanted to dance. And the poxy boxing was put on. If I wanted to watch boxing I’d have stayed at home. The girl at the desks attitude was come back later. No thanks. Very disappointed.

Went for my son in laws 40th birthday, bottomless brunch, choice of pizza is margarita, hawian, or pepperoni, they were ok, but that's the only choice of food. The drinks are quiet limited as well you can upgrade to cocktails but if you don't drink presecco, beer or cider that your only choice...BUT the service was FANTASTIC big shout out for GEORGIE, really lovely girl made sure the drinks kept flowing, a really asset to the place. Had so much fun. The drag act was hilarious, and worked so hard. Definatly recomend

A group of me and my friends visited Coyote last night, celebrating my friend’s birthday. We were in the upstairs area and we were served by a young lady called Faith and she was absolutely incredible. She had a great vibe and was so accommodating to me and my group, 10/10 service

My brother with learning difficulties came to this club, he has speech problems (can’t speak or pronounce words tidily) security threw him out of the club, after one drink. My brother then went to speak to the security after, and the security then said if he doesn’t leave right now he’s going to “smash his face in, and kill him” and this is the problems society has to stand this day and age. I’ve tried to contact the manger to get in contact and raise a formal complaint but they won’t accept the phone call. Avoid at all cost. If there was a bigger person than the security guard he wouldn’t have acted this way, my brothers 5”5 9 stone, if nothing gets done by this review I promise the police will be in contact for misconduct and if that doesn’t solve the issue, I will be going down myself to speak to this security guard, which guaranteed will do absolutely nothing when faced with a real issue/problem. These people have got to be taking of our street before something seriously bad happens.

A big group of us went to drag brunch yesterday. The drinks and food were flowing. The drag performance was great with loads to sing along and dance to. Special shout out to Georgia who not only sorted a better table for us, sorted all our drinks and food quickly but was very kind and helpful when one of our friends became unwell. Thank you!

Come in with my partner around 8ish loved it but got told too come back after 9.30,10 where its busy we came bk after 12 and the bouncers well I say no more saying u had a private function witch I know u didn't as we was in before they started,it felt like if ya face didn't fit u don't get in and I was really looking forward 2 it Haswell gutted but 1st time when we got in the girls where amazing, think u need 2 look ya bouncers as bad rep them

Unacceptable and rude bouncers. When approaching another bouncer on the door (to ask who would I contact to complain) , I was immediately given stinking stares and rude attitudes. Your door staff are giving you an awful reputation.

i was in the bar last saturday for my friends birthday, it was our first time in cardiff so we didn’t know what to expect. we were very excited to visit as we had heard great things and had an incredible night apart from one experience i had at the bar. i waited 30 mins in the line with my friend for a drink and as i got up to the bar i asked politely for my drink of choice and the young girl looked at me and said no. me confused asked why and if there was possibly none of that specific drink left so i tried ordering something different. she said no again, i was very confused and she stared at me and in a very patronising tone said just the word water whilst making the letter W with her hands. i understand if they refuse service from people extremely drunk however i wasn’t anywhere near that level and it left me feeling very bad, confused and uncomfortable. i just think it was extremely unprofessional and should never have happened!!!

This bar has a fun gimmick and good service from eager staff which normally would be a fun night out, unfortunately I feel forced to write this review after a bad experience. I don't like to go out on town often but came here with some work friends for a celebration and had a good time. When we were leaving I heard one of the doormen make transphobic comments about my appearance to his friends and saw them smirking, which upset me for the rest of the night, I was too flustered to confront them, but they where 2 or 3 viking wannabe guys, though that describes most people doing that job. To be fair hink doormen are supplied by a 3rd party company so it's not like these guys will always be there, but saw on the internet that there'd been a pretty high profile incident here in the past, so maybe the bar doesn't vet the companies well? Though It's not like marginalised people I know are particularly trusting of them anyway. I do know LGBTQ friends who love this place so felt conflicted about writing this review, but I think I've got to help people keep safe.

It's absolutely AWFUL. DO NOT GO IN for the afternoon drinks n food deal we have been here 40 mins no service at all what a joke rubbish by all means go in at normal times whatever

I preordered a table with 2 bottles of Prosecco and 2 pitchers of cocktails. Upon arrival, we were shown to a dirty table upstairs that other people were occupying. The lady said she would get rid of the other people, but didn’t even clean it. We were then handed two pitchers of cocktails - which was half our order and told to ask for the 2 bottles of Prosecco when we were ready. 2/3 of the way through drinking the cocktails, I asked the bar staff if I could have my Prosecco. The lady behind the bar (different to the one who originally took us to the table) said she would speak to someone. Half an hour later, we still hadn’t had the Prosecco, so then I asked again and I was told that we had already received our order… which I corrected her on and explained we hadn’t had the Prosecco yet. She said she would speak to someone. Another half an hour went by, the girl came to talk to the bar lady, but totally ignored me when I tried speaking to her, she eventually turned to me, I explained we hadn’t had the Prosecco yet and she said that we hadn’t finished our cocktails. I said that we had finished the cocktails and she argued that it doesn’t look like we had, I said “well we have and we want the Prosecco that I’ve paid for”. She then said she was taking the remaining cocktails away because we couldn’t have the Prosecco unless we had finished. This didn’t make any sense as it isn’t a bottomless brunch, it was pre paid alcohol and if I had gone to the bar there an then, I would have got the Prosecco. She then snatched away any last remaining drinks that people were still finishing off (and had been paid for), and disappeared. People were quite frustrated by this time, as we had been waiting for a long time and the way she removed our drinks was inappropriate and rude. At this point, I asked for the manager. In total we had been waiting for the prosecco for over an hour at this point. The manager came and she said she would “sort it out”. When I returned from the bathroom approx 10 minutes later, I was met with being taken outside by two huge security guards, which is ridiculous as I am a 5 ft 3 girl, all while Hannah - whom we had terrible service from, was hysterically laughing. Whilst in the corridor, they told me to hand over my phone to them, when I questioned this, they said that it was because I had taken a photo of a member of staff in a public place and they were calling the police because it was illegal. This was laughable and completely made up, not to mention that it isn’t even illegal to take a photo in a public place like dozens of ppl have done previously. I refused to hand over my phone (because it’s my personal property, they are strangers and by this point, their erratic behaviour and lack of providing my paid for bottles of Prosecco was concerning). I was then ejected without explanation of why we didn’t receive our bottles of Prosecco for over an hour. The service was absolutely diabolical, the girl was really lazy, obnoxious and rude. None of us were intoxicated or behaving badly. We had prepaid in good faith that we would receive the goods, service and in a timely manner. All in all, I would recommend that you don’t step foot in the place and certainly don’t pre pay for drinks. If you do have to go there, make sure you don’t bump into the girl in the photo, she isn’t great at her job.

Went for a quick bite to eat before watching the rugby . Ordered a pizza it was edible after I had taken all the burt pepperoni off. I did complain but was left with a manager with very bad attitude. No communication skills what so ever. If I hadn't been in a rush I would have sent it back. But I was very disappointed with the attitude of the manager.

The bar is good however the doormen/security agency they employ is atrocious. Unprofessional and unacceptable. Excess force, have witnessed them taking customers to the floor for absolutely no reason, escorting customers out for absolutely no reason other than from what I can see jealousy of male customers talking to female customers... Absolutely appalling. A new security agency is needed.

Can't beat a night out in Coyote Ugly! Great bar with awesome music, especially the rock genre they play from time to time. Food is great as well! Phil is my favourite.

Came for bottomless brunch, our server was wonderful and super cheery, but clearly more staff were needed. We waited ages for our first round of drinks - so much so that we went to the bar to actually buy some which were made there and then in front of us, even though we had bottomless drinks for 90 mins. The pizzas were not good at all.

Well can only give a 1 star would give 0 if I could as I got refused entry due to being on my own. The bouncer Insisted all tho I thought he was joking, that no entry was aloud as I was just 1 person. Absolute disgrace I saw they showed live sports and wanted to watch it on TV but apparently this isn't allowed AS I WAS ON MY OWN? I would like a very good explanation as to the actions of why I was refused entry.

Not my cup of tea but could see the appeal to some poeple. I was terrified that they was going to kick my drink over me when I was getting served.

What a shambles, we arrived early an was seated, but then moved to two separate smaller booths which was not suitable,my friend then had to get the barrels to make extra seating for us, I went to the bar to get drinks considering there was only a few people there it took at least ten minutes to get served as most of the staff was talking an sorting paper work out among themselves, we were booked in for half two for bottomless brunch an then received my 1st drink at five to three, and the first cocktails didn't come till a bit later, all I can say they need to organise it better, there was one young lady who was serving a different table who was fabulous I only wish I took her name, the lady who was serving us had a attitude, will never go there again.

We wanted to visit Coyote Ugly in Cardiff. I've got very nice memories with film Coyote Ugly and wanted how it looked inside. Unfortunately after I came to security guys they were very unkind. I asked them if we could come in (3 girls 2 guys). I heard I couldn't come single. I pointed we are in group, and I asked why they are not let come in singles if they were empty. In this moment they started to be more unfriendly then before. They said I was rude but my only rudnes was this question ( I don't think it was really rude). They didn't let us come in because of my question. I don't understand that, but it question for there supervisors what attitude for customers they've got.

I visit Cardiff for a night out maybe once every couple of years when seeing family in Wales, have been to Coyote Ugly a few times now and I must say the energy and vibe here is always great, friendly security team and we always seem to get served pretty quickly. Love it!

Wow what a great night! Went here with a large group and the atmosphere was amazing. Molly and our servers, Jas and Georgia, were fantastic and really made sure we were looked after. The place was buzzing and the team was very inclusive bringing the party alive. We even got on the bar for the coyote routine. Definitely worth a visit and our party will return.

Spent Friday night here with a large group for a special birthday . The manager Molly was absolutely fabulous ensuring we all Had a good night . Our servers were Jas and Georgia - spot on with drinks and pizza flow . Music and atmosphere was spot on One of the best nights I’ve had . Even learnt a new complicated dance routine that we performed on the bar . Some may say they thought we were professional performers !!!!! 100% recommend for a great night out

Fantastic night was had by our 20 plus group on Friday 19th Jan for a 60th birthday celebration. Molly was amazing 👏 and server's Georia and Jas kept the drinks and food coming!! Plenty for everyone. Went here for the festival bottomless brunch had a fantastic time the drag artist was brilliant 2nd time we been here now. and our waitress I believe her name was Charlotte or Chantelle amazing she was so friendly can’t wait to come again thanks for a brilliant day

Went here in November and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, the atmosphere was electric, great prices and overall a good night out. However, returned back Sunday 17th December 2023 after our first experience and I was horrified. The woman at the bar was utterly rude threatening to ‘throw hands’ having a tantrum at her grown age, and was very rude. I never managed to get her name, but she was wearing ripped tights and a short skirt. We returned our empty glasses out of respect to the bar to save the employees a job but when we did we got looked up and down as if we were some terminal disease. In addition, the first time we visited my friend & I got harassed by an older man and nearly spiked but nobody seemed to notice around us. There was no bouncers or any ‘security’ at the door, it was a free for all.

Approached this place with my staff from work,(first club so we’re all still sober) the following conversation with the doorman happened *doorman*-how many mate? *me* 6 **doorman**men or woman *me* men *doorman* sorry mate we want woman in it’s like a c**k fest in there. Make of that what you will but given the marketing angle of the place it’s not surprising, make hay whilst the sun shines because places like this with staff like that have a short shelf life…first impressions last eh. Terrible

What an amazing venue and incredible staff. Openreach had their Christmas party here the weekend just gone and what can I say…..IT WAS AWESOME. Molly and her staff couldn’t have put on a better event for us, all the effort that went in to organise this was nothing short of incredible. Thank you so much for making it such a great evening!!

service was awful, took 90 minutes for 3 drinks to be served. our server was lovely however our male friend was not allowed on stage despite multiple women dancing very provocatively. discrimination if you ask me 👹
