This has to be the best restaurant in Taunton. Fancy something different? Thought of Portuguese skewers? This is the place to go. About a 10 minute walk from the railway station and 5 minutes from the town centre, the restaurant oozes atmosphere and authentic charm. The staff are friendly and accommodating and can recommend dishes with an excellent knowledge of the menu. The food is divine and freshly cooked to order. There are individual skewers with 2 side dishes as a main course along with sharing platters too for two people. Highly recommended for eating out in Taunton but be sure to pre-book as it gets busy. However, a busy restaurant is always a good sign! As locals, we love Skewer House! It was a delicious evening. Obrigado!

My favourite restaurant in Taunton. Visited (again) recently for a birthday. We were a group of seven and everyone said how much they enjoyed the food. The service is second to none. Highly recommendes.
