Costa Coffee in South Lanarkshire

I visit costa often and I have been impressed by how the staff have adapted to all the new Covid Guidance. The staff are very helpful and friendly in even the most trying of times. They recently converted to the click and collect system and again it was all managed efficiently. This is by far the best Costa store and I have been to a few ! They do the Costa brand proud.

Called into costa today the 4th of December for some take away drinks .Three times I told them the size I wanted but they still got it wrong.Very abrupt rude staff who could not make eye contact.No please or thank you ,and when I had to ask for the cream on my drink that I had paid extra for I was met with muttering staff and a guy who rolled his eyes and proceeded to put the tiniest amount of cream on my drink.Maybe the staff should be reminded that they are there to serve customers and not treat us as a nuisance.

The gentleman working there today was making sure everyone stuck to the rules. He was pleasant even under the pressure of people just being awkward. Definitely doing everything he could to keep everyone safe.

Hi all, just been to Hamilton Costa and are sitting behind the restaurant. The staff are sitting on the floor in the bins area smoking. This is the RUBBISH BIN AREA! The three staff have just walked back in!! So disgusting and unhygienic!! Photo is of staff seating area...

Been here a few times..always been busy..great friendly staff..good products offered...nice space to catch a few minutes..

Had a good coffee from costa...nice and hot and asked for extra caramel syrup and it was no trouble.

I only ever use this place to meet a friend before an evening class, so we only have a coffee and a brief chat, but it has good and friendly staff and the coffee is OK.

A regular visitor to this Costa and always assured a friendly welcome and warm tasty coffee. Attended a couple of days ago and Karen and Lynne were working. Tables were all clear inside and the sitting area in the mall. One of my favourite Costas.

go here every week for a quick coffee and sweet treat every week while shopping friendly nice staff ,not a lot of seats ,but space is limited for them worth a visit

Literally had to go through about 5 different drinks on the menu before they weren’t “out of stock” of some of the ingredients. All their xmas branded ones with a cake offer - no chance and they wouldn’t honour the cake with another in stock drink... not great.

The Hamilton Costa is far too small for Hamilton I can't count the times i have been getting sereved when there are planty of free seats only for the cafe to suddenly be mobbed and by the time I get a coffeee there are no chairs left - VERY frustrating and not very relaxing. In addition far too many tables are not cleared as staff seem to be very busy all the time. Despite this the staff are exceptionally nice and the coffee is great, but it needs to move to bigger premises.

Bought 2 mint choc chip milk shakes and they were to die for.. absolutely amazing!! Best ever.. really tasty n very filling n can taste the small chocolates bits. Had them twice since lol

Yo vengo a esta Costa en algo regular. Siempre ha sido coherente. El servicio es siempre bueno, amable y hay veces que no tienen extras para mi hija.Mi única insatisfacción es su ubicación. Con tantas tiendas vacías, parece una vergüenza tener este dentro de un centro comercial, sin vista.

Within the shopping centre, same as any other Costa Coffee outlet. Had both indoor seating and seating within the mall passageway. Free daily newspapers.

Una chica en particular tiene una mala actitud con los clientes. Pedí un café con leche caliente y templada. Tomó, y les pedimos que climatizada. Me susurró algo a la chica hace de él, lo puso en una jarra y me dio volver - todavía no extra caliente - con un sarcástico 'disfrutar'!

The weather was bad when i visited here and thought big cup o hot chocolate would warm me up, place was busy but managed to find a seat inside, in the hope of the heating been on to warm me up shame they had only cold air blowing, When i got to the counter i was served by a lady and then guy make hot chocolate, they were to busy chatting about random stuff not really what i wanted to hear.

I had a toasted sandwich with Cumberland sausage and caramelised red onion, followed by a medium latte. It was a tasty lunch. I like to sit here and people watch.

Big improvements over the last couple of months, well done girls. Switched where I have catch up with my friends when I'm in Hamilton

I came here to meet someone for an interview today, I told the people working at Costa and they were really helpful and friendly, they even gave me a caramel slice to say good luck. Thanks very much :)

As Costas go this one is about average nothing special about it it's ok for a quick coffee but a bit cramped and the tables could have done with a quick wipe

Was in there again yesterday. Don't know why I keep going back. When it's someone that can actually make a cappuccino that serves you, they are great, but 90% of the time they can't. Quite a while ago, we visited another local Costa. It was quiet and the person serving us gave us a demonstration on how to make a proper Cappuccino. Seemingly it is a third, coffee, a third milk and a third froth. It was fantastic. I moved really close to the Hamilton shop a few years ago and go most weeks in search of this elusive cappuccino. Never had one yet! What training do the staff in there get? If you complain, you get looked at as if you have a problem!! They're taking good money off you for it. At least get it right and not serve a flat white

Visit here regularly and food and drinks are always of a high standard. The staff and management are always attentive and friendly and keep public areas clean and tidy.

How do you make a Costa second rate? Coffee'sthe same, prices the same, food the same, yes your right the staff are poor. Disinterested more interested in their night out than serving customers. While in the postman delivered a letter and they were also more interested in this than me. This is a poor coffee shop compared with the other cost as locally. The staff could not careless not a good experience.

usually menu as per the millions of Costa coffees we have in the UK, what makes it great is the staff, very friendly and warm.Would get better review if it wasn't so expensive.

Was in today with my little boy. Servered by very friendly, attentive, happy staff. Was refreshing to receive such good customer service, by pleasant staff. Good place to stop off an feed my little boy and get a coffee. Highchairs were great too.

Coffee was good as you would expect but there were two young women preparing and serving who were having a laugh and were very, very loud. They sang along to the music and it was far from conducive to a quiet conversation and relaxing environment.

We stopped here as we usually love Costa, this was very expensive, much dearer than the proper Costas. We won't go back!

This is by far the poorest Costa I go to in terms of how quickly service is achieved. However the coffee is always consistently good

I have visited this costa today and asked for a take away coffee, whilst waiting on my coffee they Barista asked my order which was no what I asked for, so I said to her what I asked and paid for to then receive bad looks and comments from the person who served me at the till. Complaining about my order and saying I asked for something which I did not. Very unprofessional and disappointing. Staff very rude. Won't be back!

I regularly use this coffee shop. The location is ideal right in the heart of Regent Way next to the shops. Also, being Costa's coffee, I can be sure of a consistently good cup of coffee. Also available are a variety of teas, iced teas, soft drinks, chocolate drinks and fruit drinks. I love the cakes and there is a choice of sandwiches or paninis available. It is good to sit and watch the world go by at one of the "outside" tables. Unfortunately, it is a bit expensive but the quality of the coffee is assured. The staff are courteous.

This is the only major chain coffee shop in Hamilton (no Starbucks/Nero), and is situated in one of the main shopping centres. Some tables are inside, some outside the cafe within the covered shopping area. Good, quick service.

I recently went to costa's I had ordered a lemon slush drink it was up to a high standard my tostie was fine but it was a little cold by the time I got it . the staff were nice. So it overall was nice

I have been coming to Costa Coffee in Hamilton on and off for years and now that I live in Hamilton, I visit it at least once a week. The coffee is excellent and from the vantage point in the Regent Centre you can sit and watch the world go by. Service is always fast and cheerful. Tip - if a regular visitor make sure you pick up a loyalty card.
