Costa Coffee in City of London, Westminster

I went in for a coffee with a friend and a man came into the store and asked me for money. When I politely declined to give him any, he started spitting on me and racially abusing me. This went on for 45 mins while the staff did nothing. They even gave him a free coffee ! When I asked the shift supervisor for his name, he claimed that he didn't see or hear anything. Women should be able to enjoy a coffee without this sort of abuse.

Not very pleasant staff who don't make much effort to understand tourists.

I think out of all the branches visited. This has to be the most warm and friendliest branch. They are ever so welcoming. Beverages taste good. Nice and cosy and will certainly visit again and again!

The service is so slow I almost lost the will to live. Then the server forgot I had ordered a croissant along with coffee so after waiting ages had to remind her. Then she deliberately ignored me again for ages so I decided life is too short and left sans croissant. First world problems huh.

Like any other Costa Coffee, drink and food are the same. Service is great, staff served with a smile and enjoy your drink. Busy during morning time.

The slowest service ever! Can't believe how long it takes them to prepare a coffee and even if you just want to pay for a bottle of water from the fridge they are incredibly slow. The toilet is filthy Small spaces between tables Music is too loud

Waited more than 20 minutes for a tea because they had a "big order" and only 2 people working behind the counter at 9:30am in the morning when it is the busiest time of the day. Toilets disgusting without toilet rolls. Service unfriendly. The barista refused to give me tissues so I could clean my table and just told me to go to another table. Disappointing + WIFI not working.

It is unfortunate that as a Costa consumer I really disliked my visit due to the incorrect timings they have on the wall and the Reciept, I visited this branch in hopes of having a coffee whilst ensuring I have calculated time to do some work, prior to entering and purchasing a coffee I read the poster on the front door and it stated that the closing time was 18:00 on Sunday and the receipt states a closing time of 20:00 , however this is actually FALSE and Misleading as I and all the customers were asked to leave at 17:30. This review goes to the person in charge of this franchise, receipts and manager. Not towards the employees or product whatsoever. To conclude I asked to Refund my coffee due to my inpleasent visit and since I was not satisfied but got told that you pay for the product so the employee at the till did NOT issue a Refund.

i've always been loyal to this costa, and most of the time i do get a tuna melt and it always hits

Service was not helpful and staff are slow to clean tables/take plates & cutlery away so new customers can eat in. Stuffy, hot store made stay uncomfortable.

Nirav is the best barista. He always makes special coffee. Young mike with the glasses makes best flat white.

It's a Costa you either love Costa or prefer to be somewhere else. The cleanliness, service was deffo 5 star's, the coffee is what Costa sells and was the right temperature etc

Best iced whipped caramel latte to date

We ordered two hazelnut iced lattes however whoever made them forgot to put hazelnut in one of them, also no straws provided

All good but the cappuccino was only filled 3/4 of the cup

Drinks were very milky and tasted bland. Not what I expected from costa! Will not be ordering again.

Drivers steal or replace iteams before delivering.

Food cold for the price being so high than going to Costa direct. Hugely disappointed half the cup was filled no spillage so extremely poor costs service. Will not be ordering again

Very poor quality coffee. Cannot even taste the coffee I just threw it in the bin. The customer service was OK.

I'm not sure how it is possible for the person in store to forget both straws for the blended ice drinks but I am not impressed. Not everyone keeps straws in their house. I say nothing when they regularly forget to add sugar but this is a wind up. And once again I still have not been given a QR code to scan to get my points. Not happy at all

Not the greatest costa, people serving needed a little help remembering our order ... twice , coffee was lukewarm... so ensure you remind them more then twice that you want your coffee extra hot

The whole experience was awful the coffee was bad the sandwich toastie was even worse it was cold I asked for a white Americano I got a black it was cold everything was cold not order from this restaurant again

Staff seem to think that a 5pm closing time means they stop making coffee at 4:15pm. Despite head office assuring me that they will serve coffee until 5pm, the employees seem to be unwilling to do the job they are paid for.

Smoothie and one lemon muffin didn't arrive which was paid for

Once again the staff don’t or cant read the order or are unable to distinguish the difference between coffee and no coffee! There is a ‘no coffee’ option and it clearly states it in the order so I honestly do not know why it is so hard for them to get right!

Best Costa around! They always deliver my food super early and I've ordered so many times without issues! Other coffee shops tend to get my orders wrong, 5 star all the time

Would give 0 stars if I could... I've gone into this branch 4 times and had an issue with my order every single time, staff have a bad attitude and seem like they don't care about customers, not gonna bother with this branch anymore and I wouldn't reccomend anyone to go there.

Coffee ok but only filled 2/3 of the cup at times. Snacks and sandwiches are tasty but over priced.

Really nice Costa branch. Lot of choice of sandwiches and cakes, social distances and cleanliness are well follow by the staff, friendly and attent service! Highly recommend !

Hate the coffees (Too strong) but loved the frostinis.

Picked up a sandwich and coffee last week. Visited 1st time after lockdown and was pleased to see that the store is well laid out for social distancing and the team is much more friendly now.

Convenient If you’re in the Harrow Rd or Westbourne Park tube area, but always so DIRTY. Several times I’ve gone in feeling like a coffee and then left again because the place looks filthy. Costa should make sure they have the same standards in EVERY neighbourhood, not just the affluent ones.

Harrow road Branch is a favourite for me .. nice decoration .. friendly staff .. good service and there is a toilet ☺ always busy ...

Im a bus driver at Westbourne Park station and everyday morning i grab a flat white. I have tried other costa’s flat whites but is never as good as theirs .I would recommend to everyone to try it. Not to mention that the staff there are so friendly and kind

Along with Nero's, Paul and Starbuck's, one of the four power players in the bricks and mortar coffee market. We hope to bring a Costa and a Nero to the sadly missed Maison Blanc and Patisserie Valerie closed shops on Holland Park Avenue (HPA). I have never had a bad experience in a Costa Coffee.
