Costa Coffee in Blackpool

Great staff. Very welcoming. Worth a good coffee in a nice friendly environment. Very clean and well maintained . Clean toilets . Nothing was too much trouble

Always super busy, I have no idea why last visit I took I left before even stepping to the counter the place was full of flies around people and the coffee machines people's drinks and food. Staff have always been friendly in the past.

Staff member on till was rude when we asked about claiming our free cookie, that should have come up on his screen (I know how it works!) Couldn't be bothered arguing with him, clearly he wasn't going to admit he was wrong (which he definitely was!) The hot chocolate his colleague made was great though.

Great place, lovely helpful staff. Always bring our drinks to us due to mobility problems. Very clean and tidy except for toilets which seems to be a problem in all costa's Would help if general public who are not customers could be stopped using the toilets.

Nothing wrong with the food or service. Typical Costa Coffee, way overpriced.

Ask for a skinny latte had used the milk which they had used it for my friend who asked for a normal cappuccino they Haven’t change that milk and made it from the milk. My latte All the tables were dirty. It was a great experience.

Really impressed with the staff. A blind man came in and one staff member in particular was so helpful, no fuss, but amazing customer service without being asked. Costa should be proud.

Black Forest Hot Chocolate is sublime! Really enjoyed that. Sadly cannot say the same for the Sticky Toffee Latte as it was just a coffee.. disappointing from Costa

We visited this Costa a few times mainly because the staff are amazing! Such a lovely, friendly, helpful bunch and the drinks were great too! The restaurant was always clean even when they were really busy and tables cleared quickly.

I had a good welcome and ordered a large latte, with one shot out and a weak oat milk latte. Mine wasn't milky enough. Such a shame

Do not come here a very rude lady with blue hair that works here, said we could not sit down at a table coz someone left thier belongings unattended, Also my husband is muslim and that because he was wearing his traditional clothes she said we could not sit there, but she didn't bother saying anything to anyone else who was wearing traditional English clothes and we also saw customers moving people's unattended property and said nothing to them but you cannot reserve seats at a coffee store so if you leave ur belongings unattended be prepared for people to move them so they can have a seat and a coffee. Racism is not acceptable and my husband felt very insulted considering she said nothing to anyone else and my husband is a 5*author for amazon. Costa management should be ashamed of themselves for hiring racist and rude staff and should be given a course in customer service and etikit.

Absolutely shocking behaviour from team member SIMON. Slagging off ex colleagues saying they had left, some had gone to cafe nero, and they were **** anyway.... Down right rude to me when pointed out the breakfast wrap already had ketchup inside, therefore I didn't understand the need to ask me if I wanted ketchup or brown sauce. Literally the tone of voice was so condensinding it was unreal Once I then said I'd be taking my business elsewhere I got waved off and told goodbye don't come back. Honestly I had to look around as thought it was a hoax.... Avoid this terrible place and its untrained incompetent disrespectful childish team, at all costs. Literally left with my blood boiling

Visited another costa coffee while staying in blackpool . This was as filthy as the last there is a serious hygiene problem and the problem is the staff stand around chatting ignoring the filth. This dirt has not happened over night this is ground in and from daily neglect . Shame on all the staff that work there as I’m sure there are some cloths and cleaning materials there. Also shame on head office that there are no checks done please see pics . As you can see the door pic you would have to touch this to enter the toilet this is not from a day it’s built up dirt

We came to visit today and as we went to sit down on a table the server behind the till shouted and said they are full because the people at the till needed a table so we couldn't have it so I walked out as had children with me. He was a very rude gentleman and shouldn't be speaking to customers like that! We won't be returning

Coffee lovely as always. The chap who served us (tall with short blond hair, no name badge... Wonder why) was quite rude. I was using reward coffees accrued through the app. He asked what size. I said I wasn't sure which size I was allowed to use with the reward. He just abruptly repeated 'small medium or large.' Just seemed really annoyed at us. Other staff arguing behind the counter. Bad vibes.

Bring back the black forest gautiax drink for Xmas and a salted caramel one

My Just Eat order was never delivered. Although,after 90 minutes, my app suggested it had been. Very disappointed with the service, can’t comment on the food…

When I questioned when the last time the milk jug had been cleaned (which had been brought out from the back and looked like it hadn’t been washed all day) I was told that it was clean even though it was disgusting enough to be noticed and questioned, I asked them to just refund me. Three members of staff laughed at me and one swore at me as he refunded me. I went round the corner to Starbucks which was clean and the staff didn’t swear at me.

Visited the Houndshill Costa Coffee Shop this afternoon. We had to start for almost 10 minutes waiting for a table after we got our food as people had kept tables rather than going for their food first and then finding a table. Regards the staff, the male member of staff who served us had the personality of a tea bag to be honest. It was a hot enough day and we had been walking and had asked for a cup of ice for our cold drinks which appeared to be met with a grunt. The food was fine and the cafe generally tidy. Would happily recommend to anyone looking for a quick cup of coffee provided there are seats available and the staff in a better mood.

Houndshill shopping centre Costa- online it says Costa opens at 10 it is now 15minutes past and I am still waiting, the man in the shop has seen myself and not remotely bothered to come and let me know what time he’s deciding to open, I have been waiting since just before ten and if Costa doesn’t open at ten like it says online then someone needs to make customers aware

This is one of the better/newer Costa facilities. Clean and well laid out. As usual, a great coffee personally made and tasty.

Ordered cappuccino which was terrible. It turned into coffee with milk after 5 minutes, they put a dollop of chocolate powder on top. Very unprofessional! I did complain and they offered to make another one however all were in training and there was only one barista present.. who was not really overseeing. Terrible experience. Do not go here.

We just popped in for a couple of coffees and waited almost 20 minutes. 2 groups behind us were served with their orders first despite us only having coffee and they had food too. We saw our tray being passed about while waiting and tried to tell the counter staff but they were too busy taking more orders. When we finally got our drinks there was no apology for the wait and they were quite flippant. Having said that, the coffee was good and the place was lovely inside. Guess we were just unlucky on this occasion.

Friendly staff, polite and efficient. Coffee not as warm as I would like. Only issue, staff look like something from the Rocky Horror Show

staff was over confident i felt showing off a little whilst talking over young female staff member and speaking fast and not as polite as used to be , wasn't over busy and took a while to make one hot drink when received it it was burnt like and left a terrible taste on my pallet , staffs aptitudes just felt like didn't care and showing off , big shame will not return to this branch in definite

It was a very hot day and I needed I a nice refreshing drink to cool me down. I ordered a lemon and ginger ice tea and all I can saw it was like drinking toothpaste it was bloody awful. I have had better lemon and ginger tea in the past.

Want into Costa blackpool what I did notice the staff are all men which is amazing normally it's women but the guys were very good at there job thanks for making me feel welcome

Visited on Monday 8 August about 11.15am and the guys and girl who served us were all lovely. So friendly, polite, cheerful and helpful. I had an iced latte, my mum had a hot chocolate and my daughter had one of the frappes. They were all delicious, and I do confess Nero is my normal go to, so I’ll definitely head there again next time.

A good place for meeting up with people in a relaxed atmosphere. The staff are very welcoming and friendly too which is refreshing.

They do a very good cup of tea. Unusual for a coffee shop the tea is made with boiling water and served in individual china teapots

Plenty of choice compared to Costa in church st but customer service is poor compared to church st which might explain level of goods. Everything thrown at you and the staff are just not helpful. Hopefully church st gets its orders correct next time

What can I say about Costa Coffee, one of the bet known coffee shops on the GB High Street, absolute best customer service, very friendly, having be an ex Blackpool resident can much recommend Costa Coffee Just wish I could be back in Blackpool, I long for that Northern way of life, life in Blackpool absolute fabulous if you have the money to buy a house or flat in Blackpool do IT, I am looking to go back to live in Blackpool again miss Blackpool so much

I visited this place two days ago with a friend, and if we'd examined the seats on arrival, we would have left!! It seems to be the same in all Costa Coffee Houses in Blackpool, the seats are dirty and stained, the floors need sweeping and overall they need an overhaul. DISGUSTING, DISGRACEFUL and we will not be back until drastic changes are made ☹️☹️☹️☹️

Nice place to stop, when you've shopped out N' take a break for 30 minutes for afternoon coffee or just chill 😎 before the tram or bus dew to come to take you home, nice staff always warm and welcoming and thank you for your visit

The staff were very friendly, and the tea & coffees were nice. Shame the oven was broken which meant they couldn’t serve any hot food.

Very rude man. I was so shocked the way I was spoken to when I arrived. There was no queue when I arrived. The man serving however delighted in telling me that there was someone else before me and I must wait for him to be served. I looked around and a man suddenly appeared (back from his table) to complete his order. Fair enough but I was told like I should have known this. All he had to say was "I'm just serving someone, won't be long". I'd have had absolutely no problem with that, instead this man thought I should be some kind of mind reader. There are ways of speaking to people and this Costa employee hasn't a clue. Needless to say I just walked out and took my custom elsewhere.

The two male members of staff were impeccable, couldn't do enough , they went above and beyond their line of duty , food was hot and service was quick , was a pleasure to eat there .

In the shopping centre in Blaclpool it was very busy but we were dealt with quickly by friendly efficient staff.

Not a lot of choice cake wise, tables hadn't been wiped as drinks had been spilt.

Coffee was lukewarm. Asked them to warm it up it came back no better. Drinking coffee out can be expensive especially when theres a few of you. So im not in a hurry to go back.

Exactly like every other Costa Coffee shop I frequent which is exactly how it should be. Nice friendly staff and a good range of drink and food.

Went in to get a coffee and a sandwich as my wife had just finished work this was at 16:55, we were refused to be served any sandwiches as the manager said they were closing at 17:30, it doesn't take 35 minutes to have a coffee and eat a sandwich. We decided to just get a drink my wife was allowed a packet of crisps, I ordered an After eight hot chocolate but was served it minus the after eight. The worst thing was o soap to wash hands in the only toilet as it is unisex. This is totally unacceptable under the circumstances of a Covid pandemic

No toilet roll. No soap. No clean cups had to have takeaway cups. Staff seemed stressed and overworked. Not their fault.

Quick service but too small, they need to expand or get a bigger unit it's too cramped inside.

Very busy seemed short staff with 1 server making the drinks and the other 2 running round cleaning the tables and working the till, but they were still really kind and welcoming but the wait was too long but that wasn't the Staff members fault, come on Costa help them out a little!!!!!
