Clearly wanted to shut early so left door open on freezing cold day to bring in tables/chairs from outside. Asked them to close it but refused to do so until they’d finished. Won’t be returning.

We visit cowpuccinos often. The settees are a bit worn out so seating not too comfortable, especially if you have back problems. The way its set out means its impossible to hold a private conversation as people sat right next to you. Logs rather than tables mean you end up with food on your lap which can be tricky. Opening hours are changable, if they get bored they close so hard to arrange to meet there. Food and drink at Cowpuccinos is always good and is worth putting up with the inconvenience for.

Always good service, bustling but relaxing atmosphere and good coffee and snacks. Decor is not traditional cafe, it’s much more funky with cut off logs for coffee table and big comfy sofas and chairs. I love it for morning coffee or lunch

Went there to get a coffee and sandwich.after 5 mins of standing at the counter being ignored by the staff I went to Tesco. How sad is that. They have lost a potential regular.

Went to Cowpuccinos for a morning coffee with my 3.5year old daughter. We were delighted to sit on a really comfortable sofa drinking superb coffee, fruit soda and absolutely delicious muffins whilst watching the world go by. The cafe has a really great atmosphere and the staff are wonderfully friendly. Either before or after coffee you can walk a few paces into the butcher and farm produce shop which also has a great reputation for real quality.

As we live in Melbourne, we were in search of a real cappuccino. The usual chains were awful and sanity was restored by this little gem. Great coffee, comfy sofas and yummy food. Farm shop local bottled produce and butcher inside with local beer, wine and cider too. Staff were great and locals love it.

In the world of burgers the Trust me burger is right up there, 2 patties from the butchers next door, peppers , onions , pulled pork , salad , lashings of cheese on a large sub roll. I enjoyed every mouth full, it was one of the best burgers I have ever had, a meal in itself. The service is very good too nice friendly staff, the menu is limited but what they do they do well. Good work Cowpuccinos I will be back.

I wanted to give 5 stars because this is the type of place that I am a fan of but can only give 3 at the moment. This is the second time I have visited and on both occasions the hot milk used to make the coffee has been over heated. It ruins the coffee. I was also surprised that the white bread used to make the bacon sandwiches was not of a better quality. Very doughy and seemed like ready sliced. Leather sofas could do with a clean also, food remnants etc visible in the joins etc.

You don’t really think of wroughton being a place to have anything particularly out of the ordinary but this little gem is just that. The owners are friendly, they pride themselves on being different, the coffee shop is as hoc seating, logs for tables, paintings on the walls, it’s comfort and a place without pretence. The coffee is great and the food sourced locally with the support of their butcher shop that is right next door is great. There’s not a lot of coffee shops you can get a great coffee and great food together, this although is one of the places. A must go if you have twenty minutes spare

As my father is local to Cowpuccinos we often wander down into the village and pit stop for a hot drink. The atmosphere is always so welcoming and the hot drinks and treats are delicious. We always look forward to our next visit.

This is a great little cafe oozing character from the furniture to the staff. Cowpuccinos is attached to the local butchers so the meat here is of a superb standard with a lovely texture which tempts the taste buds. Most of the cakes are made by the staff on site ( I think) and are really yummy. Given all this the value of the food is really good. The coffee is also made with care. The staff are really helpful regarding allergies and particular needs. I really recommend the Trust me Burger, The Lamb Burger and The three little pigs. Especially after an invigorating bike ride or long walk. We visit as a bit of a treat sometimes and because the cafe's location suits us.

Planning a weekend away, my wife found this place on Google. And what a find. Hidden away off the beaten track in a shopping precinct that I'm sure not even all the locals know about - not helped by the fact that the postcode tells your satnav to take you to a carpark that you can't see the shops from! Anyway we persisted and I'm glad we did. This charming little cafe is attached to, and run by, the local butcher. So for example the breed of cow that finds its way into the beef burgers is specified on the menu (Dexter since you ask). Really friendly service, great fresh food, freshly cooked and really very good coffee.Reasonable prices too so this place is well worth hunting down if you are in the area - it's about half way between Swindon and Avebury. I'll certainly be visiting again next time I'm in the area.

I've been visiting here fairly regularly for a couple of years now and it has never disappointed. It's attached to the local butchers, which probably explains the excellent quality and flavour of the meat on offer in their dishes. Cakes seem to be made in-house and taste great (good size portions too) and they have a decent range of drinks on offer. The staff are always friendly - this place is an absolute gem for the village. I only wish there were more seating (and more comfy seating) as it can get quite busy at times; then again, i'd never leave the place!

We stopped for lunch & had steak baguettes which were lovely. The meat is from the butchers who own the cafe & also farm their own beef. You know you are eating good quality meat. There is a wide choice of food available. The cafe isn't very large & there aren't proper tables just cut down tree trunks as tables. There are a couple of sofas & some upright chairs. You can walk into the butchers from the cafe. Don't visit when parents are collecting children from school as it is packed with mums! Menu is value for money.

We had a return visit to Cowpuccinos with the kids, for coffee, drinks and bacon butties. The staff were very helpful and accommodating of my daughter's dairy intolerance, and made her a hot chocolate with soya milk. The café is set in a small shopping parade, next to a butcher, and is a real find. Very welcoming and relaxing, and great bacon sandwiches! The only complaint is that it needs a toilet more accessible, as customers have to walk round the service yard and the back of the shop to get there at the moment. Otherwise, will definitely be back.

Wasn't aware this quirky cafe/butchers/deli existed until recently when I couldn't find anywhere open in Wroughton to grab some quick lunch on a Saturday afternoon. There is a vast sandwich and burger menu, I went for the 'trust me burger'......I wasn't disappointed, superb! Lots of food offerings on display in the cafe to takeaway such as chutneys, jams, wines, cheeses etc. Good value. I will be back, probably for another burger!

I bought the Fillet steak bun on the day it opened and have been back many times. If you see how much fillet steak goes in, one of the best the value for money you can get. They get the meat from their butchers (via their farm) and cook it. Melts in your mouth. Service is always excellent even when ram packed. Stews, cakes drinks are all excellent.

I've visited here on a number of occasions when I'm in the area and usually have the burger, bacon and a fried egg in a bun with a cup of tea for my lunch, brunch or breakfast depending on what time of day it is. It all gets cooked from fresh and, I have to say those burgers really are tasty. What else could you expect given that the cafe is run by the local butcher. It's a nice friendly, comfortable place to eat and drink and they will make a variety of different food to order.

We visit this cafe regularly, usually for a cake and cappuccino. It’s our favourite place to visit for refreshment. We are always very satisfied with the cake, coffee and service- the staff are lovely. This week we decided to try lunch there. We both had bruschetta - it was lovely. It looked good, with various coloured tomatoes and tasted as good as it looked. It was excellent. We would strongly recommend a visit to this little tea rooms.

Booked a table for 2, but changed this various times as the birthday celebrations grew. This was no problem for the landlord & landlady. Service was great and the food was delicious. 2 of us stayed the night. Rooms clean and super-king size bed comfortable. Very enjoyable experience and would definitely go back. Felt very welcome. 5 *****

In the heart of Swindon Old Town, Dotty's is a charming breakfast café. The best item on their menu is the "make it yourself" breakfast where you pick your items. Lovely atmosphere, with wooden tables - feels like an old fashioned café! Polite and smiley staff.
