Costa Coffee Mero in Bath and North East Somerset

Loved my experience at this Costa! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly service. The Pistachio cookie I had was a delightful treat! Paired with a lovely cup of tea. Nikki and Jess were exceptional – their customer service was top-notch! They were both so welcoming and attentive, making sure everything was perfect. It's rare to experience such genuine hospitality, and they truly went above and beyond to make my visit enjoyable. I will definitely be back!

This Costa is warm and a really nice space to write read or catch up with a friend. I like the music isn't too loud. Some cafes have music that is too loud so it's hard to think. Besides a seemingly ongoing dripping ceiling problem, the shop is extremely clean and tidy all the time, and the staff always serve with a smile

Awful service from one waitress in particular at 12:05 on 7.12.24. Incredibly rude, refused to remake our order after they failed to make it correctly and it was all stone cold. I’ve never been treated so poorly by a waitress in my life and will never go here again. Shame of Costa for employing such vile staff.

Absolutely horrendous. We ordered an order on just eat. The order was WRONG as there was items missing. We had to drive down to sort this and the girl serving was nothing but disgusting and rude from the start. We simply asked for the coffees to be remade as they were cold because we had to drive back to get the rest of the order and she flat out refused?? she said it was our fault they had gone cold as we CHOSE to come and collect the rest of the order?? And that the order wasn’t wrong there was just bits missing. Sorry, I think that means it’s wrong?? We’ve paid £25 and we expect our order to be right. She then tells me she’ll make the coffees after the line has gone (how is that fair??? I’ve waited in the line??) and then LAUGHS to the customer behind us. We walked out. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. We come here a lot and we will not be returning she was smug and horrendous. It was a ginger girl on the till serving us, she should not be serving anyone. The date was the 7/12/24 at about half 11.

Staff are very friendly and helpful‼️ The Internet connection DOES work for laptop devices here (those saying you can't connect to the internet on a laptop at this Costa is disinformation, any issues; diagnose your WiFi connection, reset the WiFi receiver and look for the network login button that pops up on your browser, sometimes launching a new tab helps). If you're going to complain, learn how to use your laptop properly first.

Lovely friendly staff, place is always clean and tidy can highly recommend.

Has been recently refurbished. Looks clean and new and much more comfortable.

Convenient and extended parking as needed.

The staff here were super polite and friendly. They make the atmosphere pleasant. Sure, Costa is not a 3rd wave coffee boutique, but it’s good place for decent coffee and the coffee is good. This location had great people!!thanks!!

Staff very helpful and friendly coffee nice... The ham and cheese toastie was a little crunchy perhaps slightly over heated but my partners toastie was delicious

Ordered a cold brew coffee and a cappuccino, not much of a wait and to be fair the cappuccino (which due to the milk is normally lukewarm) was hot.... Well done 👍

It's nice, comfortable and airy and the staff work very hard. Conveniently located for Hobbycraft, Lidl etc. Very pleased that you could have skimmed milk and iced latte with no sugar. It's a good bolthole on a hot summer day and clearly very popular. Handy loos too.

Nice coffee but a bit noisy for my liking

Staff shortage and so poor struggled and the whole place inside and out in despatate need of a refurb. Coffee and food were fine.

Friendly, busy Costa, the coffee is good but latte not as velvety as it should be.

Big queue. Service was slow. Leaking ceiling. People sat without a drink on laptop taking up a table with all the associated gubbins. Gave up and went elsewhere.

Good service. Not the employees fault, but a lot of the fabric seats are very grubby and stained. Wouldn't want to use them myself so sat on a non-fabric type chair. Otherwise it's your usual Costa establishment.

Staff very friendly and the drinks are nice. Parking is sometimes an issue though as it’s a very small car park next to the Costa

Place is relatively new build, a couple of years, good location I would say as there is no coffee shop in the proximity. The staff are polite and respectful. The best flat white in Uk is at Costa!

Came here when Visiting a friend of Mine During the Lockdown although everyone was good with me my friend experienced some of the staff were very rude to him both me and my friend are people with autism and learning disabilities plus my friend also suffers with cerebral palsey so he is not very pleased with the way he was treated through out his visits to this Costa wether I was with him or when he is own his own if you got to know him he is a very good person he doesn't mean to cause any problems

It’s Costa, so you either like their coffee or you don’t. Beyond that what matters here is that the building is nice and bright, there aren’t really long queues outside of lunchtime, and the WiFi is fairly reliable. One thing, though: they really love having their air conditioning set low, so wear a sweater even in warmer weather!

We made a quick stopover for coffee on a Friday afternoon, the cafe wasn’t too busy yet the facilities were dirty and there was lots of rubbish outside which made sitting there less pleasant. Either allow dogs inside (most dogs make lots less mess than people) or tidy the outside, it devalues the brand.

Lower Bristol Road, Bath. I've not been to such an awful place for a long time. The service was mediocre, the toasted sandwich was dire and I imagine this must be what eating cheese tainted cardboard would be like. The latte was like luke warm milk with coffee essence. As if that wasn't bad enough the toilet was disgusting. Never going to this chain again.

Just done click and serve and my daughter ordered her drink separately. First of all the barista told me that my registration number was wrong which it wasn’t then With my drink I ordered a frappe with light dairy cream swirl and when drinks were brought out to us the barista said to me were out of light dairy swirl and cream ‘sorry’ and walked off. She seemed to have a very bad attitude too

Sorry guys very poor today, coffees were just touching 'warm' at best. Seating was comfy though 👍😊

Building is looking tired and needs a good clean. Staff were okay, looked a bit fed up already and they had only just opened! Coffee was well made and served quickly.

Visiting Bath Spa University for daughters interview. Busy coffee house. Staff friendly, attentive and kept on their toes Very handy location for Locksbrook art campus and two of the student accomodation buildings nearby. Coffee not bad either.

This is set near a small retail park. There was confusion as to where the door to enter the building was as doors and windows look alike and the door is not where you expect it! Decent latte and peaceful location though

Awful customer service , website says closing time as being 6pm I went in at 4 pm to be told that it was take away only as they close at 4-30 . This is not the first time this has happened . It had rapidly gone downhill Coffee no 1 for me from now on .

We came just after 3pm, employee was already packing up cakes, at 4.20pm we were asked to finish and leave as they are closing😳

Slowest place for coffee in the west country.

I had a vivid dream last night and I was in this Costa and the coffee tasted amazing there too.

Lower Bristol Road in Bath has three student accommodation on it and majority student housing and the arts campus is just off this road. This road leads directly into the town centre and also has at least 5 bus routes (2 uni only) which is very high in Bath, a Lidl and Sainsbury's (two of four big supermarkets in Bath and the most affordable ones) as well other shops, a gym, coffee shops, takeaways, whole foods and pubs despite being on a main road. Costa is one of these business have obviously opened here to attract students without consideration of the local people.

Enjoying trying different flavour hot drinks for 50p.off to get a luxury hot chocolate.Obviously very busy and queuing,bit all social distance measures in place and staff are doing a great job under pressure.

I do prefer to support independents but no one can top Costa for a hot chocolate made with almond milk. But their tea.... would rather scoop water from the river...

Over priced , 4 quid for a cheese toastie, 4 quid for a coffee, give me greggs any day

This is the second time now that I've ordered a cream drink and its been tasteless :( Had to go home and add my own chocolate syrup. Can you please make sure your staff are properly trained in making the recipes, and quality check them occasionally to see if they actually taste nice

Stunning view of carpark, also view of Bath school of art and design with river passing by of you squint. Coffee up to usual standard, staff helpful. Hobbycraft opposite to relieve you of more money.

Costa serve a coffee we like and we are keen to support them. We'll be glad to get back to normality but for now we'll put up with paper cups.

Good coffee as expected but Costa hasn't organised the shop to maximise the numbers it can cater for with Covid restrictions on place. Also the QR code wouldn't work.

Average service, average coffee. Not blown away by anything in this Costa, but quite good all the same. COVID rules are somewhat unclear here.

Great coffee shop that offers a range of different cold and hot drinks and lots of food including veggie and vegan options. Not perfect as toilets are always a little grubby and alternative milk is ridiculously expensive.

Excellent service, coffee at a perfect temperature!

This particular visit was not a good one. I bought a flask as well as drinks and food for three but was over-charged and then the hot food did not arrive until we had complained. There were three staff in and it was quiet there. Simply forgotten about. Usually a good visit.
