I appreciate that this Costa is very busy and that many people , both customers and non customers use the one unisex toilet at this cafe but is this an excuse for it being totally disgusting? When I went to use the toilet the seat was up and you can see it is rotten with urine. The grout on the tiles was filthy . Everything needs to be totally ripped out and refitted but at least bleached all over with a new toilet seat fitted. Not except-able for a food establishment .The money that this chain must take . I was quite shocked at the level of filth . Sort it out . It’s not a facility it’s a public health horror.

After finding most of the tables to be filled with dirty cups and plates struggling to find a clean table and with both staff members customers at the counter serving I decided to clear my own table. Taking some body else’s dirty plates and cups to the counter. To which I was meet with a glare and sarcastic comment of “helpful that”. No need for rude behaviour when I was just trying to be helpful.

I visited this Costas today 23.04.2024 and it was busy. I stood with my 82 year old mum and son waiting for a table as there was no where to sit. I see two ladies leaving, so I moved over to the table and waited. We were just about to sit down when a member of staff (tall lad maybe 20's) proceeded to say sorry this table is for the two people at the till. I thought this was very inappropriate behaviour as I was with an elderly person and we had stood waiting. We decided to leave the cafe and go somewhere else where staff are properly trained and polite!

I don't usually go to Costa Coffee, but this is one of the better ones I've been to. The service we received was good, as were the drinks and slices of cake we purchased

Attended here to buy drinks to take out today. Three staff working. One boy two girls. Very quiet. Ordered an iced tea and got a luke warm tea. When I queried this, I was told that the tea has to be brewed in hot water and sometimes the ice melts. This is not the iced tea I usually and regularly purchase from Costa. The boy didn't know why he needed to place an H on the lid of the hazelnut latte. This was explained to him by one of the girls and the extra hot skinny latte was not skinny, but only realised this when I got home. The two girls then had made themselves drinks before I had received mine. Won't be going back.

Ordered drinks & food this morning, then had to re-order & re-pay for the toast, as they had not added it. They said they would bring it over. After 10 minutes had to go & ask for it. The payment had not gone through. When I asked why they did not come & tell me, I was told because I walked off . The attitude of the Manageress was awful, I will not be using again.

We enjoy our visits to Costa. The coffee is nice and the choice of cakes is a bit different to Starbucks so if you want a change from the usual why not try them out. There's usually a great selection of foods to go with your chosen drinks, a great place to enjoy a break.

Stayed five nights, and the room met my expectations and requirements, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Had breakfast 2 mornings, perfect meal. However, on the final morning, the waitress, to me, was not very friendly. All the other staff I saw were very friendly and helpful.

Very ,very hot inside. Ended up leaving fast. Sandwich filling was pathetic, mainly bread with one slice of ham slapped in the middle.

Never had a problem, always good service. This was true with the owners at that point. I went in a few months ago, I guessed by the fact that there were quite a few people waiting for food that it was under new management. The wait was about 10 minutes, I think it was a Friday and they were completely unprepared, disorganised and were not communicating with each other like a team should. When one customer finally got his food he said as he was leaving "You've just lost a customer." Subsequent visits, they seemed a little better. Tonight, it was not busy at all. I ordered my food and paid. The dude went back to finishing another customer's order who arrived to pick up about a minute after I did. The customer got her order and left. I expected him to start mine, nope, he grabbed a skewer with meat on out of the thing with the holes and went in to the kitchen and returned with it in a bowl. While this was going on his colleague returned from a delivery and proceeded to grab her drink and something to eat, there was a little bit of conversation, I'm guessing about what he was doing and what I was waiting for. She then asked me did I want sauce and salad on burger? To which I said yes. I had to remind her about the Cheese and she forgot to offer me Salt and Vinegar. But then again so did I. Soon after I got my order and left. I was there for about ten minutes. The dude looked like he was in no hurry at all. He looked over at me at one point I guess to make sure I was still there, and did say it would be another few minutes. They need to be faster, be better organised and prioritise better. Deal with the customers in the shop first, they're your main priority, your bread and butter then deal with the delivery orders. In the time I took them to complete my order a snail could've successfully made it across the road.
