Coffee on Christmas day morning while traveling up for dinner. Love having a stop here whilst being on route

Just had the absolute pleasure of being greeted by and served by a beautiful young lady called ELLIE. Ellie has single handedly managed to lift my spirits after a hard night shift at 4am. I was even more impressed when i learnt that she too was at the end of a night shift yet still able to be so energetic and pleasant to be around! Ellie your a bundle of joy and I sincerely hope our paths cross again! Thanks, The coach driver with the mixed frappé :) x

Northside costa, really lovely staff. Great service, great atmosphere. Place was really clean and quiet. Drinks were top notch. Had a salted caramel frappe and it was delicious. By far my favourite costa to stop at.

The breakfast bap was underwhelming, never again.

It's a Costa. It dies what it says on the tin. Always top notch coffee & service.

Bought a Chocolate Fudge Brownie frappe and was given something that tastes like sugared milk and ice, not even a hint of chocolate or fudge or brownie. When i smelt the cream on top it smelt weird and spoilt and in the end had to throw it away. Very disappointed with this Costa branch as they don’t live up to standards.

Bad experience. I asked for iced cynamon bun latte with oat milk. Came with normal milk 👀 After four minutes I realised it’s a wrong one. Guy ( whatever he was) started to argue with me. Bad attitude really bad…

Stood in a queue waiting to be served. Next to be served and just because someone who came in after me, and used the preoder system . They got served before, what's the point in queueing up. The staff where great....just the system sucks!!!!!

Disappointed with service, I asked for both my 50oz mugs to be filled and they didn't know what size there own large cups hold, In the end I ordered a hazelnut latte 3 shots and a sticky toffee latte 3 shots and there was no taste to them what so ever they was bland and tasted like had no syrup in them, When I advised them they tasted like a normal latte there response was ' it does and am wrong' They're happy enough to take my money but not give me the correct order. Should of travelled that bit further for a coffee

Really nice servers, perfect bubble tea (a welcome change from coffee on a long drive) and a pup-cup for spoiled paws.

Ordered Milk Tea but was served Green Tea 🤣. Oh well, it is a hot drink after all.

Service station Costas are always a bit hit and miss . This is the first time I've used this particular one and it wasn't great . Service was slow even though place was relatively empty and staff weren't particularly friendly .

Visited the north bound Costa in April 2023. Ordered two hot chocolates, a latte and a rocky road. We was given takeaway servings when we was clearly sitting on site. Also they never asked for my rewards app so I missed out. Hot chocolate had loads of air so the actual drink was small and the coffee was ok. 2 stars due to takeaway cups and missing out on rewards.

Drinks and food ok but tables and floor dirty. Wasn't busy- no other customers and 3 staff leant again counter when we arrived

Coffee not great, not costa normal standard and price was ridiculous, nearly a fiver for a standard cappuccino,

Absolutely dreadful tasting Latte,couldn't even drink it ,complete waste of money my last coffee ever at Costa

Slow service, when eventually reached the front of the queue the barista coughed into their hands wiped them on their front and didn't wash them. Needless to say I left without purchasing a drink, poor hygiene on display to customers imagine what is behind the counter.

The quality of the hot drinks in this Costa are poor! Two times I’ve been in here and both times my latte has been plane tasting. Not sure what they do differently to other Costa’s but the Lattes are not right! When they cost £4-5 a drink they have got to be spot on!

Fairly average Costa coffee. There was the normal good range of different cakes, sandwiches and sweet treats. Staff were friendly and the whole place seemed quite relaxing.

Terrible experience if you ask me. When my order was taken the cash machine crashed but that can happen right? I was waiting for my coffee next to the till when I realized the staff served other 2 customers after me and they forgot about me and my order completely; that can happen too RIGHT?? I asked: Where is my coffee? They answered with "Ohhh what did you ordered??" Anyway, took 1 min to do coffee and here it comes, when she put the lid on, a fountain was created as the coffee was spilled all over the cup and lid hole, and that came with an unsurprised laughter from the staff, and no apologies. Hand it to me without even wiping it. There you go Happy Christmas!! Put that in your car cupholder. He heee. And this is how I wasted my 30 min break, buying a coffee and complain about the service. Amazing experience but happy to share.

Based on two visits, sunday evening (same staff). 1. Customer service - non existent. 2. Coffees mediocre. 3. Hot chocolate is like water with all the goodness settled at the bottom. 4. Croissant heated in oven and served burnt. Like really really burnt. Only noticed once opened bag in car — returned to complain, no apology. Won’t be using this Costa again for sure.

My phone was handed in after I left it. I was back in London and the staff couldn't have been more helpful informing my family then getting it ready for collection by parcelforce for me. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you

Stale pastries at midday in a busy service station is unforgivable

Fajita wrap was cold. They were clearly taking orders too quickly which meant everyone was crowded round the area to collect drinks/hot food. Forgot about the peach ice tea I ordered. When I asked for it the lady serving did not put the lid on properly which caused it to spill everywhere which I picked it up. She saw it happen and didn’t care.

The staff here were so kind and patient, really excellent customer service.

At Trowell services yesterday, after being broken down, and stood on the side of the motorway freezing for 3hrs, the Costa coffee team looked after me and my partner perfectly with a free hot drink and a coat to wrap around me whilst waiting for a taxi! You made a horrible experience so much nicer. You really made our day, and we can't thank you enough! I thank you with all of my heart ♥

Thank you to the wonderful people that work at Trowell Costa for their kindness and help a few days back. It was early morning and after having my coffee I left the place without taking my bag. They kept my bag safe and saved me from the pain of renewing the driving licence and several bank cards... Wonderful coffee and fist class staff. Thank you Costa team!

I am a fan of Costa coffee although some outlets are better than others. This one has friendly and efficient staff and a large seating area.

The girl making my coffee said in a loud voice. I hate it when people watch me make coffee. Think she is in the wrong job.

Happy place. Better than better known franchise outlets.

Coffee was so sour not even sugar could do anything to it. I wanted to leave it and have a refund but my partner was in a hurry so we just put up with this sh***. Place was messy and dirty as well: there wasn't a single table that wasn't sticky or covered in dirt. Chairs with stains too. Disgraceful.

Superb service, probably the best and most polite and cheerful Costa emoyees at any location I have visited.

They don't accept e-gift cards. Shame
