Courtside Cafe in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

What a beautiful little cafe. Fantastic staff and beautifully cooked meals at a great value! This cafe has really made my stay in Newquay worth while. They’ve clearly taken on board the government guidelines and have implemented these accordingly. I shall be revisiting as soon as I’m back in the area!

Amazing veggie pizza,good prices. The music playing in the background made a nice atmosphere. will definitely visit again.

Booked a table and came for lunch. The menu is somewhat restricted because of the Covid situation and consequent reduction in staff and trade but things seemed to be picking up on my visit. There are good markings here for social distancing and a one way system and mainly contactless payment at the till. Food is cooked to order - mainly pizzas, salads and filled rolls plus drinks at the moment. Hopefully the fuller menu can return at some time as this cannot be described as a cheap eats place at present. Staff are cheerful and friendly. I might try the Sunday roast special when that comes back in due course.

Poached eggs and mashed avocado on toast. Yum! And free parking this time of year. It’s great to sit and chill, watching other people playing tennis.

Visited for a light lunch and is a great place away from the crowds heading to the beach. There are tables inside and out. Good menu options for either light snacks or something a little bigger. We had toasted panini with salad, jacket potato with chicken tikka and some delicious garlic bread with cheese. All of the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was excellent and we were entertained by some pretty good tennis! Well worth a visit!

We wanted somewhere genuine and away from all the madness that can be Newquay, and stopped ant this place. It’s right by a car park so no time wasted walking. There’s a tennis centre next door, and you can watch people playing whilst you enjoy proper filtered coffee, homemade cakes or a cream tea. Other food items are available from chilli nachos, full roasts and fresh locally caught fish. You can eat in or out and the people there (it’s family run) are really friendly and helpful. Make sure it’s on your list if you’re in the area.

We stopped here for lunch on a Saturday as we were passing through the outskirts of Newquay & I’m so glad we did. The staff are very friendly & service was fab. We had panini’s which came with a lovely salad, even included fruit which I saved till the end so it was like a dessert. The chef was very accommodating as I fancied a filling different then advertised & he was more than happy to help. I will definitely go back, I’m thinking a Sunday roast and a cheeky cider next time ☺️

Omelette and salad with watermelon . Hot coffee with extra hot water, pannins all perfectly delicious as always thank you!

Courtside offers a relax atmosphere, whether you play tennis or not. Best smoothies in Town! The food is outstanding, catering for all of us. We have had a brilliant week, looking for to next year.

The cafe adopted new management last year and since has become one of my favourits in Newquay. Their menu accommodates many diets and they're happy to adapt if it doesn't. Delicious cakes, the best coffee in town and delicious lunch menus.

A regular stop. Lovely food and drinks. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is also a nice selection of vegan food on the menu. Will keep coming.

Friendly staff on ordering. Coffee served in pretty cups & saucers . The hummingbird cake was good as it looked .

Delightful find with scrummy cake, proper leaf tea, barrista coffee and so much more. They've created a relaxed atmosphere perfect for post tennis or hiding whilst the kids are at the nearby park. The menu looks and smells fabulous with something for every pocket. They've also got a proper food children's menu and gluten free/vegan/veggie choices across their menu. This is my new favourite Newquay haunt!!

As it says in the name, Courtside sits alongside the tennis courts in one of Newquays delightful parks. I visit once or twice a week. The food is fresh, tasty and well presented. The staff are friendly and efficient, the manager is highly motivated and ensures standards are high. She makes sure you have a good experience and will want to go back. I love the salads, best in Newquay, service is prompt but it can get busy, as word is getting out about the high standard there.. If you live in Newquay, like me, or just visiting, give Courtside a try, I guarantee you will be pleased.. Steve LF Newquay

Trenance park is an attractive area easily reached area by land train which tours Newquay hourly. The Courtside Cafe produces home made cakes, sandwiches and light lunches. There is indoor and outdoor seating.

A menudo parada para tomar café después de visitar el centro de tenis, pero esta vez tuvimos almuerzo al lado de la junta especial. Sal y pimienta calamar con col y ensalada, muy sabroso. Elección de las mesas por dentro y por fuera, ya que era bastante seco sábado fuera. Siempre una muestra de pasteles caseros para la venta a precios razonables.

The Courtside is a small clean café overlooking the Tennis courts at Trenance. We booked a table and found the food to be well presented and the amount they give you a little on the large side. The menu does not offer you a huge choice but we left feeling satisfied.
