Costa Coffee in Eden

Lovely little costa in a lovely small town. The manager Martin serving was a lovely man very chatty. Drinks were lovely and hot. Would def pop in again when passing.

Just passing and called in, one of the nicest corporate Costas I've been in. Seemed popular, service decent staff friendly In a nice location to.

Outside the building looked good but bit run down tired looking building. Walked in for lunch it was manned by a ruffled curly topped slimmed tall young lad.  He was tad flustered but was  efficient and well organised running the busy Costa cafe single handed. The tables were covered with trays and busy  I cannot understand why the poor lad was left on his own?  pretty appalling.  From my visits to other Costas, this Costa's layout the space wasn't utilised properly it looked crowded as if it was all jumbled looking set up.

Really great service again and again! Two people serving, very attentive. There's nothing not to like here and wholeheartedly recommend.

Terrible service, waited for ever with a long que and only one member of staff on serving. The guy serving was very rude and looked stressed out, didn’t bother trying sit down as most of the tables were dirt with other people’s cups and stuff on.

In seeing the empty Costa I thought I’d get a quick coffee. I walked in a member of staff was on the phone at a table. On her break I think, someone will be with me in a minute. But no waited and waited and after no seconded member of staff and no, “I’ll just be a minute”, or “be right with you”. I realised that my custom wasn’t needed. I got coffee down the road.

We came in for coffees which were very good as usual for this Chain of shops. The staff here were by far the most COVID compliant I have seen and were taking things very seriously.

Restaurant was clean and adapted for social distancing, staff as always very helpful and still the best flat white . Would like more choice in the sandwiches/ toasties available but was excellent value with the eat well for less offer

No teníamos conexión a Internet donde nos estábamos quedando y estábamos encantados de poder usar Costa varias veces. Era todo lo que uno esperaba de frimma Costa: buen café, buen té y muchos dulces. A nadie le importaba que estuvieras allí durante años. También es un edificio atractivo.

Had my first visit to Costa in Kirkby Stephen recently when i stopped for breakfast. I use Costa's many times and this one is nice and small. My son and i visited at 08:15 and they only had one bacon roll left and no sausage which is very poor. Nice lady serving but i just do not understand Costa as yet again one member of staff which i madness!!!People left after waiting in the queue surely have at least 2 members of staff at all times. Toasted sandwich and flat white were great!

Pity to see Costa making Kirkby as generic and dull as market towns across the country. Boring packety food and bog-standard drinks- lots of better places to go locally.

Costa bien decorada en un lugar que no esperábamos. Limpio y ordenado, buen servicio y, aunque los pasteles son estándar en todas las costas, se veían muy frescos y atractivos aquí.Las cómodas sillas probablemente están diseñadas para personas que tienen una longitud de muslo estándar de más de 6 pies.

Siempre use cuando viaje hacia el noreste un pequeño gran lugar para una parada en el camino desde la M 6 hasta la A 1. Buena selección de pasteles y comida y las bebidas son la selección habitual de Costa. Buen personal amable y servicio rápido!

Nice surprise finding a costa just love the coffee and cake.staff were friendly and polite.set us up for our walk.

Usual consistent service with exceptionally good coffee (it can be a bit variable). This is actually part of a franchise group so doesn't match the national Costa offers - something of which to be aware - but the staff were impressively helpful and made us very welcome. Recommended!

Pasando por Kirkby y decidimos llamar a un café. El pensamiento "ah Costa, no puede ir mal allí", pero aparentemente tú puedes. El lugar estaba vacío, aparte de 2 miembros del personal, así que no hay excusa para el desorden en el que estaba el lugar. Ninguna de las mesas estaba limpia, el suelo estaba cubierto de migajas y trozos de comida y la puerta estaba llena de hojas sopladas en el suelo. calle. El café y el sándwich estaban bien y el personal lo suficientemente amable, pero realmente necesitan abordar la limpieza, me desanime.

Coffee stop on the journey home to the NE. Previously the building housed a bank and they have used the space wisely...it isn't likely to get rammed with custom so no need for a huge amount of seating, visited late on a Sunday (4pm when they close at 5pm) and service was quick, efficent and friendly. A really good addittion to the town and a welcome break for our regular cross country drive...

I’ve visited on quite a few occasions, since the branch opened and I have been very impressed. The decor is lovely and is a welcome addition to the town, the store is clean and tidy, both inside and out. The service is efficient and all of the staff are very friendly and helpful and the quality of the products served is consistent with those in other branches. I would definitely recommend a visit to Costa in Kirkby Stephen.

I was amazed my coffee brand of choice chain opened in Kirkby Stephen. My expectations were met the team are attentive and professional. The atmosphere is relaxing and as always the coffee is excellent. I love their new filter coffee in particular. Well done and I will be back again and again. Rob

Excellent coffee served by friendly staff. Clean and spacious with comfy seating. A great addition to Kirkby Stephen high street.

Called in for a cheeky hot chocolate on the way to work. Service was quick and friendly, was served by Sharon and Jade who were very polite will be back. A nice new cafe.

Popped in for a winter warmer, and was very pleasantly surprised,large cappuccino and piece of cake later and a chat with very friendly and courteous staff, this quaint little place was a former bank, will be back to make another withdrawal..

You can still smell the paint of this very recently opened outlet in a former bank building on the main street.
