Sorry should have left a review long before now. Last stayed here in June, third or fourth stay here now for myself and my wife, as we came up with friends who had not stayed in the area before. Lovely stay as always and well looked after by Lottie and the staff. Rooms are not "The Grand", but that's exactly why we love this place, it's a cottage feel! Yes, you may be able to hear other guests from time to time, but it's not IBIZA!! Have always found other guests to be friendly and chatty too, which is nice. A relaxed atmosphere with nice people in a lovely location. If you want a nice comfortable stay in the company of good honest people with lovely surroundings and in a great location then Cottage Leas is ideal. Will definitely be returning, and will 100% be ordering the black pudding and bacon stack!

Good location nice lady running the place friendly atmosphere the small finer details of the room's need a little fettling but Im not the first to say I'm extremely observant and aware so not to be taken in a negative way please, overall good place 👍

Very nice venue. Good quality food and drink. Dog friendly. I hate waste so when I was left with 1/2 a pot of tea I asked for another cup for a friend... to be told it's one per person. Bit tight if you ask me.

Hutton-Le-HoleAbsolutely loved this pub/restaurant. We sat outside with our dog at one of numerous tables and had a delicious Sunday lunch. So much flavour in the meat and the roast potatoes were the best. A bit pricey but worth it for the setting, the food, the service and the landlord brought out some steak pieces for the dogs to share. Amazing.

2 Market PlaceA lovely friendly bakery, just one wee table to sit and and have a coffee and observe the comings and goings of the regulars, the holiday makers and day trippers. Bread and cakes wonderful, a lovely lady owns this place and I wish her well!

smiddy hillDecent choice of food available however we ordered pie mash Mushy peas and gravy. Only had 1 pie (so got a pasty as there was 2 of us) Mash was made from a jacket potato it was very lumpy tinned peas over blasted in the microwave served with a smile however forgot the gravy and it arrived half way through us eating the meal. Sadly this place could be a little gold mine if run correctly and proper attention to detail applied with the food. We hafmd our lunch at 12.15 so there was no way they could have ran out of mash? Could do better really
