We dined here for my friend's birthday lunch, there were 9 of us. We were looked after by a Waiter called Hennessy (best name ever!). He was so friendly and accommodating and gave us amazing service, refilling our wine and took a group photo for us. We are Cote fans anyway but had such a lovely experience and would go to the Wokingham restaurant again. Shout out to Hennessy, just made our lunch that much nicer.

Excellent French food. Seafood was great as was the beef bourginon. A good selection of wines. Desert was good. The after dinner liquor coffee was excellent as was the selection of Desert wine. Staff were polite and efficient.

I am totally discussed at this restaurant & advise anyone not to visit! Iv been going here for years and the management has changed! Not only did the manager who served us prolonged our starters and mains! She then came up to us and asked us to pay the bill before we had our food! I have never felt so embarrassed and judged when we was nothing but polite! There was zero reason behind this! Stating it was new policy! Yet was not on website! She should not be a manager! I have never felt so humiliated yet we still paid our £165 bill and had our food! We should have walked out ! Disgusting behaviour

Yet another great meal at Cote last week end. We have missed our many visits to Cote during lockdown. Service and food, always very special. Unlike many of the poor quality restaurants in Wokingham, Cote stands out as being quite exceptional.

I visited this bar to eat with friends and did everything you are advised to do by a discount card I have and was abused by a senior member of staff in front of friends. Gross bad management. I will never set foot in this place again and would not recommend this establishment!

Shout out to the staff and their attention to detail when it comes to allergy and intolerances, specifically asking whether I had an allergy or an intolerance and then confirming again once they had spoken to the chef.

Ordered online, went to pickup said order didn’t go through their system. Then suddenly it “appeared”. Went home and went back to pick up again 15 minutes later. To be honest would have waited an hour just for the food to be good. Ordered chicken korma and butter chicken. The containers were labelled the wrong way around and was also very confused to open the chicken korma to see it was a white colour. I immediately thought I’d ordered the wrong thing turns out it had so much cream and needed a good stir but was still very very pale. Butter chicken tasted almost the same as the korma just a little more flavour but not a very much. Both very bland. I asked for mild but even this was just not even flavourful more like a coconut curry😂 I don’t like to leave a bad review but had really high hopes since I ruined my diet for it. Since eating my stomach has been upset ☹️

Very poor experience - waited over 40 mins for a simple breakfast and even then the order was incorrect. Staff were pleasant enough but this did little to make up for below average food; filled croissant was burned, cooked breakfast was luke warm and missing some items. Lots of room for improvement, two star overall is generous…
