Staff were extremely helpful in helping me find a drink and extremely kind also. I ordered a kinder hot chocolate and it was ready within minutes. When I went to drink it, it was the perfect temperature, not too hot, and not cold either. The baristas could not have been more kind and they even added extra sprinkles to my drink. Absolutely amazing service and friendly people too, worth a visit.

We were in the City Centre and stopped off in Costa. Great Customer Service in this Branch and very popular with locals by the look of it. Good Costa Style Menu with some good choices on both Drinks and Food. We ordered Latte, Flat White, a couple of Hot Chocolates and a Babycino for the Grand-Daughter. Very smooth as Costa always is and at a decent price.

I came at peak time on a Tuesday. It was very busy, yet Lauren greeted is with joy and enthusiasm. She was excited that our did was discounted, she offered to warm our cups for us and was really friendly and talkative. Rarely do you meet someone who loves that job as she clearly does. She was making conversation with all of her customers, which makes you want to buy more and add an extra cake on your tray. I loved my experience and she hand delivered our special hot chocolate so we could eat oue food. What a little gem Costa !!

I’m based in Torbay, and rarely visit Plymouth because of work commitments etc. However, I had a week to myself, which is why I decided to return to Plymouth and was the first time since the weekend before Christmas and glad I did. I wanted somewhere to stop for a late-ish lunch and knew I wanted to go to Costa, but could not decide which one due to there being many in this city. I chose this one as the atmosphere seemed nice. The staff, including the young lady who served me were the nicest I’ve met and were very full of life and cheerfulness. They had EXACTLY what I wanted in stock and had it ready for me within a couple of minutes of me paying!! Seating was very well spaced, so I felt really safe being able to sit down, relax and enjoy my lunch. Will most certainly be returning to this particular Costa when I am next in the Plymouth area and definitely recommend this to everybody I know. Thanks so much!!

If you are looking for a Coffee & Snack then Costa is a good choice. Very good selection of both Food & Drinks together with good friendly customer service all adds up to a positive experience. We enjoyed a Latte & Cappucino.

This cafe isn’t as nice as some of the other Costas in Plymouth.....it seems rather basic looking, even though it was the latest one to appear on the High Street. Anyway we like Costa coffee so decided, as we were passing to go in. My daughter queued up for coffees and muffins while I attempted to find a table that didn’t have mess and rubbish on the floor around it! Also many seats were stained and dirty which was rather off putting. The coffees were good, although the muffin wasn’t as fresh as I have had at other Costas. The tables were being cleared quite quickly, in fact the young man cleared ours while we were still drinking our coffees! Shame he didn’t look at the floor!

Called in on a Monday early afternoon for coffee with my daughters and everywhere was dirty, a lot of the tables were dirty and the floors were disgusting also bits of food on the chairs, it is without doubt the dirtiest costa I have been in.

I would never go back again I wish I could give 0 star let me start with the staff cleanliness, since when is it okay to serve food while checking your mobile messages? since when is it okay to serve food with untrimmed very dirty nails! the table was full of dirt cups and plates.......... the number is endless... I would blame the management I'm sure the manager us aware of these but choose to give a blind eye. I won't go back there again good luck to who do

Standard costa, cappuccino & latte. Sat at a window seat with dirty cups & cutlery, which was removed but they never came back to wipe the table which was covered. So had to drink of the tray. Doesn’t feel as welcoming as offer costas

My husband and I went into this Costa today and I was very disappointed with the state of the place and the cleanliness. It needs a damn good clean. The tables were dirty the window sills were filthy. This was late morning and I shouldn't think its been cleaned for a while. I have been in others in Plymouth and they are not like this one.

It was very busy when we visited and we saw people walk in and back out again when they could find nowhere to sit, but the coffees were up to the usual standard. The only comment I would make is that there was a young person sat in the corner, using her laptop, who looked set up for the day, she had a takeaway coffee which she did not touch whilst we were there, so presumably she had finished this some time before. The staff should ask people to move on, when they had clearly finished and were only using the place as an office, to enable others to purchase drinks and sit down! This was on our second visit that day, unable to find anywhere to sit earlier and the same person was there on the first visit.

We love to visit here for a coffee, we are now that regular when my husband goes to the order the barista knows our order. It's lovely and central a perfect meeting place which is also spacious. Nothing is too much trouble and staff make us feel very welcome. The new snack packs for kids will fast become a favourite for our boys.

We had a while to wait for our train home and decided to stop here for a coffee, which was around 5:30 pm, the toilets were not well kept and used crockery was left on tables. The service was good and the coffee up to Costa's normal standard, the state of the place could be due to it being later in the day, however it did let this down, which was a shame

Great coffe and snack pre show at the Theatre. I would have given five stars if takeaway cups were recyclable.

I wish Costa Coffee franchises were more fun and a bit less expensive. This one is a bit bigger than mist in Plymouth and there is more space allocated on the pavement for sitting outside when there weather is mild. But it’s a bland uninteresting way to kill time. The site would be good for a good quality hot and cold food cafe with wine and beer, maybe along the lines of a relaxed brasserie were you could linger over a value lunch with a half decent drink for a chunk of time. As it is you have to gaze across at a defunct pound shop, the clearance sale at the doomed department store and the trailing groups of European language students milling around aimlessly for lack of entertainment or action.

Costa Coffee has a number of Outlet in and around the Plymouth Area, this one in the City Centre is located in an ideal position and one of the larger Coffee Shops. Standard Coffee & Snack Menu & Prices as you would find in the majority of Costa Outlets. Good Service, Good Prices and most importantly Good Coffee.

It's a Costa, they're all the same. Friendly staff and nice and clean. Not much else to say.

Typically great brewdog atmosphere and like normal the bar staff have good music taste. Impressive guest drinks selection, and awesome food menu. Love the buffalo sauce they use here. Really do like the atmosphere. If the drinks were a little cheaper I’d sit and drink for hours.

Ordering a takeaway with my kids, you have nowhere to wait, then you get pushed out of the way by other customers, then when your order is ready, you can't get it. Because of the customers. And students 🤦🏻♂️ staff are awesome, super friendly.

Avoid at all costs. Unpleasant people who have no idea of a community pub. No care in the world other than themselves.

We booked for Sunday lunch at Mayflower Brasserie, and having attended a wedding at the hotel, were looking forward to our lunch. We had duck pate to start and it was lovely, but to be honest you can’t go wrong with a slice of toast, a dollop of pate, a spoonful of onion marmalade and a micro greens garnish. Very tasty. We waited 20 minutes for our main of beef wellington. Unfortunately we both had to send the food back as it was barely warm and not pleasant to eat. Another long wait and new plates arrived. They were warmer than the first but far from hot food. We ate it and it was very tasty. Then came deserts. We ordered apple tart with clotted cream. Unfortunately it came with ice cream instead of clotted cream. As if we needed more cold food! I removed the ice cream and ate the tart. It was delicious but very small. When we paid they had given us our drinks free to compensate for the cold mains, and discounted the price of the tarts to compensate for the serving error. Overall, I am disappointed with my Sunday lunch. Service was exceptional but the food was a let down. Cold, small portions, and not as described on the menu. Even with the discounts our bill was over £100 for the two of us! We went home and had a sausage sandwich as we both still felt hungry. Needless to say, We shan’t go again
