A great place to enjoy breakfast/brunch with a continental feel. The staff were attentive and happy. The food was well prepared and presented although one of my poached eggs was overcooked Thank you

We had dinner with colleagues. We were more than 12 persons and it was simply great from the service and the food quality. All went so smoothly which made us a great experience. The cost is also very well positioned to make the restaurant in the best place. I would definitely recommend it for everyone and will come back certainly. Thanks for all the restaurant team.

Our experience at Côte Brasserie - Norwich was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived until we left. We felt welcomed and pampered by the food and the service. As we have celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary we would like to say a big thank you to Daniel who has made our celebration even more special. We highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you. We will be back soon.

Exceptional service and food - prices are fantastic for the amount of food and quality of the food.

We usually prefer independent restaurants rather than larger chains, but this is an exception. Cheese board in particular was excellent, and excellent value too.

Just eaten lunch at jenny’s restaurant. What a Lovely lady and a wonderful host. We had such a lovely relaxed lunch. Food is so good and tasty. All of the waiting staff are also lovely and excellent.

We went for a family meal and all the food was well presented. I had steak which was cooked to my liking and tasted delicious. The services was very attentive even though it was Saturday night. It was a little noisy for my mum who is 92.

Friendly quick service..steak frites perfect French

Visited as a large group (20) no pre-order offered on the meals so the orders were taken on arrival. This was my first visit. After hearing so many good reviews, I was excited to try the food here. Absolute carnage is the only way I could describe the evening. The majority of the food was delivered well presented but unfortunately cold, two steaks and a burger meal were returned to the kitchen on two occasions and in the end they decided not to eat, as by the time their food had arrived everyone else had finished, only to have to send them back again. The kids meals, which should have been delivered first, were delivered 10mins after the first meals hit the table, at an unacceptable temperature (cold). The tables were cramped with different sized eating spaces for us, some of us almost sat on each other's laps. The chef absolutely let the front of house team down that evening.. The ONLY redeeming feat from our visit was the front of house team and the manageress, were incredible, helpful, polite and patient. A £600+ bill at the end after reductions and 2x free bottles of wine as an apology. This was still too much for the food we received, but we paid and left to find somewhere to feed the 3 that didn't eat. Please do not book a large, important gatherings here (this was an 18th birthday).. the chef will let you down.. And lastly, please clean the mirrored surfaces in the dining area. They were disgusting.

Popped in for lunch, no queue and no booked table, straight in, service excellent food also excellent.

A lovely quiet breakfast to finish off a lovely little break. I ordered the french breakfast (black pudding was amazing). However the stand out of the breakfast oddly was the humble mushroom. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The wife had french toast which was a huge portion. I added a sausage, did not need too!

We came on Thursday around 4:30 pm for some dessert. The lady that served us looked so inconvenienced by us. Not only did she go to the table across from us twice, but completely ignored us that I had to physically get up my chair to get her to get our orders. Throughout our time in the restaurant we felt like we were imposing. Will not be coming here again.

My son took myself and his mum here as a birthday treat for her. When we visited on an early Sunday evening there was plenty of space for us to sit, although having pre booked we were shown to out seats on entry. All the staff were attentive to our needs and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. The food was delicious, we opted for the fixed price menu which had plenty of options and all the food was delicious. Our meal was great value for money. The drinks were slightly more expensive than I'd like, but there was some really nice options for soft drinks. I was apprehensive about going as it is not the type of place I generally frequent, but I would readily recommend to anyone now.

Lovely food and great service at the beginning of the evening, but it waned a bit towards the end.

Good food and reasonable cost. Service was good as was the atmosphere. They had a problem with delivery of baguettes which was discussed. However, I would have thought for a cheese board they could have come up with a better alternative than sliced white bread. Surely they could have procured something locally from some of the great bakeries in Norwich or provided crackers.

We had a meal in the cote Norwich for last Valentine's day and very impressed about the food and the service. So we again decided to have a meal for our Wedding Anniversary. We are particularly interested in CÔTE DE BOEUF( 22oz Ribeye steak sharing for 2). We booked the seats by on-line then my husband phoned them directly and tell them we want to have that dish for our special day. The lady who taken the phone said no problem and they hold the meat for us. Also my husband phoned before the day for re-confirm about this request, then again they said no problem. On the day of our Wedding Anniversary, we arrived the restaurant on time and just after took the seats, the lady who seems the manager of the restaurant informed us CÔTE DE BOEUF is not available. She said we can still order normal Ribeye steak. But that's not the same isn't it? From the picture, CÔTE DE BOEUF is huge chunk of the meat with the bone! We were very upset and disappointed. We are not live in Norwich, traveled 40 minutes by car for this occasion. So we decided to walk away. Later, my husband sent a e-mail to the company for complain about this but we still haven't get any reply. We think their service was out of order and won't use the restaurant in Norwich again.

Decided to book a table at the restaurant to celebrate a graduation. On arrival, one of the managers came straight out with a ramp to navigate a big step. Although the ramp was steep, my electric wheelchair managed ok. There was plenty of room inside the restaurant despite being busy, and we were shown to our table near an accessible toilet. The service was quick but not rushed, and we were soon given drinks and food. Although the price of the food was a little expensive, the food was delicious and well presented. Everyone in our party had a fantastic meal and experience. Would highly recommend.

Excellent food and service. What's not to like.

Went with my family for my graduation celebration meal. The food was stunning, a bit pricey but it was 100% worth it. The staff were lovely and were very patient and attentive, especially with my elderly grandparents.

We had a lovely birthday supper. The food was excellent and the service was superb.

This was simply wonderful.Everything from the welcome to the food to the care and attention given to everything. A first class breakfast that extended into lunchtime and had the best deserts as a real treat.

Absolutely loved it here. Separate gluten free menu, great with dietary requirements! So many options to choose from. It’s bigger than it looks on the inside, and has great decor. Staff are wonderful and I felt very well taken care of.

We were passing, tired & hungry, & were inspired to pop in rather than plod home. Luckily we arrived before the rush as we hadn’t booked. Excellent service from Georgina & delicious food as ever. Can recommend the Wye Valley Asparagus as a starter.

A pretty disappointing meal overall. I haven’t been in well over a year but it’s historically been the best fillet steak and creamed spinach I’ve had. This time the cut of meat was very fatty to the point where I had to send it back and get another one. The second steak was much better but unfortunately parts of it were rare rather than medium rare, but by this point I didn’t want another. The creamed spinach was also disappointing - just watery and with grilled cheese on the top which they didn’t used to do? Sharing dessert presented very poorly but did taste lovely. Staff were polite and attentive but I did expect them to perhaps give us the dessert for free or some money off etc due to the meal being poor. Atmosphere wise it was fine but the toilets were dirty and had no soap for the duration of our visit.

Absolutely amazing meal, Charlotte was our server and wow she was great very knowledgeable and nothing was too much!

Portion size is no joke here! I was planning to have a three-course meal but had to settle for two courses because I could barely finish them. The dishes were really interesting and creative. I did enjoy my main. The servers are very busy, so they can be less attentive, but overall it was still a fantastic experience for me.

Had an excellent meal with cocktails here last week. There was a great deal on which meant the cocktails were free and the staff were helpful and just attentive enough. Would definitely recommend.

Delicious food and excellent service.

We really enjoyed our meal here and found it reasonably priced. Service was excellent too unlike a local steakhouse we tried the night before which was abysmal. We would return. The only complaint we had was the pasta dish on the children’s menu was ridiculously small and feel wouldn’t really even feed a toddler let alone an older child. This does need to be reviewed, especially given the price of pasta is fairly small.

We booked as we passed the restaurant, we were a party of 5 & returned at 4.30. During our time there the the resturant became very busy. Which was good to see. The food was as good as on our passed visits to their chain of resturants.

A find, surprisingly large restaurant, very welcoming, good food, great service. Gave advice on dishes including possible food intolerance. Great place, should book very popular, family friendly.

A popular venue. The team were all good. From the person who greeted us, through the team that took orders and those runners who brought the food from the kitchen. The food was great value and good quality. We went for the fixed price lunch menu. What's not to like. Cote is a good brand we are relatively new to. Happily return/use another venue. A pleasant experience. We spent £55 on two courses and a glass of wine each.

Nice restaurant. But the food on our last visit was less than average. Asked for the lamb to be cooked medium. Came well done. Parts of the pork belly was so hard around the edge it was not edible. Think I will go back to ordering steak and Frits .

Dominica was our waitress and was the most friendliest helpful polite server we've had for a while. Dominica was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine, overall a lovely experience for a birthday meal.

Thank you to the maitre di who went above and beyond with customer service this morning for my mother for some freshly baked croissants with apricot preserve, she enjoyed the hot chocolate and your service was absolutely brilliant. See you tomorrow for breakfast at 10!

We come to Côte all the time and for the first time the quality of the food was this bad and we were not satisfied at all. Although I stated when making the reservation that it was my husband’s birthday, no drinks were given as a gift as mentioned, the boeuf bourguignon was very bad, there was almost no sauce and the meat portion was very small, and it was also the first time I ate this meat by cutting it. I asked for extra sauce, but the sauce I received was different. My husband ate rib eye and it was this tasteless and tough for the first time. Frankly, this is the first time we leave this dissatisfied.

Our experience at Côte was lovely, the service was excellent, there were so many lovely things to choose from on the menu and the food was just amazing! All for a really good price (we chose from the festive set menu). We went for a Christmas date night and when we got there they offered us the quieter table at the front of the restaurant which was really nice. It was a romantic and relaxing evening - Côte is definitely my new favourite restaurant!

Went for early dinner with 2 friends. Cote is a "go to" restaurant for us. There was nothing wrong with the food or alcohol but we all felt the service was a little below their normal standard on this occasion. Maybe it was that they are all a bit tired in the run up to Christmas.

Went for a group Christmas dinner. Admittedly we had a short wait despite our reservation but that aside the staff were attentive, the food was lovely. I would recommend this place.

Have been to Cote twice for dinner and both times service and food has been exceptional. This past time was for my birthday, and the service was excellent. I had the confit pork belly and it was delicious, followed by the crème brulee, which they put a birthday decoration on which was really nice. The first time we came we were sitting just by the front door and this time we were tucked round the back, and I think I would request this in future as it felt warmer. Would not hesitate to return.

Love this place which is why we r regulars. The tomatoe salad is a must. Lively friendly staff, especially the manager.

As usual food and staff made this a very pleasant meal. Maybe Côte need to reconsider the portion of the fish parminter as reduced significantly. Will always eat here and highly recommend.

Went with a large group ordering off the Christmas menu. As we'd pre-ordered, service was quite smooth. There was quite a long wait between courses but the staff were lovely and the food was really nice!

Had the fixed price menu offering a good range of choice across the three courses. We prefer smaller plates across three courses rather than one large plate. This was enough food to feel full without feeling bloated. Service very attentive yet not intrusive.

We love French food in general and we know that at Cote many of the classics will be available and will be cooked perfectly. We also happened to turn up the day after the Beaujolais Nouveau release and very much enjoyed a bottle! The wine was excellent. I really appreciate the classic cocktails available too.

I can't fault the food and the service was exemplary. The only profound disappointment was that I was forced to pay by card. I very rarely ever use cards, always preferring to pay by cash. The companies who operate the card machines are almost all run by the big corporate banks who have enslaved a generation through usary to a lifetime of debt. As much as I would love to come to Cote again, as we had such a wonderful lunch I find it discriminatory that I'm not allowed to use legal tender. Also I consider it unethical to use the services of big corporate finance house who consign the most vulnerable in our society to what is often a life of servitude through debt. Remember modern slaves don't have chains but debt. Visa, MasterCard et Al need to be boycotted, not encouraged. Cash is freedom

Food was brilliant and the guy running the place that evening was amazing as well! We went for a mate's birthday and he Had decorated 4 tables so we could choose where we wanted to sit but still be celebrated! The only slight shame was we chose to sit by the bar which was great until we just kept hearing the staff talk about each other behind each other's backs and nearly everyone except the manager got involved. But other than that it was an amazing evening!

The manager/waiter forget to place the order for our dessert. (We wait for 20min and nearly late to the cinema.) However, he waive the dessert on the bill. Overall, The food are excellent except the French Onion Soup. For starters, we ordered: Prawn Gratinee (Really good, sour and fresh) French Onion Soup (Overcook, there's a burn taste.) For mains, we ordered: Beef Bourguignon (Soft and tender beef served with creamy mashed potato) Confit Pork Belly (The pork belly is really crispy ❤️) For desserts, we ordered: Creme Caramel (Excellent! ) Definately worth five stars, will definately come back soon. We were able to take advantage of the special price menu as we were dining before 7pm. The staff were efficient and friendly. The steak for my husband was cooked to perfection as was my chicken.

An interesting mixed bag here for me today. Context.... Movable feast... where dozens of people descend on a venue for a starter, or a main, or a desert. Let's start with the service....very good. all of the waiting staff were genuinely interested in making our stay is good. Natalie is awsome... give her a bonus. Soufle for starter. it was OK. not particularly light, volumous or a taste extravaganza. cheeky little pot of sauce was OK. 660ml of Kronenbourg was north of £7 (really no need for that price in Nch) Summary.... I assume the quality was diminished to cater for the larger numbers of customers at one time. But on my experience.... too expensive for the food and beer for the quality. Staff are great.
