Costa Coffee in Vale of White Horse

Delivery time was fine, however the food had clearly been sitting waiting and was all freezing cold and sandwiches/rolls were stone cold and hard.

it took 90mins to arrive and was pretty cold but once reheated it tasted ok. won't order again

delivery time great. missed a whole meal from the order and all you get is a refund. not great since one of us is then left hungry, which is the entire thing using this app is meant to solve.

Great shops, lots of variety’s .. staff are amazing always welcoming with big smile and helpful.

Very unfriendly, rude and stressed staff (there was no reason to be stressed, only 2-3 customers) and a chemical odour in the shop. We also didn’t get what we ordered, asked cappuccino without chocolate, but cappuccino tasted like chocomel due to over excessive amount of chocolate powder. Even my children asked me why the woman behind the counter was so unfriendly.

Missing foil safety lid, bag not sealed up so anyone could have got the contents out. Drink spilt and could not guarantee it had not been tampered with so decided not to risk drinking it and had to throw it away.

Best vegan cheesecake ever!!!!!. Could we please have more vegan lunch options like this? Friendly staff and plenty of seats. Good internet for working.

Completely wheelchair accessible Costa with an exceptionally high standard of hygiene and a casual, calm atmosphere. Costa is a chain so you come to expect a certain standard but this one sits way above the usual standard for this chain. It's always immaculately clean and calm and well managed. The environment is calm, even romantic and the music is set at a reasonable level.

Very disappointed experience. A medium capucino really strong, without any foam. The staff looked tired, bored and rude. Please don’t go there!!

Called in for a coffee while driving home on the A34. Decent size Costa, good coffee, and plenty of choice of cakes etc.

Forgot my pastry and I ordered a large drink which is stated clearly on the receipt but have been given a medium.

Love to visit often and enjoy the coffee as well as to be socialize speak to someone and see differrent faces, smile while buying coffee.

The staff are very nice but they need to replace the washing up machine. Sick of being given dirty cutlery for my food and grubby glasses. Tried three knives today, all were filthy. And there was what looked like beard stubble in my lemon tart.

Smooth and great service today. You can definitely see they’ve been busy. (Tesco’s tills we’re down) Some tables were still messy, but I understand when you don’t have time to clear tables and serve an on going flow of customers! So as customers we need to try to be grateful and patients. Keep going with the good work guys!! Some days are crazier than others!

Too many errors by this Costa Coffee!! I wanted a simple cappuchino and 2 saussage baps, you have no problem in taking my money for it, yet when it arrives i have just the cappuchino! DISGRACEFUL!!!

UPDATE!! I went in today with a friend. As I approached the counter the store manager was serving, as soon as he looked at me he shouted at me and humiliated me in front of he’s staff and customers!! I kept my cool and pretended to ignore him. You Sir have an attitude that needs changing very fast! According to other reviews I am not the 1st to complain about your attitude towards customers! I would like to kindly remind you that you are a store manager for a franchise you are NOT the owner to think you can talk to customers like they are garbage! I would highly suggest you do some training on customer service. The fact you accused me of something that wasn’t said was crazy! My previous REVIEW was directly at YOU and not your team, they have always served us politely which I take they haven’t learnt from you! Because your no example of a team leader. I surely do hope I never have to serve you in my business because I will definitely treat you the same. Hopefully you take this as an experience and not with an attitude like you did today. . Absolutely appalling service! The fact they think it’s okay for customers to sit down with the door wide open at 4 degrees! When I asked the manager if I could close the door as it was freezing. He was rude and had the worst attitude I’ve ever seen! He’s reply was NO Im hot behind here! People go to have a coffee to warm up not sit there being cold.

I ordered sparkling water but got still - this is not the first time - only get sparkling if I write in the driver comments. Just read the order properly!

This order was actually great, it arrived early and was all good. THIS bad review is today 5th December... I ordered the same again....waited over an hour and they then cancelled the order! Won't order again from Costa now.

A packet of crisps was missing from my order despite being charged £1.50 for them! This is not the first time items have been missed from my order with no explanation and I have still been charged

Very slow service and staff not as friendly as in other locations I have visited - I was ignored for a while then finally served.

Awful when you spend 30 on food you expect it all to be ther when over half of it is missing and you need to drive down ther defeats the object of spending the money in the first place because you didn't have time to make something why working from home beyond fuming that if you work somewhere like that read the order properly and get it right the first time then thay refuse to give you what you paid for discussing costumer care just isn't a thing any more

Great coffee, refreshing tea & lovely cakes + smashing service from polite and efficient staff.

I did do to this store most days but after the manager told me I could no longer ask for half a small cup of cold milk rather than a baby chino and received a bit of attitude I haven't been back. I tried to contact Costa over the issue but they haven't replied to any of my complaints.

Lemon muffin and new bubble mango drink is what I ordered. I received a caramel muffin and no bubbles in my drink.

Service was absolutely ridiculous!! I was waiting 10mins before even being served. Worker acknowledged I was there but didn’t serve. I have to ask to be served.. when she did serve me she had such a bad attitude on her. Lady with brades in her hair. Service with a smile would have been nice.. absolutely appalling!!!!

I have never had a bad experience at a Costa coffee shop, and this one does not disappoint. The drinks and food served are highly thought of and I encourage people to try it out and enjoy a great experience. Staff are wonderful, and it's clear to see that they care about great quality customer service too.

We were missing 3 items off our order!

Called in to this store today for my caffeine fix, really friendly staff my Flat white was lovely absolutely spot on. There were plenty ot seats outside so sat in the sunshine and enjoyed my coffee and a blueberry muffin what more could I say bliss.

Food was cold and late and soggy!

Purchased coffee and hot toastie. Unfortunately the toastie was really tough... crusts like concrete.. I took it back for replacement to be told that its cooked on a timer, so same for all toasties! Whilst that may of been correct, the customer service was lacking. The guy who dealt with the issue wasnt very polite and left me feeling like a nusiance. A shame as my first visit, in the end I just requested a refund to save them any more trouble and left...

Ordered a total of 6 items … only 2 of the items we received were correct. The store didn’t even call to see if we would like any replacements, just took it upon themselves to send out whatever they wanted. Very very disappointed.

I was told that my payment had not gone through so was asked to put my card back in but they took two payments and now they won't help me to get my money back so I have paid £12.60 for two lattes. I definitely won't be going back to Costa again

Standard Costa experience, nothing remarkable to report. Staff were friendly and polite and it was nicely setup inside for social distancing.
