Costa Coffee in Cheltenham

Went to costa with a friend for coffee , was served by a lovely polite man. Was very helpful and friendly, the man was called Dave highly recommended

The last thing you want to start your day with is someone with an attitude 😖🤧 The skinny guy with glasses is very unprofessional/unpleasant and the old lady needs to retire. Im a regular customer there and the rest are all lovely. Shame

Drink was made with dairy milk after asking for oat milk and was too hot to drink for twenty minutes.

Quality of cheese in toasties very poor, more like baby food than real cheese, yet your prices are continuously going up. Sort it or lose 2 regular customers.

Love Costa. Unfortunately too many people occupying tables "working" on laptops, talking remotely (and loudly in some cases) to colleagues etc. Spoils the atmosphere, also makes life difficult trying to find an empty table especially when it's busy. Suggest putting a time limit on those concerned as it seems a bit unfair on other customers. Am a regular Costa customer and noticed this is an issue in most outlets I visit wherever.

Consistently excellent and friendly service. By far the best Costa in town.

Popped in on a recent trip to Cheltenham, the staff were very friendly and welcoming and our food and drinks were prepared to a high standard. Everywhere was clean and tidy with a nice mix of regular tables and chairs and sofa chairs to relax in. Will definitely stop by again next time we're in the area!

One of the best Costas... Friendly staff, plenty of seating and a pleasant place to stop for a drink and a bite to eat.

Decent amount of seating looks recently refurbished. Lots of power by the seats as well.

Staff lie about closing time. Entered at 17:50 told it was closed. Closing time is 18:00.

Nice place to stop in between shopping with the wife good latte and a slice of cake . Good pit stop.

I have been a costa customer for years and live in london. I came to cheltenham to work. My job was on the street and the Costa's store manager, whom I went to to warm up from time to time, said that you can't come here and sit for free. The temperature of the air was minus for the 2 days I worked. What kind of attitude is that? How can a person or company be so lacking in empathy? and I would like to add in the presentation that it was never a busy branch.

Nice sunny day today, so decided to have a bite to eat in one of Cheltenhams many Costas. I have to say I was very impressed by the customer service and how efficient the staff were. I went for the toasted ham and cheese and a hot chocolate with cream both were tasty and definitely a good choice to have. They have lots of table space for many customers and right in the centre of Cheltenham so good for convenience. Thanks for a great lunch

Visited a few times in the past while having a walk, staff good and coffee good.

Arrived quite early on a Sunday. Service was excellent with the staff working as a team to serve customers as they arrived. Impressed with that and the overall presentation of this branch.

Nice seating area, efficient service. Easily connected to the wi-fi. Just the spout of the teapot was dirty.

Just go down the road to the other costa.

Great coffee shop. Enjoyed a gingerbread latte and Christmas muffin.

2 online orders, wrong item sent and charged for the more expensive one both times. Also wasteful as the incorrect item sent was gluten free so when someone actually needs gluten free they'll have run out. Wonder how many times they send the cheaper thing yet charge for the more expensive? Disappointing

Perfect spot for a coffee and a snack whilst in the main shopping area of town.

Sorry to see that this branch is not stocking the vegan ham and cheese toastie even though it is on the menu. Dishwasher also not working so lots of unwanted packaging.

Housed in an old bank in the town centre opposite John Lewis. Friendly & quick service, we had tow Ginger Bread coffees & two cake slices, all good. Would visit again.

Very unpleasant experience. Ordered coffee and lunch, we have been served lunch in original packaging with staff claiming no plates were available. Next person to me was served lunch on plate! Ordered coffee with extra shot, didn’t get that! When questioned excuse was staff thought I ordered extra hot! Will never be back.

Yet another bank turned coffee shop. Like most Costas, it's clean, good choice of cakes and drinks. My one advice is to AVOID the lady who serves us. ABSOLUTELY no customer service etiquette, no smile, and got our order wrong (choc brownie frappe are suppose to have brownie pieces on top) and scowled when asked to rectify it. Costa employ more happy staff, who actually care and talk to customers. Like you have in Chipping Norton. Or Evesham, including the new drive through. We only go there for drinks cuz the staff are cheerful. Next time in Cheltenham, we're going Starbucks rather than back here....

Arrived for a coffee went to the toilet overflowing with babies dirty nappies at 11 30 no toilet paper in dispenser dirty floor in toilet tables not being cleaned piled high with dirty cups awful

Every time I go to this costa there is always fast and efficient service that is also polite and friendly. This is the only costa in cheltenham I will go to. They make my orders perfectly every time. Specifically there is always a guy called Joe that seems to be working there that is always run off his feet, I can see that he communicates with his colleagues really well and every one respects him and his service is A1. Keep it up!

Bring served by a woman who was handling cakes with no gloves, the lad on who was doing the drinks was going to serve me in a clearly dirty cup was rude when I asked for a clean one and started slamming things around. Went to sit down and the amount of dust was appalling, tables that had not been cleared in the time we were there. The other young girl was just leant against the wall 9n her phone. Very poor service and establishment.

Excellent Customer service and friendly staff.. They were clean and well dressed. Coffee was also up-to the standard. Will definitely pop into the shop to have a cuppa..

This particular Costa is in our opinion , the best in Cheltenham . This is due to the staff .Each one , is very friendly and so very helpful . Like most places staffing levels arn't as high as should be, but they really do a good job . Thanks to each and every one of you . xx👠

One girl was quite rude on Friday 10th September. They were busy chatting yet there were tables that needed clearing. I won't be returning.

Dirty tables. Sandwiches not stocked upnin fridge. On a plus when i went in the young lady that was there as a stand in that normally work at the tesco shop. Was the nicest young lady iv been served by in a long time.

Very disappointed in this Cheltenham Costa, I believe it's on the high street near Lloyds bank, sorry have not been to Cheltenham for a number of years. I WILL be writing in to complain. A real pity. We have to put up with a pandemic, but how my wife and I was served to eat in was a disgrace no clean cup nor a plate. No excuse. Pictures tell the story

Queuing, but toastie and cappuccino good.

First customers in on a Sunday, we interrupted setup (sorry) but they fulfilled our order straight away no problems. Quality as usual, the croisants were pleasant. ........................ 10/10 would disturb in the morning again. Thank you for being open so early on a Sunday when the rest of the town is dead

The social distance was well informed with kind staff. The outside was a perfect sun trap of the side of the high street. Just wish the drinks collection was better sign posted.

Its Costa! You either like the coffee or don't. Everything else is meh! Smaller coffee chains in town I think are far better quality and value. Seating round back often ou overlooked so bigger than meets the eye. Babychino are free for kids.

Cozy place with comfortable sofas to chill. I was there in winter and it could be warmer inside.

Nice atmosphere, the only issue is the windows are a bit high so can't see much outside, but it was a bank before so as expected I suppose.

Cake was v dry and drinks tasted funny

Very comfortable and relaxed, with leather sofas and padded chairs. In a stone building that probably used to be a bank. Service could be a little more attentive, but it was a quiet time of day. Filter coffee is a bargain and arguably kinder to digestion than espresso.

A quiet coffee shop. Bigger than others and more seats

Great, unless you need the unisex loo! It’s pretty gross in there. Wet, sticky mess all over the floor and all over the wee splattered toilet and the door handle was wet and slippery, had to open it with a handful of loo roll wrapped round it.....yuk!

Good coffee spend most of my pension in Costa visit at least 5 times a week

This is just another Costa, the difference us that it is at the far end of the high street, so away from Al the other coffee shops. It can look a bit small but remember there is more seating behind the counter area, so it isn't as small as it first looks. Staff are always pleasant.

Usual selection of goodies, good service.

Guy making the coffee didn't really care what he was doing & didn't fill the cups up to the top, unless Costa is making cut backs

Coffee had no taste.asked for extra hot but it was barely Luke warm. Very disappointed 😡

Had a delicious hot chocolate there, I wanted to try the Christmas ones so I opted for a Black Forest Hot Chocolate and it was amazing to see and in the taste!
