Fab costa, food excellent, coffee perfectly made, staff very friendly and helpful 😀 The cafe was clean and busy

Queued for ages only to be told by staff member who had a bit of attitude that they could only accept cash. Here’s a tip for you…put a sign on the door that says that or tell people who have been queuing for 15 minutes.

Absolutely terrible rude service. Lady wasn’t listening, kept ignoring and interrupting me. Gave me the wrong toastie and made a huge scene in front of everyone saying that I’d taken the wrong toastie when she handed it to me in the first place. and was very rude about it (yelling) how disgraceful, extremely embarrassing being yelled at in front of all of the other customers. asked her 3 times for vanilla in my coffe and kept talking over me and didn’t end up with vanilla afterwards. Certain member of staff needs to be retrained immediately. Need to rethink certain staff members definitely. never coming back.

Visited today, coffee wasn’t made very well coffee and hot chocolates super watery, stock was low and it was first thing in the morning no breakfast sandwiches out or pastries. I was offered marshmallows for the kids hot chocolates and they were completely gone only good for the bin pictured below. Never had a service like this in any costed around surrounding areas

The staff are lovely, the coffee excellent, BUT the place needs to be cleaned properly and cleaned regularly. The woodwork looked as if its never been polished and the floors were filthy. A let down when you're spending hard earned good money.

Even though people were still in there ordering coffee and sitting down they insisted no more orders as they are closed.. yet every page you go onto says open for another 50 minutes..

Dreadful experience today. Very very miserable unwelcoming staff. Couldn’t even raise a smile between them. Everything was an effort. No customer service what so ever. Will not be returning for a long time. Only bonus was a nice young chap on the door. But as for the other two... 🙁🙁🙁

Coffee is great tasting staff are always polite only downside this place gets busy and sometimes its hard to get seat. not quick to clean tables as all busy serving.

Driving out of Llanelli early morning, stopped off at the Costa Coffee in Parc Pemberton Retail Park for a takeaway Cafe Latte. Lots of free parking (even though we were only there for 5 minutes or so), with no traffic issues - (well it was the morning when Wales were playing Rugby, so that probably had an effect), getting into / out of the site. Everything you'd expect from a Costa Coffee. Bright friendly service.

A pleasant and airy costa located close to a variety of shops and ample free parking at the Pemberton retail park. This Costa sells the usual branded fare but with a smile and a warm and friendly service. An ideal pitstop during a day of shopping.

Had a few visits in this Costa. Staff Are friendly and knowledgable in their work. They interact well with their customers.

Popped in for a coffee and cake while waiting for the kids at their classes. Can't fault the food and drink and would have been a stronger rating if not so busy

I usually call in for a coffee and a read. Staff are always happy, helpful and pleasant. I always need help taking my coffees to the table and they never grumble , always ready to help.

Stopped here for a coffee only a very wet day. yeah surprise it was raining in wales. It was very quiet clean tidy frendly and did some great coffee will use again.

Nice place to chill and relax with my coffee and book . Also they offer milk alternatives . Coconut Latte is my indulgence . Staff are friendly and helpful . They also offer a selection of used books to purchase and the money goes to charity. One of my favourite Costa in the area .

We sat down to a lovely relaxing coffee and Biscotti's one dull afternoon and took in the aroma of the coffee beans being ground as we listened to the whoosh and squirts of fresh cream being artfully arranged on top of the lattes and Cappacinos,freindly staff and good ambience made for a pleasant atmosphere...

i enjoy visiting Costa Park Pemberton - i enjoy costa coffee and the staff are always helpful my only complaint would be it can get noisy sometime when full and the music is playing

Friendly and welcoming staff, efficiently served coffee and properly steamed milk. Too many baristas make frothy and giant bubbled milk, when the trick is to have smooth milk like white emulsion pain. This coffee was served the proper way and with a smile.

Granddaughter was off school due to teacher training and I was looking after her. Took her to Costa as a treat. Great service as usual

My wife and I popped in at the end of the lunch hour for light refreshments. It was extremely busy so we were expecting a delay. It didn't happen, everything was very efficiently dealt with. The order was taken, the toastie cooked and delivered and the drinks made. It was a really smooth operation. Well done, we had a great time.

Not a bad place to go for a friendly face to serve you with your favourite coffee. A nice sized establishment with a nice relaxing seating area outside.

Love Costa, when I visit they are always welcoming and treat you like a friend, even if you've never been before. I love the fact I just 'know' what i'm getting when I go there.

Esto es para Costa con Odeon en Llanelli no te saldría. Normalmente tienen un gran servicio pero hoy! Servido por un joven muy alto con pelo oscuro grueso azul. con una camiseta. Yo hubiera tomado su nombre pero muy grosero como él mantuvo su espalda encendida todo el tiempo me hizo mi latte hablando con la chica. Poner el café en la barra, ni siquiera una sonrisa! Café con leche era tan ligera como una pluma, cuando miré todas espuma no líquido terrible. Director me hicieron una nueva. horrible! Ni siquiera una disculpa.

I called here with friends on a Saturday afternoon. Three of us had tea and one person had a juice. Although the tea is on the expensive side at £2 yo do get more than one cup with the teapot Costa provides. It was relatively quiet for a Saturday and there were plenty of tables to sit at. The tables were clean and staff were friendly. I would call here again when in the area.

What's it about ,nice coffee but slow service staff looking busy but not doing much who's in charge just bunch...

Vine aquí para un aperitivo con mi abuela. Bastante tranquilo, aunque era miércoles, y el personal era amable. El café era como se esperaba. La comida fue traído a nuestra mesa, tuve la sandwichera de queso y tomate y era mejor que el de M&S.; Ya que no estaba ocupado, quizás debería haber sido uno de los miembros de mesas de personal liquidación ya que eran numerosas las bandejas y tazas de un empujón en los divisores mesas vacías y pared. Incluyendo todas las mesas de dentro, que van desde mesas y sillas para sofás, también hay un montón de asientos fuera, lo cual es perfecto para el ocasional tiempo soleado en Llanelli no te saldría. En general, el café es siempre maravilloso aquí, la típica cafetería.

It's not often a bad brew and toastie happens. This was normal standard...grest drink, great toastie and cake....the gulls were outside and entertaining the customers inside. Good snack !

The staff in this Costa are always friendly and very polite ! They are always helpful and know to treat customers! We had a sandwich and a toasted sandwich as a quick snack very tasty and was better they were half price because of time of day!Nice caramel latte and a plain latte!

My daughter and I visited the branch one afternoon after school! Had a catchup and a nice warm latte and babycinno and a mini flake! They are always welcoming and polite in this branch and it always very clean! We had comfortable seats and it was relaxing and a great place it is one of our favourite Costa coffee shops

we come here often to meet and have a relaxing chat-coffee excellent and lemon tarts to die for. Busy place but we always seem to be lucky with getting a table. Staff pleasant and toilets clean what more could you want?

Such a nice surprise to be greeted and chatted to in a personal way. Nothing was too much trouble etc. This Costa is well located in Pemberton Retail Park

One coffee, in a take away cup. Normal Costa service, normal Costa product. Not much else to say, it's a coffee. Location probably helps it's popularity.

Nice location with outside seating if fine.Great staff with a friendly and willing manager who seems to get on very well with his staff.Typical Costa with plenty of variation with staff very helpful to explain any new drinks etc.

Nice coffee shop,,most staff are cheerful and helpful. Food is quite expensive, but the coffee is really good. Would recommend.

I asked for Chai, It was horrible the new staff has obviously not trained properly. She didn't know what colour it should be it was white when she first poured it even though I had asked for it stronger when I stopped her and asked for stronger she grumbled. I then asked for cup to be full at which she replied she wasn't allowed. At which other staff over ruled and filled it. As she poured I saw lumps of chai mix from the bottom in completely not mixed. I tried to swirl it but never got the drink I wanted it was so weak. Horrible and wouldn't go back going to go to cafe Nero or coffee 1

Apart from excellent coffee and fare the staff and management are the most pleasant and helpful.Prices are typical but the friendly nature of staff makes this one exceptional.Whether on your own with friends or business I can strongly recommend

This coffee shop can get busy and getting a table for us was a problemas we were over 6 in total.Coffee good and reasonable

Stopped in for a quick drink, on holiday from England, allowed me to use my whitbread discount and had a beautiful peach lemonade! Two cappuccinos and a latte were also lovely :) great service too with a smile

my wife and I had ben shopping and fancied a coffee so in we went when the coffee came it was cool so my wife took it back, then I heard raised voices coming from the counter then my wife stormed out. I followed and asked what was wrong. She said I complained that the coffee wasn't warm enough the waitress wanted to charge me an extra 20p to warm it up so I told her what she could do with her coffee.

This is the usual type of Costa which is very busy. I have been several times in the last month and each time have been satisfied with the coffee and panini. Only once was the queue so large that it affected the service.

Nice surroundings, if you can get a table. Staff are pleasant and manager is attentive and friendly. However, I don't understand why the coffee always turns out different every time? How can a latte taste so different one day to the next? I thought there was an art to making coffee and being a barista but many, especially here seem so different in the ways they produce the coffee. For exams, a fiat white (according to the website) should have a decent amount of foamed milk on top but this only happens now and again. A latte should also have foam but sometimes it's like water and has a bitter taste. There's just no consistency unfortunately and that puts me off going there so often anymore. If the baristas are all taught to make a certain coffee / drink in a specific way, how is it they don't follow that? Is it just a case of, it's busy, let's get these customers served ASAP?.....

If you've been to one you've been to them all. Having said that the staff are pleasant friendly and helpful. I love Costa coffee so won't knock that but the recent change in the cakes is appalling - there is nothing there that really tempts me - bring back the banana and pecan loaf PLEASE! almond croissants are always good but not what I want in the afternoon!

Nice area for a coffee, usual standard of product expected from a Costa. Cakes and food products looked presentable. Staff were polite and efficient. Would be happy to visit again.

Busy Costa on the day I visited. Luckily I found a corner space next to the window and spent an hour on the iPad whilst sipping a luxury hot chocolate. Now there has to be a skill in producing properly hot chocolate, but unfortunately they have not acquired it here.The "chocolate" was of the sugary powdered variety and was not properly stirred. I once had some proper hot chocolate which consisted of chocolate made on the premises and heated to a liquid. Added to this was boiling hot milk; now that was luxury. I have also had hot chocolate in Spain. It was so thick I used a spoon to eat it.Costa, please make proper hot chocolate.

Usually pretty good but can be a let down with special promotions, tend to sell out before the offer starts.

The best coffee shop for a choice of tea, coffee, cappuccino, snacks , etc. . Great place to meet friends have a chat have a light lunch or fabulous choice in cakes .

Best coffee in town. Good range of other items including decent desserts. Very friendly and helpful staff. Still nice after working nearly 8 hours! Very handy if you're waiting for a bus or going to the cinema. Recommended.

Can't beat a chicken & bacon toasty and a creamy cooler. Lovely Friendly staff (they put up with my mum & sister.) definitely worth a visit.

Myself and boyf decided to have a latte and sandwich on a wet windy Friday lunch time.The air conditioning was too severe and so an icy chill greeted us.The tables that were free were stacked with dirty cups , glasses etc , I cleared my own table and wiped it.The wait to be served was long,thankfully neither of us were on a lunch break otherwise it would've been eaten by the Costa queue.The staff were slow to clear tables as customers left.We won't be returning.

Very long wait, my coffee and sandwich was fine but my wife's latte was sent back twice due to excessive coffee grounds in the glass.The three ladies working were either not quick enough or understaffed.Tables were uncleared for duration of visit, real shame as we used to use this branch regularly. Think we will stick to the one in Forestfach or Morriston for now.

Visited the Costa Coffee shop in Debenhams in Trostre Park earlier today. The guy who cleared our table was really helpful and so polite. His name was Tom. He told us he is there on a Jobcentre placement and has to do a full 40 hour week just for his dole. He should be given a job there. He was brilliant.

Bit slower than most of the costa's I've been to but worth the wait :) always the same excellent costa standard :) cannot fault it :)

Had a coffee and muffin before going to the cinema. Staff are always very pleasant and helpful. Tried the new skinny muffin and I must say I didn't like them as much as the other ones they used to sell.

My partner and Me stopped off at the Costa Coffee in llanelli to grab a quick bite to takeaway. I had a take away tea and my partner had a christmassy coffee. He lids weren't securely fitted and the thin cups meant the cups were too hot to hold. When we asked for another cup or a sleeve to hold the cups like they provide in Starbucks we were told to grab some serviettes instead. On the way out my partner tripped over the small step on the way out, his piping hot coffee went all over his hand! Branding themselves as the UK ' s most customer friendly company Is far from the truth. They shouldn't be allowed to serve the drinks so hot so unless you're dining in please be advised on the temperature they are serving the drinks with little protection!!

Parking is excellent - right outside the coffee shop. I arrived at 3.55pm on a week day,15 minutes before my friends. The place was nearly empty. The staff were pleasant enough but oh! such slow service that I felt as though I was invisible.Ten minutes wait for a simple cup of coffee with only two customers in front - and no apology - was simply not good enough.When the next friend arrived there was only one customer in front of her but she still waited almost ten minutes. The next two friends to arrive had no queue in front of them but the staff still took more than five minutes to prepare their coffees.We were all laughing at how awfully slow the staff were but it's actually quite a serious management problem.Also the entrance door doesn't shut properly so don't sit near it or you'll freeze to death.'Disappointing' is the word I would use in this instance.Next time I visit Pemberton I shall go back to the coffee shop in Dunelm Mill - almost next door to Costa - where the staff are rather more customer-focused.

Lovely lemon cake at the Llanelli Costa but there is never any lemon cake at other Costa outlets!! Its a lovely place to meet up with friends after work and unwind before going home and doing more work!!
