Country kitchen cafe in Barnsley

Call quite regularly for a sandwich on way to work. Prices are average for the area. Good quality produce and always fresh. Even when busy never have to wait overly long for service.

arrived just over 40 mins late kept changing the delivery time and the breakfast came have empty spilled all into the bad 😢

Dissapointed this time, usually i get a personalised salad as theres quite a few things i dislike/they give me heartburn, i was sent a basic already made salad with all of the things i asked not to be included in it, also the chilli was falling out of its box, the only non dissapointment was the hash browns, always lovely they are, shame about the salad though, usually my go to and reliable place to order one from :(

missing items, driver said not his problem, so I called the restaurant directly who said it had all been sent and didn't seem to care, told me to call back later or get in touch with just eat. I paid for items I did not get, why should it take 7 days to get sorted?

Beef salad sandwich was beautiful, even have boiled egg on. Could’ve done with a little more beef but still lovely. Bacon was well cooked and barely any fat. Steak baguette could do with a sauce of some sort but was cooked perfectly👌 arrived on time and very well presented.

Have got to say the lunch meals are lovely. Ordered twice from here and both times have been proper tasty! Nom nom nom!

Paid extra for cheese and butter on the jacket potato and asked for no salad received beans and colslaw and salad. Breakfast was nice.

Usually my favourite place for salads although today my salad box was smaller than usual and the label says 'no pasta' even though i never asked for no pasta, pasta is why i order your salad box.. a little dissapointed this time but still thankyou.

this says that it was delivered at 11.56, but it wasnt. food was ordered for 11.45, driver arrived 11.56 and handed over 2 bags, but all this food was wrong order, so i gave him it back. i had to call the shop. when our order arrived again, it was 12.10, so was 25 mins late by then.

bacon was undercooked, the bag was full of grease and the sausages had zero flavour

When I got my food and opened up the bag, beans and tomatoes leaked all over the carrier bag and onto my floor so I recommend using a tub in future apart from that the rest, I enjoyed.

Best jacker potato's around, the club sandwich and large breakfast are also the best, won't order from anywhere else.

The food was nice. However, the coffee is not. They really need to learn how to use that machine they have. It was such a waste having a good coffee machine but not being able to use it properly. The place itself could do with a little refresh, too.

I asked for a jacket Potato with Cheese and Coleslaw with NO BUTTER and it came with butter therefore unable to eat it as i do not like butter. Also one of the Tuna Jackets had prawns in and my friend is allergic again not able to eat !!!

Eat at the cafe with my mum maybe twice a week for breakfast and cannot fault it one bit. Ordered for a quick lunch today at home for me and 2 of the kids. Paninis were great! Presented really nicely with coleslaw, salad and crisps. Kids wolfed theirs. One of whom is usually a fussy eater but he scoffed the lot with no issue. Will definitely order for a Saturday lunch again. Great food, great service and unbelievable value. Even with delivery!! See u thru the week x

The food was hot, fresh, and tasty. It was delivered on time. Only fault is a side was missing but overall an excellent experience but I would highly recommend this cafe and will be ordering again.

Terrible experience. Ordered to my hotel, & they left it at reception, didn’t call me to let me know or mark as delivered in the app so I had no idea it had arrived. Then hung up when I called and ask where my food was.

Ordered two large breakfasts and they did not disappoint! The bacon wasn't too salty, the sausages were flavoursome! I was actually surprised at the black pudding as it came hot and juicy as opposed to really dry. Cracking sized portions of beans and tomatoes and the fried and and mushrooms were cooked just the way I like em. All in all a really great breakfast that came with with toast or bread and butter 😊

Ordered 2 large breakfasts and couldn't eat the majority of the food because it was so greasy and oily. We've ordered from here before and haven't had any issues, but this time was a massive waste of money. The worst part were the hash browns that were full of oil and tasted like they'd be cooked in oil that desperately needed changing. Sadly completely put me off.

The meats were swimming in oil and mushrooms and sausages were burt which caused the oil to go brown and Separate , I have photos to prove this , just disgusting I understand it’s a breakfast but the amount of oil was a joke , it was late so it was just like they slapped our breakfast in a tray and that was that burnt and just overall not a good experience and a waste if £15.79 as it went straight in the bin due to the whole breakfast swimming in fat

The meats Were absolutely saturated in fat and oil and due to the mushrooms and sausages been burnt it made it separate which was discussing and offputting because every item of our breakfast was dripping in this brown horrible stuff all it arrived 35 mins late so it look like it had just been slapped in a tub and called a breakfast we wasted £15.79 as we didn’t eat a thing because of off putting all the fat and oil was , disappointed and a waste of money
