Costa Coffee in Rugby

I used to be a fan of Costa coffee a real regular who often visiting many different stores but the service has turned out to be very bad and the distinctive taste of washing up liquid seems to be in most coffee that I buy from them when they clean Thier machines they often squeeze the cloth over the drink they have just made. For this reason Costa have lost a good customer and I will not be going back anytime soon also they have never answered to any of my complaints so good riddance Costa

I love Caramel Latte and Costa is my favourite. On a warm day they do a brilliant iced coffee, not just iced coffee though, this one is creamy with crushed ice. It is a Salted Caramel Frostino and is the best drink I have ever had even better if you have it with cream on top. Probably full of calories but I Love it

Gran Café, caliente y sabrosa. El personal es rápido y amable y el lugar es limpio. Buen servicio, recomendable.

Café siempre es genial. El volumen de personal es bastante alta, pero actual personal es amable y eficiente. Ambiente encantador temprano por la mañana, gran croissants.

Visité Costa (Rugby) esta semana y quedé horrorizado al ser servido por una señora con pelo literalmente a su cintura, que sirve comida y bebidas sin sombrero/net de pelo! Realmente me quitó para ser sincero, así que decidí sólo en una copa y enseguida a la izquierda! Sentamos con mi café (que estaba delicioso) y lo oyó otro cliente comentando la misma! (Quizás algo que la administración necesita para abordar en el futuro.

Very nice tasty cappuccinos with a lovely millionaire type shortbread. Comfy chairs, friendly staff. First time visit. Won't be last.

Called in today at Costa at the Clock Towers. The cafe was quote busy but the coffee was great. The staff were friendly especially Emily who made us very welcome.

The coffee game is surely so competitive that the major brands would be on a purge to drive absolute excellence. This store however proves that Costa must be quite complacent as I came here a year ago and the experience was dirty, low quality and careless. Today one year on I thought what the hell it can't be awful again. Suffice to say that a cheese toastie came out looking already like it was half eaten . Completely mangled, and somehow both soggy and burned. Inedible but the waitress cleared my full plate away from in front of me without any enquiry as to why it was uneaten. And she was the one that brought it to my table! Sorry Costa but it was disgusting, however the worst part was that no-one cared.

If I could give this a zero I would,worst coffee I've ever drank,rude staff. Won't be back,poor coffee for the price

I love a Costa! I meet up with friends on a weekly basis and Costa is always our first choice for a coffee and a cake or even lunch! My little girl loves having a babyccino. Service is good! Baristas are always very friendly and the place usually clean. When busy, the tables might take a little time to be cleaned!

Now I don't like or enjoy coffee, so I can hear you saying why is he writing a review on a coffee shop, that is because when we visit here every week we are we owned by the 2 manager with a friendly smile and a glowing morning from both. I always order from there frappe menu, my friend always have a hazelnut cappuccino or a regular one, not all cost as are the same but you have to visit this one, will make your exspections go up! Trust me !

This Costa is a real let down. The coffee we ordered was awful - tepid and smelt like washing up liquid. The tables are packed too closely together and it's just a bit, well grim really. It's handy because it's smack in the middle of town, but it's not worth the price of the coffee for me. It's a shame really, it's probably been outdone by Cafe Nero on Elliott's Field.

Me and my friend we are reagular costumers in this branch! Always having 2 flat white coffee with water!!! Absolutely tasty, always perfect coffe ! Staff very kind, nice and helpfull!! Can only recomend! Well done Costa Rugby!

I'm not usually a big fan of Costa but I had a very nice soy chai latte here recently and it might have converted me. Staff were friendly and the cafe was really clean and well maintained. I'd recommend to a friend.

We often come in here for a coffee while we are out shopping. The coffee is fine and the staff are friendly. It is often quite busy, especially with staff from Rugby School. We find the newer Costa Coffee a few hundred yards away near the Clock Towers lower entrance more pleasant, but that is rather limited on downstairs space.

We attended with our two small boys late one Saturday near closing time but the staff were still on top form and looked after us well. SO many Costa branches don't seem to care about customer service, but this one did.

The staff were about as friendly as Rottweilers with toothache. Offering little eye contact without even a hint of a smile. They appeared bored. Granted it was a hot day, however customers still expect a level of service. I ordered a black coffee to take out. I was asked what I wanted it with...... Black coffee? I suggested a disposable cup, lid, napkin and a smile.... I got a thunderous look. Apparently a black coffee is called an americano. When americano had been called out three times (I was only person in there) I asked if it was a black coffee and she grunted something Inaudible, nodded and pushed the cup and contents in my direction. I left vowing to always use Cafe Nero from now on. At least their staff have some personality and a friendly smile.

I go most days, the staff always provide great service and coffee, in a very nice pleasent atmosphia :) thanks costa team:)

I always preferred starbucks, so I would not blame Costa for that, but I loved their black forest hot chocolate
