Costa Coffee Evesham in Wychavon

This store is becoming a problematic store , I visited yesterday only take out service as illness , never anything in the cooler to eat lack of food, no cookies or croissants for a few weeks Today no skimmed milk And a few weeks ago had porridge and it was put in a bowl as a dollop when asked if it was ok I said no so all they did was pour cold milk on it Disgraceful your staff need training and the cafe needs stock to run

Lovely and cosy, worth a visit to sit in . Excellent service from Emma who served us today. She was friendly and polite.

I come to this costa fairly regularly. Sometimes i get great service and exactly what I ordered. On a day like today, I would not recommend coming. They had dozens of staff but only one was actually making drinks. I ordered two flavoured lattes (obviously paying extra for syrups) and I got two plain lattes. I ordered a hot panini and it came out still fairly cold. It wasn’t extremely busy so it wasn’t a matter of confusion between orders, etc.

You can alway get a fantastic coffee when visiting costa in Evesham everyone is so nice and attentive , Sophie is cool nothing is to much trouble

I have visited Costa at Evesham on severaloccasions now and on each visit it has been very positive. Last Sunday (22nd August) I had a lovely coffee. Very flavoursome. Tracey is thmanager there and she is so cheerful and friendly yet professional. The venue is always immaculately clean (including the spotless toilets). Highly recommended!

I love Costa for coffee. This one is on a great place to grab a drink and go sit by the river. The manager is super friendly BUT there’s a barista with long hair who seems to make it her mission to be rude to customers.. other than that young lady it’s a great place.

Having visited last week and had a poor experience I thought I would give it another try. Sadly it has not improved. The staff member was friendly, however, she spilled the milk on my tray, there was no apology or offer to clean the tray. Having sat down I was then subjected to the 3 staff members loud conversation about the lack of decaf tea, customers coming in shortly before closing time and forgetting to get newspapers for customers. They also swept and mopped the floor dragging chairs and tables and banged the wooden stairs. It Seems that once the drink is served and the money taken, the customer doesn't matter. 5 minutes later the drink is Luke warm. As is the ambience and service. Not everyone wants to be called " lovely " or be more stressed when they come out of the establishment than they were when they went in.

Amazing service, warm welcome. Staff were very polite and took time & listened to your requested reqirements. Drink was lovely and hot as well which is always a plus in my book..

We decided to visit here to have the first festive coffee of the upcoming Christmas season whilst visiting Evesham for the day. As Costa Coffee's go, it was ok but very average. We enjoyed our drinks but the setting inside was nothing special. It was ok but not mind blowing. We visit a lot of Costa's across the country so know what to expect in general.

I often pop into this branch of Costa for a coffee and a snack. Nice friendly staff and fast service. Can't go wrong!

We were this morning for a coffee which was ok. Just ok. I think it must be better. Also we waited 15 minutes for 2 flat whites.

Great coffee, but the best thing (we have it every time we go to any Costa) is the raspberry almond slice – it’s yummy and lovely and moist. We like espresso coffee, but they do a big range of different ones for those who like milk.

We frequent a lot of Costas on our travels, and we pleased at the service level we received in Evesham today, drinks were brought to our table to save us waiting for our drinks. Well done!

Stopped for a coffee break while traveling to Evesham .As it was Saturday it was very busy however service was friendly and heated meals served quickly .The cleanest Costa toilets I have come across .

Don't expect quick service before 9 am, lack of staff and appears lack of interest. Better mid morning!

Located in town centre, this popular coffee house provides a welcome break for weary shoppers. Service, unfortunately is slow.

A return visit to Costa in Evesham. I always have a medium latte in a white mug with latte art on the top. The latte art “fish” was outstanding this morning. A very talented Barista. Fast efficient service. Staff were friendly and efficient.

I was shocked and disgusted by the cleanliness in the toilets. In particular the old, very well used and gross toilet brush which is in full view. Originally white but deeply engrained brown . The sight of this made me feel quite ill. A very cheap thing to replace, hard to believe the management can let this pass.

Free wifi a comfy seat by the window. I’m not a coffee drinker so always have a nice large cup of English tea here. Backed up with a nice muffin or whirl what more can you ask for. The service is great and the local,paper is available for a read. Or look out on the Main Street and people watch.

Well it is Costa coffee so you know what you are going to get. Right in the middle of town so handy. Staff are always pleasant and with other similar coffee houses opening in Evesham they will need to stay on top of their game.

The staff always remind me of the song by the punk band voodoo glow skulls... They always come back.

Saturday morning with good service, staff looked efficient for the time of day and very helpful. As always in Costa, a good coffee and toasted panini

A quality chain of coffee houses with about one in every city we travelled to. Very consistent and clean. The baristas listen to your requests you might make about the preparation of you beverages.

A typical plastic Costa, same service, coffee as normal. Staff disinterested and atmosphere lacking. Good for a coffee in a rush but dont delay.

I am a local and live in Evesham and this is a very busy Costa and very occasionally difficult to find a table. Not enough attention is paid to the clearance and cleaning of tables not sure why that is could be down to the fact that they are not employing enough staff. A lot of locals use this early morning and lunch times for take away and at times like this be prepared to wait. The staff are very friendly efficient and work extremely hard. They have two toilets one up a few steps on a higher level and a disabled one at ground floor level. The Coffee and food is standard throughout the Costa Estate. The major problem in my opinion is the unit that Costa occupies it is long and narrow and always appears cluttered. There are bigger and better units that stand empty from time to time in Bridge street and Costa would be well advised to look to these as they are victims of their own success, you have to ," Speculate to accumulate "

Service was good helpful young lady but it was difficult to find a clean table (10.35am) It was not busy , but was very dirty Just had Coffee and left has left a lasting impresion of the Town which i am sure must have some very good points

Visited Costa in Evesham yesterday with my Mom while out shopping. When we entered the coffee shop every empty table was laden with rubbish and discarded cups. We picked a table and cleared it ourselves. I then joined the coffee queue which took what felt like a lifetime to be served. The young girl in the till was slow and too busy chatting continually to her colleagues. The two gents on the coffee machine were working extremely fast. This shop seems under staffed and definitely wasn't ready for Saturday Lunch time service. We had 2 large hot chocolates and a piece of cake each which was pleasant enough. Overall it was ok and as I love the Costa brand would visit again. But hope to see a improvement next time.

Reasonable coffee, not really hard to mess up, but no atmosphere in the cafe. Staff were okay but wanted to clear up ready to go even though it was more than an hour before closing

I don't normally go into a costa as I'm a tea drinker and think this is better in a small independent but we wanted a drink before returning home I had a flat white coffee which was nicely presented with a leaf pattern on top it was reasonably hot the staff are very friendly in this branch

This Costa is normal. It is like every one in the country and abroad. It is great but the down side is it always has queues

The staff at this branch work as a team excellent service. It's spotless including the toilets. Full marks to the manager. Would definitely visit this branch again when in this area.

I must say that I love coming to the Evesham town centre Costa. My wife and I usually bring our one year old daughter during the day when our boys are at school. I have also found the staff here so polite and on times when I have my hands full with the little one always offer to bring my drink over to the table. It is newly refurbished which makes it feel modern and clean. Hands down my favourite coffee house in town.

Always delicious coffee and tantalising things to eat, but most of all it is always served with a smile and friendly banter. It is certainly good value for money.

The Evesham Costa offers the standard menu of food and drink and these are prepared well. The premises are just a bit tired looking and grubby, especially the toilet facilities.

this is a nice branch of Costa, centrally located in Bridge Street Evesham. Good customer Service, and quality coffee is served.Reasonable prices- Americano costs £1.95

I like going to coffee shops, Café Nero, Coffee #1 and of course Costa Coffee. I hadn't been to the Evesham one before. The service at the till was fine, except the young lad making the coffees had forgotten what my order was, so I told him no problem. My wife meanwhile tried to find a table that had been cleared and cleaned, which was proving tricky until a member of staff came by and did the tables. Well cleared them but not cleaned them. My coffee was delicious as always and my Brie, Cranberry and Bacon pannini was superb. On the toilet door was a note stating that the hand drier had broken and please use the paper roll. Which was fine, but if this was the case can someone keep an eye on the loo, cos the paper tissues were spilling out of the bin, which didn't make it a joy to be in there. As I said I like Costa Coffee, but I may not visit the Evesham again one any time soon.

Typical Costa except that although there was no queue I had to wait while 2 members of staff discussed the ordering routine. well, one did to the oung lady who was tryign to serve me. The 3rd lady was washing up & was obviously not happy with the situation. I felt like asking the the one doing all the talking if she would be quiet & let the young lady get on with trying to serve me. This is unusual in a Costa I know as the service is always excellent however busy they are teh staff always pass the time of day as they serve the excellent coffee. That apart we would not hesitate on calling for our coffee next time we are in Evesham. Very clean as expected.

The staff are friendly, the coffee is not that great, the tables are often not cleared & need a good wipe down. I think the food is overpriced but that is the same for all Costa's. I would prefer to use a local business with more character & better coffee.

Whenever we visit Evesham we pop in for coffee. The staff are very helpful and efficient. Due to its popularity we have found that staff don't always get chance to clear tables. This is purely down to staff shortages. The food and drinks we have found to be of a very high quality.

We dont often go to Costa as we had the perception that they were expensive, however having been there today I would have to say either we were wrong or the prices have come down?I really liked the atmosphere when we went in as it was very peaceful and there was the lovely smell,of fresh coffee.Unfortunately however we were then joined by a screaming child whose mother and grandmother seemed oblivious to, whereas everybody else in there were not!Another strange occurrence was when I put our tray on the table we had chosen a member of staff whisked the latte off the tray saying 'sorry I'll sort that for you' and took it back to the counter.He then made anither one and brought it back over, which was fine other than we hadn't a clue why it was taken in the first place?Overall a lovely reasonably priced coffee in an initially pleasant atmosphere, spoiled by one child and 2 oblivious relations.

I am an absolute Costa addict and visit a number of different stores, this one is by far the dirtiest I have been to. During most visits there are dirty cups on the tables and bits of food on the floor, the staff are polite and make a good cuppa but could do with paying a little more attention to the dirty crockery on the tables and ensure this is moved swiftly and the tables wiped down.

We were surprised today on ordering coffee at the counter the barista offered to deliver the drinks to our table as soon as they were available. The drinks were to their usual standard but I found the staff at this Costa Coffee to be far better than the usual standard. Please maintain the emphasis on service with a pleasant smile

Visiting Evesham for the day we walked up from the river up Bridge street and came across a Costa coffee shop. I like the blend of of coffee the costa coffee shops serve so called in for a coffee. I like the latte coffee and the Evesham coffee provided the goods.Nice friendly staff. worth visiting if you like the Costa brand of coffee

This place is in desperate need of a deep clean. Everywhere you look there is dirt - skirting boards, stairs, all corners, walls etc etc.As normal unsupervised group of kids working on a Sunday morning. Liked to put their hands ALL over the rim of cups whilst serving you. All in all after one coffee in an over handled cup and looking at the dirt and grime, I felt quite illCome on Whitbread get your act together

Do not be put off by the small frontage, there are plenty of tables within the building. Lovely staff, very helpful to the elderly in particular. Standard of food, excellent and well presented.

Usual good costa coffee. Decor perhaps a little dark and lighting could be better. Staff friendly and helpful. Have used it many times.

Lovely teas and coffees just like your usual coffee bar, perfect place to relax and chat in nice surroundings. Perfect after a few hours of retail therapy :-)

Brilliant. I love costa and i try and visit a costa in every town or city i go to. Always for a slice of cake. I have a hot chocolate but the range of drinks they serve are fantastic

Two Guys too busy talking to service their customers properly absolutely awful will not go there again and hygiene was awful chocolate powder everywhere

We dont drink coffee very often but we popped in twice during our short stay in Evesham and even though we only had flat white coffee, it was absolutely wonderful and the barista poured it perfectly with a stunning design.The cakes and food looked lovely and the staff were very friendly.

It's a typical Costa Coffee shop with the same range of drinks and food that you'd find at any Costa. The decor is even the same as at pretty much any other Costa. However, the atmosphere is good, the drinks and the food are good quality and the service here is especially good. Not a fan of chains in the main, but this branch of this chain is very good.

Only thing i was disappointed with upon visiting this place was that they have stopped doing the chocolate brownie and that i was not asked what size hot chocolate i wanted and was charged and given a large.Other than that service is always good and cleanliness is of a high standard.

Well known Costa allways attracts new and loyal customers as services and products are the same in Costas. But what makes a difference is different staff. I think Evesham staff is friendly and polite although I seen myself when staff was laughing at somebody the other day who I think did not speak best english and were taking a piss if him. It never happened again but still I did not like it.

As a regular visitor to Costa, Evesham, I always find the staff friendly and helpful. The best hot chocolate in the town is the main attraction, as well as the free WiFi!

Stayed in the Evesham Hotel for 3 days in December and walked to Costa Coffee each morning for a light breakfast. Staff was excellent. Really started the day of right.

Love Costa so much! Not just because of food and drink but the customer service is brilliant.

The manager in this Costa is brilliant as are two of the staff James and Tor but when the Assistant Manager is in charge the atmosphere is terrible. She comes across as rude and harsh - she needs to be more friendly. Lose her if you want to keep your reputation.
