Busy coffee shop. Typical costa, and a good one

I've had to switch off "suggested reviews, for places visited" because most of them, I haven't.

Would have been 5 star all round but the queues were awful

Nice for a coffee while shopping. Staff are nice but the place isn't clean. There are dirty tables and used crockery on tables. Food debris and paper on floor. Staff don't seem to have the time to clean the place up. Most Costas these days are messy and not as clean as they used to be. It's very off-putting sitting in someone else's mess especially when children have dropped food everywhere. They need staff to keep it clean.

Nice to dine after a bus journey and shopping.

Love their coffee, always value for money. Didn't eat there but food smelled delicious

Hannah screamed at baby for playing with spoon shouting tell him to stop we were so embarrassed and the baby was screaming we had to leave and other customers came up to us saying that it was terrible he was only having fun

Once again, tables not cleared. Empty cups and plates and bif of food on tables and floor. Even when the customer clears the table split drinks and dropped food remain

I was annoyed by the assistant who used one of my free drinks without asking me when I didn't want to use them. He the told me that he couldn't put it back on my account. Very disappointing service.

Great Coffee but seriously let down on Vegan front... Told they have Vegan just not right now lol. So basically, nothing I can eat on the filled Cake or Sandwich racks🤦🏼‍♀️🥺. Talk about feeling excluded?! Coffees for Christmas is a welcome step up - Vegan whipped cream and edible glitter is a WOW.

Why oh why when 2 hours before closing are we only offered take out cups every time I come! Always rammed and some staff are rude.

Freezing cold in here. Air conditioning far too high. Very uncomfortable and unpleasant. Why do they have it so high? Not necessary unless very hot outside.

What's happened to the Lemon Muffins? non to be had in any branch I've been to in the last couple of months. UPDATE: I had to have a blueberry muffin, once I had started to eat it they topped up the lemon ones 😋 😅 Crisis averted! Lemon muffins back on the shelves. Tasty as always.

Great Costa. Very friendly day and helpful staff. 🙂 Food does tend to be less available as the day goes by. Busy restaurant but staff are really good and cleaning constantly.

Not sure whats happening to this costa it used to be good, its always busy but never seem to have enough staff to cope, the drive thru store on other side is just as busy but seems to run a lot smoother and more efficient than here

EDIT: About 2 years ago the Drive Thru Costa went really downhill and I avoided it like the plague! No idea what changed, maybe management? But it's so much better! Food and drinks are back to a quality I would expect and the staff are lovely and friendly.

Called at 9 am this morning 27th to the Bromborough store. The Manager ? was so happy and welcoming. Really cheered us up. If he isn't a Manager he certainly should be ...thank you 👍💖

To the women who was serving me this morning, give it up, you burnt your hands multiple times trying to get a large cup out from under the coffee pourer. Even I know your supposed to use cups to pour out the coffee in an Americano. It was highly frustrating to watch and ruined my morning coffee because it was so weak from you spilling it over the place. Shame because I had a good experience here the previous week

Coffee n cake. What's not to like?

Usually love there salted caramel frappe,except for the weekends when the same staff member makes it and ends up right in the bin when it gets home to me! Tastes like water ,uses far to much ice ! Needs training properly. money wasted as usual🙄

Went for early morning coffee and toast. Staff are brilliant, especially when a mix up occurred with one of our drinks. Definitely recommend 👍

Called in to meet a friend. Surprised the couch in the corner was empty. Wow it usually has someone sitting there. Walked over and a smell of fly spray got me. When I sat down there were flys buzzing around me loads dead on the windowsill. I left and moved to another table. Exactly the same. As I was waiting for my friend the amount of flys flying around was unnerving. Constantly having to waft away. I then thought why so many flys ? Looking around the floor was littered with half eaten sandwiches & crumbs and looked like it hadn’t been mopped in over 24 hours. No way would I have felt comfortable drinking or eating so when my friend arrived we left. Please note the staff all seem young and I have never noticed this problem as bad in other eateries. ALSO THIS IS THE COSTA DRIVE THROUGH AT BROMBOROUGH CROFT AVE. DO NOT get it mixed up with the 1st original Costa on the shopping complex on Croft Bromborough.

Tried this Costa on Tuesday and I must say it was a great disappointment. I was served by a rather strange young man with a beard who juggled with the crockery and then dropped it all! Took him three attempts to get my order right and he constantly chatted to others as he messed things up. He also seemed to spend his time flirting with pensioners!! I know some people are fans of this Costa but not me. Just give good service and don't act like a puppy on speed ! The toilets were amongst the worst I have seen..if you run a cafe clean them I won't return

Still the same great coffee and now they have M&S food, I personally liked it before they M&S sandwiches, it was better quality and it was tasty

Generally OK, pleasant staff, fast service, but often when we go to the drive thru there end up being food items not available. Also went later in the day one time at 6.45 and they were already locked up. Meant to be open until 7. Kind of annoying when you've timed your errands to get done, get there in time and they've already locked the doors. There were four more customers who wanted in too and they were annoyed also. With me and my mother, that's 6 sales lost. I didn't make a big fuss, but posted times are there for a reason.

I am a regular visitor to Costa Coffee at The Croft, Bromborough where it is always a treat and pleasure to visit. The staff are wonderful particularly Cameron who is so friendly and caring and ensures that not only myself and family are looked after brilliantly but we have noticed how wonderful he is with all the customers making everyone welcome and at ease. The coffee is superb and the food is always a treat.

Good. Sometimes can be hit or miss, with their hot chocolates however - my partner and I find sometimes the staff can add a tad too much powder and the drink is too chocolately for our tastes! But their teas/coffees are generally quite nice. Coolers can also be hit or miss; sometimes too melted and not slushy/icey enough.

I just got turned away from this Costa, claiming it was closed at 3.55pm.It quite clearly wasn't as customers are sitting inside and the Web site says it's open till 6pm. I am disappointed with Costa and its staff today and have taken my custom to Starbucks,who are open.

We are regular visitors to Costa in bromborough we find the shop clean and the staff excellent would recommend to anyone well done bromborough xx

All the staff at the Costa Coffee, The Croft, Bromborough, are excellent, caring and helpful at all times; particularly Cameron who always has a ready smile and excellent service. I am 82 years old and am always treated as if I were a family member and the service is exemplary. Costa Coffee can be very proud of their staff and coffee which is excellent and always an enjoyable treat for me when I visit. A GOLD STAR thank you to everyone.
