Costa Coffee in Chesterfield

I love coming here, I can relax and unwind.

Good coffee. Some items half price. New packets of fudge expensive. New hot milk shakes have a lot of sugar in them.

Verry clean and tidy nice friendly staff especially Garry tarren and Jordan amazing service will always go to them

What has happened to their coffee it’s like warm water even with 3 shots it’s still not as good as when they first opened

Prices have gone up, the air con was too cold (but I understand that this is set centrally) and it was quite noisy today. However, love the coffee, the staff are wonderful and it's always clean. No queue today too!

Like every other Costa Coffee ever. Just enough above average to pass the test. Try an independent place instead of supporting this coca cola owned cafe. Society, Cawa, Bottle and Thyme are all within a short walk and are so much nicer.

Never have I seen such hard workin staff under pressure with getting orders sorted and made to perfection with high expectations of certain picky people with there requirements and daily intakes and propley bodily functions aswell not goin to rule that out but I can say hard workin team with a good speed with delievery and service and cleanliness One happy customer over here and thank you for my hot choclote it was made with perfection a* chesterfield team

Staff, especially the manager, are unfriendly and rude.

I'm complaining about our store in Chesterfield packers row the woman who served us was very rude towards me and my friend who deaf and I have server disabilities too and was shocked by how rude she was not first time she was rude couldn't get her name she had no badge on not sure if she manager there anyway I have server health issues and I have anxiety didn't need her attitude uncalled for was 20th December 2022 10.30am but great coffee snd clean store but toilets aren't always clean

Never fails to provide consistently good coffee by friendly staff. This branch has had a make over, the layout and decor is lovely.

This costa was really good, very good staff, always had a smile and got all the orders correct.

Typical Costa,,not sure why screens at tills are still needed as makes ordering tricky,,busy place nice coffee

A good place to while away some time and chill out. It's a chain, but at least you know what to expect.

Lovely hot chocolate with marshmallow and crème. Tuna melt sandwich was delicious too.

Good coffee. Food offerings are slim but decent.

About the usual good quality I expect from a Costa.

So the infamous coffee chain Costa, widely known for its million and one syrups to make a perfectly good coffee taste nothing like coffee. This Costa branch did not disappoint! Loads of choice to add to your brew and quick service so can't complain about that at all. Inside this small coffee shop there were plenty of seats ensuring they could cram in as many patrons as possible and out side there was a small area for you to enjoy your beverage in the fresh air. Cost of a brew is the same as any where so not to expensive and if your parched why not stop by have a brew and grab some cake.

Fantastic coffee and very friendly service

I use Costa as my breastfed baby has a milk allergy and these provide oat milk AND go above and beyond to make sure there is nothing else in the drink to cause a reaction.

Today is the 17th of may 2021 and it was the 1st time everyone was allowed to sit inside anywhere and order a drink or food to have inside,yippee,I've now got 645 points on my Costa app aswell so next time it's free coffee for me and my wife,👍

Women at the drive through had a really poor attitude. Ordered my daughters a hot chocolate and babychino, usually get asked if you want marshmallows separate, not in the drink, when I flagged this up was told by the rude lady - “this is a drive through, you should tell us!” She then went on to charge me 50p extra for the marshmallows I had already paid for. The way she spoke to me and her attitude shows that she has major weaknesses in terms of her customer service. Not good!

Getting in my daily steps and decided to walk to the new Costa coffee and back,stopping only for a nice toastie. On arriving at Costa could see long line of cars waiting to be served,which usually says "this place is good",however my toastie was awful and only grilled on one side !! I asked one of the four girls behind the counter if my toastie should be grilled on both sides and was informed that NO this was how they served them...I was somewhat surprised but not being a local Costa customer I sheepishly excepted this answer and asked if she would mind cutting it in half ...which she did rather begrudgingly...not the best service and certainly not the best toastie

Please train your staff in customer services. After arguing to get my order through my drinks were just left on the side for me to collect, utterly disgraceful. I have been here many times before and this was unbelievable. Coffee was as good as ever.

poor service , two adults and 1 child. 2 female staff abrupt 6pm at night, just told no when i asked for toast for the 4 yr old

I'm not a huge fan of Costa but my husbands loves it and their smoothies, the chap behind the counter was friendly and patient and the staff seemed cheerful enough .

I'm not a regular visitor to Costa's but this one seems fine, good service, clean tables, plenty of social distancing.

The coffee is as good as ever and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately because of this Covid thingy the tables were not cleaned or sanitized between customers.

Nice cafe, good choices with lovely drinks and snacks/lite bites. Friendly helpful staff and good safety measures in place. Clean facilities with onsite toilets. Can sit inside, outside or take away. Seasonal specials available throughout the year.

I gave 5* as i found the Costa staff in this store to be well organised outfit ,with reduced tables available due to the socially distance guidelines etc ,staff were on hand to ask customers in the queue who required tables etc ,directions were given once tables came available after being cleaned, counter service was equally as good ! ...A Great experience in these testing times ..well done to everyone

Good coffee , good toasties clean and felt safe whilst this 2mtr distance is on .

The place is nice inside. But the prices are disgusting! Absolute disgrace they get away with charging so much! And you have to que to pay. On the continent a coffee will cost you half the price and a waiter will serve you at your table and you won't have to pay until you leave. But as long as people keep paying the prices they will just get higher.

Too Loud And Not That Many Chairs

Great if you need caffeine, not so great is you want anything that resembles the taste of coffee and don't even look at the prices your paying for swill. The service is slow, the cakes are stale and the location leaves much to be desired especially for a "coffee" shop.

Over priced. Tables not always clean. Some of the staff need to smile. There are plenty of better alternatives in town. I only go if my friend wants to meet here... otherwise I avoid and go elsewhere.

Had a coffee, toastie and some lemon.drizzle.between bus journeys. Was great and I got.a bit.of the cake on.the end extra which was very nice from.tue staff as it was a slither but was kind to.give it to let anyway free of charge. Lovely place

I go on a Sunday morning foe a Cappuccino, Always clean and great coffee and a newspaper to read if you want. I like it here because they dont try to up-sell, which is what you don't need on a Sunday morning
