Wednesday 23rd August and we were travelling with British Airways, from Terminal 5 Heathrow to Dublin. As we arrived at the Airport a bit before check-in opened we decided to have a coffee here. Having been in this Terminal before, we knew that it was located on the ground floor within the Arrivals area. Thought it was best to find a place to sit, in the rather sprawling seating area, before one of us proceed to the counter to order our coffees. Although the service areas were clearly marked, with overhead signs, Till 1, 2, 3 etc. It was a bit unclear as to which serving areas were operational, customers seemed to be wandering from place to place in the hope of getting some service A guy took my order, I oredered and paid for  two flat whites, which were £3.45 each, he wandered off down the far end of the counter, did not realise that another member of staff at another section was preparing the coffees. Maybe a but snobbish when it comes to drinking coffee, I prefer to drink from an actual ceramic cup, rather than a paper take away cup, especially when drinking on the premises. The coffee could have done with another shot of coffee, it was rather flavourless, too hot to drink, just like over heated milk, had to wait for it to cool down.

We were totally disgusted by the dirty and ripped state of the seats! We arrived with friends from the US and this is what they experienced as their impression of the UK. I see other reviews stating the same several months ago and STILL nothing has been done. This is the first impression for many of the UK and as a Brit I'm disgusted by this. Heathrow and BA, shame on you for allowing this and in such a prominent and lucrative part of the airport. Costa coffee obviously do not care and are not held to account on this. Because of this I will avoid all Costa Coffees from now on - if the seats are in this state what about the cleanliness of the rest of the premises, that we CAN'T see!

Rakshit gave great customer service and kept us informed of when our drinks would be ready. He was very professional and gave service with a smile. Great staff and would recommend!

The coffee shop is very clean and staff are so attentive. All hot nd cold drinks are fleshly served by their trained staff. The staff name is 'Kiran' she made my day fabulous when I visited yesterday. However, I visit this shop almost 5 days in a week. I will strongly recommend my fnf to visit his shop.

We went to Costa coffee in terminal five for coffee while waiting to be picked up. We had to wait for a few minutes but the service was fairly fast and friendly, and the coffee was great.

Shabby, poorly maintained seating. Looks awful and ridiculously overpriced for what is well below average coffee. T5 needs independent coffee shops, not this rubbish.

This is a standard Costa, but I don’t know whose wise idea it was to have pulsating lights on top. Passengers are already jet-lagged and disoriented - is there a need to add to this by having the lights dance around on and off? Apparently, the local store managers cannot control this. Walk down about 50 yards on either side for other options for a cup of tea and snacks, but without the light show.

Mr.Idal was excellant and quick at the same time. May be that’s what you want at busiest airport where no one has a spare minute. I am a coffee lover but positive person like Idal (apologies if I spelled it wrong) is an icing ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had an americano with cold milk. Nothing else. Did contact less. Take away. Looked at my bank statement and had been charged £6.28!!! Was it worth that. Certainly not.

Not a Costa fan but dropping son off and saying goodbye so went for a drink. Standard offering, staff friendly and the place was clean. Not many other choices

T5 Arrivals 04.15. Sales assistant couldn’t be bothered to tell me all the flavours available, I had to press her for more info, as I knew there are more than 3, especially at this time of year. I expect better service for not exactly an inexpensive frappachino.

Hard to find anything positive to say about my Americano. Too hot and bitter. I guess that is what you get when you scale a business and prioritise efficiency over flavour.

First when we went go and order we was told that there was not any vegan mill alternative and it was not possible to get something vegan to drink. Later we sorted it out. But still. I when ordered a vegan sandwich with vegan beacon and spread. There was no spread in any of the two sandwiches. In addition to this, I got a strong stomach pain after eating the sandwich and drinking the iced coffee. Now I got stomach issues.

Disgustingly rude. Asked for a gluten free hot drink and was brushed off that they don’t have any. In the end turns out the ignorant person didn’t even know what gluten free meant. Disgusting service, giving people the wrong information. Will never drink from there again

I like the costa brand by far, I met a friend for a quick catch up and this was the most convenient place. The ham cheese toastie was tasty, The seating area was clean and the staff were polite.

The queue wasn't even that long, but i must have waited 20 minutes to get a cup of coffee. Not that i had anything else to do, but for goodness sake! Otherwise, it was Costa!

Costa Coffee all over the place, also in Terminal 2 arrivals and departures. If you get in just a little bit too early, this is a welcome place to sit down and relax a few minutes for the off-peak fares (after 09.30) to kick in.

Its right where you need it - an anticipated good cup of coffee as you get off of the plane and waiting for your ride home. However, coffee was okay and not hot enough - bit disappointing. Busy and bustling so seating a bit challenged...

This is a casy cafe in the busy airport in the arrivals ares. Go down there when you have checked in or when you wait for check in to open - they have great coffee and a relaxed environment.

Well walked in ordered my lunch they where quick at payment and service didn't ask eating in or out just straight in to take away pack u till I got annoyed and said I did mention eat in and me ordering a vegetarian toasty once...

Grabbed a cup of coffee and pastry while on the run from one flight to another. The coffee was hot, rich and flavorful, the pastry was a little on the dry side like it wasn't fresh.

Costa coffee is a franchise so the coffee is the same as everywhere else. The service was fast and prompt. The feel was relaxed and enjoyable.

Costa is the sole cafe in Terminal 2 Check in, level 5. This is a relatively new terminal but the Costa concession is a disgrace. The upholstered chairs are worn and torn. The floor looks filthy and is covered in chewing gum. Painted chairs are dirty and paint scuffed.

I am not sure why Costa staffed this airport coffee shop, where people are in such a rush to get home, with their slowest and most indifferent employees. I would encourage the execs at Costa to ‘mystery shop’ this one at 7:30 AM on a Saturday to experience a special breed on frustration: huge queues, shambolic slow service. Today I gave up, as two others did and as I have done probably 20 times in the last year. You can see people checking their Uber and realising there’s not enough time to grab a cup, because the staff is just not hustling. Check your LHR T5 people out Costa: I have walked away from at least £100 of potential coffee buys in the past year because your people are sleep-walking. Very disappointing.

At the busiest terminal in Heathrow when time is important for most travellers I don’t know how at the arrivals Acosta coffee they can have only 2 tills staffed. As a regular weekly traveller through T5 I see the same faces every week complaining about slow service.

Good coffee, quick and efficient service in a very busy cafe. Cafe is right in front of the Terminal 5 Arrivals area.
