Great food, great service, great value for money 👌

My partner and I came here on a date, before our movie. We were looking forward to our French meals. We arrived 15 mins early, and when we asked if we could come in before our table was booked, they said yes with warm and welcoming smiles. We sat and ordered our drinks. I went for a small detour, getting lost on the way to the toilet, completely missing the door that said, "wc." Had a little laugh when I got back to my table and told my partner, who also thought it was funny. We ordered our meals, enjoyed our drinks, and chatted. The atmosphere was calming and had a lovely warmth to the restaurant. For starters, I had a French onion soup with bread, which was tasty, and I ate all of it, wanting more and more. I also ate a crab paté with radish and bread, which I also ate all of it. My man had a delicious plate of Calamari with a tangy sauce. I tried a nonalcoholic drink, as I am pregnant, but I was still worried that it had alcohol in it, so I didn't drink it, but it didn't look very good. For my main, I had a seafood in a sauce. I ate all of it. He had some meat with tastey chips. We both had two desserts each. Which we enjoyed. I had the chocolate mouse with honeycomb and vanilla ice cream. And a cake. And my man had truffles and a croissant with cream and sauce. (The pictures are more clear, of what we ordered) I would recommend this French restaurant with all the people, whom loves French food and food in general.

I tasted the duck with orange and it was delicious. Thank you for this wonderful meal

Lovely simple but well executed food at a very reasonable price. Service is relaxed yet attentive. Often come here for chill lunch with family and friends.

We went on a quiet Easter Sunday but we were still treated to impeccable service. Friendly and attentive staff ànd tasty food. Great to get kids meals for free as an added bonus.

Treated by work colleagues for birthday lunch and tried new steak baguette with fries. Usually have steak and fries and didn't disappoint. Always a favourite for lunch or dinner

After a poor experience on our first visit (which, to be fair, they dealt with very well) my wife and I returned yesterday. Super food and equally super staff. I very rarely pay service charge at lunchtime as I see it as a bad precedent and an excuse to keep staff wages low....but I happily paid on this visit because everything was so good. I know Côte is a chain but they are endeavouring to maintain an upmarket feel. Good 👍 Well done... we'll return!

Really pleasant enviroment will be back with family soon, staff seem very friendly and welcoming spoke with a supervisor about living in the south of france and felt very welcome. My only gripe was with tne baguette certainly not and fresh as i had hoped for the price point and was quute dificult to chew but this is understandbly not the fault of front of house staff. Was advised this would be put forward to the kitchen

Good food, nice and friendly staff, great location just off the market square and handy for the car park in Duke Street.

Food: Steak tartare, beef bourginon, mussels(fantastic) were more their worth both in taste and quantity. Service: Dominika didn't miss a beat. Friendly, open and her recommendations were spot on!! Atmosphere: Perfect for an engaging conversation with someone without the need to shout. Lighting makes for a lovely mood. Overall: Definitely going back.

Hmmm, I requested to exchange the bread for salad, I received the salad and the bread, which I didn't eat, but was charged for the salad. We won't return.

Scallops cut in half and very over cooked. Main meal felt like it had been keeping warm all day and quite dry.

NY Eve...requested a specific table, didn't get it - I accept that such requests are subject to availability. However, on arrival, my disabled wife and our 85 year old guest had to wait over 10 minutes to be seated, which wasn't a positive start. Once seated it was pretty obvious that many of the staff simply didn't want to be there and to make matters worse, many of the items on the NY Eve special menu were unavailable. The food was on the whole was very good, but everything else was limp at best. Usually have good experiences at Cote, but for NY Eve, I will definitely go elsewhere in future.

A recent visit to Cote Norwich confirmed that they are one of the few consistently good large group restaurant chains. Located in a quiet street away from the city centre the interior reminds you of a authentic French bistro. The food was perfectly cooked and presented and the staff were friendly and attentive. Let's hope that Cote remains for the foreseeable future in as many locations as possible.

Fabulous lunch, lovely food and service

I can not fault your team at Norwich. I have been quite a few times over the last 12 months and it is always a good experience.

Appalling. Upgrade to a 10 oz sirloin, I've carved thicker slices of beef. It was less than a cm thick. The cheese plate, 3 tiny bits of cheese. Avoid overpriced crap

Came here for Xmas dinner. Food was seasoned well, atmosphere was excellent and all the servers were very kind. Beef tartar was fantastic!

We had an absolutley fantastic work Christmas party here. We were a table of 19 but the speed and attentiveness of the team at Cote you wouldn’t have thought we were such a large party! The food was incredible, drinks were delivered so quickly and plates/glasses weren’t long left empty on the table. Fantastic service food and atmosphere 10/10! Rebecca Roberts

2024 12 14 We came for a last minute lunch as we had a voucher to use. It was busy which was nice. The food was ok. Just ok 2024 10 31 We haven't been here for a while. We came for an anniversary with friends who has never been. The food was good but my wife found the pumpkin soup a bit thin and restless but we enjoyed our visit. We have been a visitor on many occasions . We recently went on a weekday. We arrived 10 minutes early and when we were greeted at the door we were asked to choose a table which we did but were immediately told it was not available. It had no reserved sign on it. (During the time we were there no one came and sat there) We then ordered food and waited ages as other people who arrived quite some time after us ordered and got their food. In the end I had to ask a waiter who stood consulting a tablet for ages to be told "it coming"..... No apology, no explanation.... The food was ok ... Just ok A disappointing visit. We come here often. It'll be quite a while before we return. There are other restaurants in Norwich

I love Cote but it is a little expensive so it's usually a very rare treat to eat here.

My mum had an asthma attack while dining here and the staff were fabulous arranging a taxi and helping her feel comfortable - they also didnt charge her for the meal she couldn't finish . Big thanks to the team working there

Came here for a birthday, one starter and 4 mains. Waited over an hour for mains. No one let us know what's happening or going on. No chance I'll be coming back here.

I went there for the first time recently and tried their Christmas menu. I liked everything I had. For starters I had Brulee Camembert. For the main I had the Salt-Baked Celeriac with a side of brussel sprouts. For dessert I had the Clementine & Pistachio Mess (that was a bit too sweet for me). These were good vegetarian options and I would recommend trying these for sure. I would like to mention that since it seems like a busy place it's good to do a pre booking. Also there was a delay in between the dishes. Even though we had pre-ordered our lunch, it felt like it took longer to be served, it could be because the restaurant was pretty busy.

Lovely food & atmosphere. Server was a tad too 'eager'. Hovered while we were looking at the menu & loitering while we were finishing eating. Felt like they were in a rush to get us moving on.

Fantastic value for money, great food and service.

We eat here because the GF menu has a good range and overlaps with the non GF. Thus allowing us to share the lime & passion fruit crème brûlée, which was a delicious take on a favourite classic. The pork belly was perfect with crispy skin, gooey fat and succulent meat served on a bed of savoy cabbage, accompanied by dauphinois potatoes. 957 calories should you care to know - we didn’t as it’s not something to eat frequently and neither of us needed supper. Service dropped a star for offering us the table next to the wheelchair access toilet in a virtually empty restaurant. The door opens outwards…. When my friend politely declined, she was offered the next table, so asked to sit in the main area as usual. The tables around us were still not all in use when we left at 1.30.

I recently dined at Côte Restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, with each dish prepared to perfection. We had dinner with colleagues. We were more than 12 persons and it was simply great from the service and the food quality. All went so smoothly which made us a great experience. The cost is also very well positioned to make the restaurant in the best place. I would definitely recommend it for everyone and will come back certainly. Thanks for all the restaurant team.

Our experience at Côte Brasserie - Norwich was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived until we left. We felt welcomed and pampered by the food and the service. As we have celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary we would like to say a big thank you to Daniel who has made our celebration even more special. We highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you. Just eaten lunch at jenny’s restaurant. What a Lovely lady and a wonderful host. We had such a lovely relaxed lunch. Food is so good and tasty. All of the waiting staff are also lovely and excellent.

We usually prefer independent restaurants rather than larger chains, but this is an exception. Cheese board in particular was excellent, and excellent value too.

We went for a family meal and all the food was well presented. I had steak which was cooked to my liking and tasted delicious. The services was very attentive even though it was Saturday night. It was a little noisy for my mum who is 92.

Friendly quick service..steak frites perfect French

Visited as a large group (20) no pre-order offered on the meals so the orders were taken on arrival. This was my first visit. After hearing so many good reviews, I was excited to try the food here. Absolute carnage is the only way I could describe the evening. The majority of the food was delivered well presented but unfortunately cold, two steaks and a burger meal were returned to the kitchen on two occasions and in the end they decided not to eat, as by the time their food had arrived everyone else had finished, only to have to send them back again. The kids meals, which should have been delivered first, were delivered 10mins after the first meals hit the table, at an unacceptable temperature (cold). The tables were cramped with different sized eating spaces for us, some of us almost sat on each other's laps. The chef absolutely let the front of house team down that evening.. The ONLY redeeming feat from our visit was the front of house team and the manageress, were incredible, helpful, polite and patient. A £600+ bill at the end after reductions and 2x free bottles of wine as an apology. This was still too much for the food we received, but we paid and left to find somewhere to feed the 3 that didn't eat. Please do not book a large, important gatherings here (this was an 18th birthday).. the chef will let you down.. And lastly, please clean the mirrored surfaces in the dining area. They were disgusting.

Popped in for lunch, no queue and no booked table, straight in, service excellent food also excellent.

A lovely quiet breakfast to finish off a lovely little break. I ordered the french breakfast (black pudding was amazing). However the stand out of the breakfast oddly was the humble mushroom. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The wife had french toast which was a huge portion. I added a sausage, did not need too!

We came on Thursday around 4:30 pm for some dessert. The lady that served us looked so inconvenienced by us. Not only did she go to the table across from us twice, but completely ignored us that I had to physically get up my chair to get her to get our orders. Throughout our time in the restaurant we felt like we were imposing. Will not be coming here again.

My son took myself and his mum here as a birthday treat for her. When we visited on an early Sunday evening there was plenty of space for us to sit, although having pre booked we were shown to out seats on entry. All the staff were attentive to our needs and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. The food was delicious, we opted for the fixed price menu which had plenty of options and all the food was delicious. Our meal was great value for money. The drinks were slightly more expensive than I'd like, but there was some really nice options for soft drinks. I was apprehensive about going as it is not the type of place I generally frequent, but I would readily recommend to anyone now.

We had a meal in the cote Norwich for last Valentine's day and very impressed about the food and the service. So we again decided to have a meal for our Wedding Anniversary. We are particularly interested in CÔTE DE BOEUF( 22oz Ribeye steak sharing for 2). We booked the seats by on-line then my husband phoned them directly and tell them we want to have that dish for our special day. The lady who taken the phone said no problem and they hold the meat for us. Also my husband phoned before the day for re-confirm about this request, then again they said no problem. On the day of our Wedding Anniversary, we arrived the restaurant on time and just after took the seats, the lady who seems the manager of the restaurant informed us CÔTE DE BOEUF is not available. She said we can still order normal Ribeye steak. But that's not the same isn't it? From the picture, CÔTE DE BOEUF is huge chunk of the meat with the bone! We were very upset and disappointed. We are not live in Norwich, traveled 40 minutes by car for this occasion. So we decided to walk away. Later, my husband sent a e-mail to the company for complain about this but we still haven't get any reply. We think their service was out of order and won't use the restaurant in Norwich again.

Good food and reasonable cost. Service was good as was the atmosphere. They had a problem with delivery of baguettes which was discussed. However, I would have thought for a cheese board they could have come up with a better alternative than sliced white bread. Surely they could have procured something locally from some of the great bakeries in Norwich or provided crackers.

Decided to book a table at the restaurant to celebrate a graduation. On arrival, one of the managers came straight out with a ramp to navigate a big step. Although the ramp was steep, my electric wheelchair managed ok. There was plenty of room inside the restaurant despite being busy, and we were shown to our table near an accessible toilet. The service was quick but not rushed, and we were soon given drinks and food. Although the price of the food was a little expensive, the food was delicious and well presented. Everyone in our party had a fantastic meal and experience. Would highly recommend.

Went with my family for my graduation celebration meal. The food was stunning, a bit pricey but it was 100% worth it. The staff were lovely and were very patient and attentive, especially with my elderly grandparents.

This was simply wonderful.Everything from the welcome to the food to the care and attention given to everything. A first class breakfast that extended into lunchtime and had the best deserts as a real treat.

Absolutely loved it here. Separate gluten free menu, great with dietary requirements! So many options to choose from. It’s bigger than it looks on the inside, and has great decor. Staff are wonderful and I felt very well taken care of.

We were passing, tired & hungry, & were inspired to pop in rather than plod home. Luckily we arrived before the rush as we hadn’t booked. Excellent service from Georgina & delicious food as ever. Can recommend the Wye Valley Asparagus as a starter.
