Costa Coffee in North Lincolnshire

I went today with my granddaughter and her boyfriend to Gallagher Park Costa Coffee Scunthorpe, the staff are usually very good but today a staff member was so rude to me, as well as food I ordered a hot chocolate with coconut milk…she also shouted out from the worktop hot chocolate it was, I am 74 and not in very good health so normally they bring it across to me. I had to take it back it was not mixed very well and there was great chunks of cocoa not mixed, when I went to speak to the rather rude lady, she grabbed it out of my hand and said she would make another one didn’t give me chance to say it was made with coconut milk as she was the one who did it in the first place, so she was very very rude when I told her it should be have been made with coconut milk….not a very good representative of Costa coffee

terrible waited 10 mins to be spoken to in drive through understaffed horrendous service do not try it! we had to drive off in the end without ordering even though only 1 car in front of us

And go we did - through the drive through and out again....with a great coffee for the final part of our journey. Good coffee on the go for those in need of a caffeine fix. Great location and imagine that it would be busy during the week and the weekend!

Disgusting, 2 tables available, the rest full of used trays from people that had left. Was in there for 30 mins and no table cleaned Horrible attitude of a male staff member doing the drinks.

nearly Died of shock at the price for a small latte £4.30 and 9 before you get a free one .Just got a machine to make costa coffee pods 10 for £4.40 can not tell the difference from you making one

Visited today and was met by an extremely rude young lady. No manners what so ever. All the other staff were fantastic but I’m afraid 1 staff member let this lovely Costa down. I don’t know if she was having a bad day, but it’s definitely no excuse for how she spoke to us. But I would say the other young lady who then came to the window was extremely polite and apologetic.

Terrible experience on Sunday morning 2nd of July , never going here again so my bank balance will improve! Waited ages for coffees left out in front of people hovering over my tray waiting for their drinks, went to collect drinks , o choc powder on cappuccino , so I put it on myself, the shaker was next to my coffee to be shouted at by the server “Don’t ever touch our things ! “ at the top of her voice in front of 15 people ,I was mortified, I had just hand sanitised being a nurse, and thought that the soaker had been left for me to use.I just said Sorry I didn’t know , no apology just a dirty look from the little madam who had just handled someone’s money then had her hands which were covered in fake tan all over my drinks !!! I just wanted to leave, but stuck it out for my mums sake , coffee was also cold to add insult to injury ! Never ever going there again , just saved loads of money! Sorry lady you have no class and no customer service whatsoever, this is what happens when a company employs anyone and is all about profit !

Charlotte and the team this morning (Thursday 2nd Feb) were so friendly and bubbly. Charlotte served us our drinks and truly is a lovely lady, an asset to the name and reputation of Costa. Every Costa needs a Charlotte!!!

I wanted to post about the poor service I received at Scunthorpe Retail Park Costa yesterday. I went in with my daughter, son in law & baby granddaughter at just gone 3pm. We put in our order to be told its take away only, there were other people sat at tables enjoying their coffees so we asked why, to which we got shrug of shoulders from the 2 ladies that were serving and a we don't know you'll have to ask the manager, who was at the back of the store cleaning. The manager kept his head down and did not acknowledge us, and the staff did not offer to get him. We did order some drinks, 3x frappes, I asked for 1 without coffee. When we got outside and tasted our drinks the other 2 did not have coffee, so my daughter took them back in, the attitude of the lady serving was very off hand, she made new drinks but when they were done she just banged them down and did not say a word. The service was disgraceful we had gone in to sit down as I have disabilities and need to sit down and take medication and the baby needed feeding, I would have understood if it was close to closingtime, but there was an hour and half left. I can honestly say that this is the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time!!!!

Firstly I drink alot of coffee and visit many different coffee places and This Costa is possibly the slowest serving coffee establishment I have ever visited. If you have an appointment don't take the risk and get stuck in the drive thru as you will be late. I have even tried to go inside for a takeout to see if its just a drive thru issue. Unfortunately it isn't and I don't know why but expect long waits for your coffees.

Half of my drink was on the side dish due to them putting a tonne of cream ontop making my drink spill straight out the cup. Apologised but didn’t remake it.

I just bought 4 peach iced tea from the drive thru and not only did they have no ice in it but they all were luke warm! And it wasn't as though they didn't have ice as my cousins iced mocha had ice in it! I'm extremely disappointed that i spent so much money!

My work colleague ordered a delivery through Ubber Eats, so I added a cappachino coffee. Paid £3.20 for half a cup of Luke warm coffee. Won't be using again!

Such a warm welcome and a delightful environment for people like myself to be around. Easily one of the best places for a quick stop and refuel yourself kinda trips. Keep it up!

Out of all the Costa shops I've visited (all the Scunthorpe ones and some further afield) the Costa located inside Tesco has the friendliest staff! No matter how busy or stressed, they always appear to be in a good mood which lifts every one who visits. Another customer in the queue with me said she felt the same, and that is why she chooses this Costa shop too. It is usually busy being attached to a busy supermarket so they could do with more staff to clean the tables as that often can let it down. Also cups of tea are only £1 here so better value than other Costas too.

Costa do sometimes get it wrong but not on this occasion. I had a really good latte and a nice piece of chocolate cake. Well done.

This is the second time I've been to Costa and been given cardboard cups/plastic lids take-away cups even though we've been staying in due to the "dishwasher not working" staff not busy, so I don't know why they can't wash a few cups rather than wasting throwaway cups. Not only that but doubling up on them. I think it's a discrace.

I'm a disabled coffee adict, I've been using this drive thru for months, I always have large latte, three extra shots, cost is expensive in my eyes but very worth the hit, however on 11/08/19 I visited at 09-30 hours, I received my coffee drove home and was shocked to find froth and half a cup of coffee, this is a disgrace, although everyone knows Costa is a brand not a roaster these days the product rocks, sadly, the poor choice of a terrible barrista has resulted in this negative review, as always no one from the company will use this for good in training nor will I get an apology, but ide expect nothing else.

costa is costa... but tables need clearing way way quicker - it's not good for customers to have to stack things themselves onto another table and wipe the table with a tissue. It wasn't busy and plenty of staff on. Was there 50 minutes ...12 tables with used crockery on and not one table cleared by staff. Really !! and clear the service area...there are too many things on it - you don't need 3 milk of the same type on there, chocolate and split milk ....wipe it up.clear up as you go along...it's not rocket science and at least shows you might care about customer service and visual perception. It wasn't busy - you have time between customers... These staff were not kids...needs managing !!!!!!!! Seen tidier Costa's in tourist areas of the UK manned by staff clearly under 21 all with foreign accents..

Had a praline Christmas latte, it was delicious. Hot & tasty, cafe was clean. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Just mediocre. Paid for the goods but didn’t get the products. Quite disappointing. I asked for spiced apple drink but all I got was a like warm apple flavoured drink with a slice of dry lemon. This wasn’t a SPICY drink. Where was the stick of cinnamon and the anise like other years. Certainly Costa is on an economy drive at the cost of quality and cheating the customers. What’s next- smaller glasses and cups??

The Costa is lovely place and welcoming friendly atmosphere clean and tidy and great atmosphere too nothing to much trouble either helpful and friendly staff and management and service too x

just stopped for refreshments. somehow it didn't seem quite as good as others we have been too, not sure why it just didn't seem to taste quite as good.

Went here for a quick drink, very slow with service and there are other Costa's in the area which provide a more efficient service and cleaner, ie not having to clear your own plates.

This Tesco, Costa is terrible, the worst ever.

One of my least favourite places in the world dirty and rundown. I will definitely not be going back,dirty tables dirty cups staff unfriendly

I visited this Costa after a long day before checking in to my hotel across the road. Standard design and seating as expected but unclean tables a put off. Only one member of staff on duty doing a great job under the circumstances, but unfortunately could not do everything. The service was slow because of staffing issues but the young lady was polite and apologetic. Coffee to normal standard and enjoyed as per normal.
