Lovely staff very friendly and helpful why is air-conditioning on cold not needed now ok

We are regular visits to this particular Costa. Nice staff and not as noisy as other Costas

The staff who work here are very friendly and the customer service is on another level.

Used the drive through to grab an iced latte and large plain latte. Quick and simple process recommended

Been to this Costa restuarant regularly. I have meetings and just meet friends here. It is hard for Costa Coffee shops to compete

Used to like here, but it's taken a turn for the worst. Dishwasher is Always broken, so drinks are in take away cups, and coffee is just badly made! So overpriced for such bad quality and poorly made drinks!

Never had a nice drink of any kind from this costa. All drinks just taste milky and weak. Also very expensive for poor tasting coffee

It's not right that every Costa drive thru has one barista for the drive thru and one for the shop, yet at this one it's one barista for both. Costa management need to rectify this

Monday to Saturday the doors close at 7pm and the drive thru at 7:30pm Sunday doors close at 6pm and drive thru at 7pm

This is very lively and popular coffee and snacks spot a very busy main road.It also sits within a popular Thisretail park in Romford. It is a great spot for a break before or after shopping or even for a relaxing stop with free parking.Staff are friendly and eager to serve .A truly great place for coffee.

Our go to place for light lunch. Wish they could bring more variety of vegetarian food in their menu.

I think this place is one of the places,which Me and my husband can go alone and enjoy,peaceful, no children problems because its near our home you can find near any homes 😁😁and also when my husband wants to talk to children about study or school or behaviour and and , this place is one of the place children will sit down eat or drink and listen to parents.😜😜🤣🤣🤣so we love it 😘😍❤️🌹🙏🕊🙏🕊🙏🕊

The coffee i got this morning was really really bad. The staff there are paid for nothing . Try to get another Costa.

My favourite costa as it’s not too busy General Staff is lovely and helpful. But manager with grey hair & glasses has been rude to me on two occasions & on a separate time he gave me a dirty look upon entering the store & was very blunt. It’s strange as he as very polite to my sister. I avoid visiting this branch now sadly.

What a fantastic team you have here. Friendly and serve brilliant coffee. The place is very clean and have a wonderful atmosphere. Thank you very much for being a good team and making my coffee experience exactly what it should be.

The time says 07:00 I've been there and the barman tells me it opens at 08:00

A very comfortable Costa with good and varied seating. The staff were efficient and friendly. The drinks were really nice. We didn't eat on this occasion but when we have before it's been fine

This store can be used as an example to other stores.

Filthy place. Cups are never cleaned. See photos. Stay away from them. Lazy management is in spark contrast with other shops The whole place is a mess of uncleaness.

Wonderful staff who are very understanding when you have a toddler in tow. Drive-thu can get busy. Baby change onsite. Spacious and never crowded inside whenever we have visited so always a good choice of seating. Sited on retail park so lots of parking also available.

Coffee is always good. Staff are great, and it's always fun to chat with those we see every week.

Nice spacious shop but most of the staff are too busy having a private chat to their colleagues on their “head sets” to even have eye contact with you or use their manners.

Slowest drive thru I've ever been through. If you want to be stuck for 20-30 mins with only 3 cars ahead of you then go here...if not avoid!!!

Closed early on a Sunday, open till 7, came at 6.45 just for quick coffee. Such a shame.

I've just been through the drive through. I took a little while to decide what I wanted & while I did they dealt with something in store & said let us know when you're ready. Not a problem, sensible move as far as I'm concerned. I told them I was ready when they were & they were quick to take my order, still no problem. My problem is when I got to the window. The man that gave me my order was very surly. Didn't offer me any sweetener or sugar and when I asked it was a gruff "how many". The whole time he was talking to another member of staff. There was no smile or pleasantries at all, no manners either, I didn't get a "thank you" when I handed my payment over or at anytime. He also handled virtually all of my stirrer with his hand when he gave me my sweeteners. Since when has it been ok to make the customer feel like they're a pain to the staff?

Quick service. We patronise only for their excellent take out flat-white. We prefer Costa to U-NO-HOO for their flat-white. And a slice of Lemon Cake if they have it. Stars for food & atmosphere irrelevant in this case but I have no reason to downgrade those. There should be a Not Applicable tick box.

Walked in at 5.40pm. Had to wait an age to get served, while members of staff are more worried about fill the display racks. Drive thur seem to get priority over walk in's. Once we got served we where informed that "we close in 10 minutes". Thats fine we can been done in that time. Order two drink and 2 piece of cake to have in. Drinks were served in takeaway cups, not China that I expected for a sit in order. Then at big on 6pm the front door is locked with a number of customers still inside. Not only did I fine this rude but this must be a safety issue to. The staff did not want us in there basically. Coffee good Cake good Staff poor Atmosphere poor. This store needs to address some issues.

Standard Costa with lots of space

Waiting in drive thru for nearly 25 mins and havent even got to window for my order yet. Only 5 cars were in front when I joined...

Brought my granddaughter who only wanted a strawberry milkshake and the lady made her a special one and treated her like a princess which she loved .....was really lovely

Terrible burnt coffee from this store, will not be coming back. Quite a long wait to be served.

Nice size, and seating facility. However, put off buying any dessert as the sliding doors of the confectionery display unit is always left open, inviting flies and causing food to go stale. Common sense 0.

As usual, great service at a clean and tidy costa. Shame the broken table hasn't been removed, just cordoned off.

Decent Costa, regularly go here. Drive Thru is tight A.F though. Poor planning, don't drive a wide car with nice alloys here. Good drinks though, never had a complaint.

Was served by Habiba, she took my order and was rushing me out of line. After, I confirmed how I wanted my coffee twice, I still got it wrong. So much for paying for a coffee, customer services zero!

Love love love..please disregard other negative reviews. Service always with a smile every day. All staff are friendly and approachable. At times I have waited long to get served then find no clean tables to sit down, I understand as if they are short staff you have to understand and emphasise with staff.

Poor service, terribly disappointed about this branch and its staff particularly. Plus the cappuccino with no froth, which tastes like a regular instant coffee made @ home, I've had better than this really.

Ok coffee but the slowest drive through ever. Quicker to just go in. Or better elsewhere.

Costa coffee in Collier row and on A12 retail park

While this used to be a very good costa. It's gone a bit downhill. The supervisor seems to be half involved, and you can hear them arguing on the drive thru most days. Coffee is burnt and service has become super slow on drive thru and inside. 15 mins for a cappuccino... Hire more staff?

I'm not an overly high maintenance customer but I feel that I do need to mention the poor service at this branch of Costa. We made the mistake of going into the store to sit down for a coffee and were largely ignored whilst the staff served the drive through customers ahead of us. All seemed to be wearing headsets and made us feel like we were imposing by asking to be served. When we eventually got our order, it came without cutlery so had to queue up again for five minutes to be ignored for a second time. We're big Costa fans but I'm not likely to come back to this branch again. Unless to use the drive through, of course.

Very nicely situated along the A12, easy and convenient. We love the Caramel frappuccino.

Under staffed...could not cope with everyone's orders...food was cold time we got our drinks.

Drive thru, waited to give my order 5 mins wait ( was not busy). I assumed the mic was not working. Drove to the window to be told to drive round even though it would be the same ppl taking my order. Elderly lady being different walked away and said she wanted serve me (refusing to take my order). Second lady was more friendly took my order, I was preparing to pay, told me it was a long day, I understood, till third person, man said I should apologise and go round to take my order (again refusinh my order). Very poor service, very rude. Never going back there again.

Dreadful service… four staff doing nothing much but waited ages!! No crockery etc. out so needed to ask.. AVID if you can… go to Dunelm!

A rude experience. Had a argument with the man on the headphones. He was literally the rudest man I've spoke too. He was moaning that he couldn't hear my order. He said I was making to much noise in the van. I was making no noise.it was outside and he said it wasn't outside .then noise stopped and made order ok and I said see no noise and you can hear now. No apology. Went to window no apology. Really rude.

Freddie May, you are just misinformed if you were to ask you would know that the store inside closes at 7 and the drive thru closes at 7.30. They are not allowed to close the store half hour earlier than they should

Whoever's paying the staff here needs to check their watches - notice they have a habit of clocking off early by locking the doors 30 minutes before the advertised closing time. Minor point but highly annoying - just change the opening hours so customers know where they stand duh! Took my custom next door.

Walked in.... saw the state and lack of cleaning after customers leave. Shame really as its more or less brand new and if staff mistreat it then unfortunately that naturally concerns hygiene... on my particular visit I would never order from that store... if your driving through trust me walk in see it for your self. Please do let me know if it is usually clean or when I went was it a one off

Nice easy parking. Great tasting coffee. When the staff were serving me they were very polite and friendly. While waiting to be served and waiting for my coffee the staff seem to be under pressure, rushing around and abrupt conversations between them. Also they were dealing with drive through customers (on headsets). It made me feel like I was in their way. I was served my drink with an apology for the wait (there wasn't much of a wait). Then the staff had to rush back to dealing with other things. The staff were great but I feel the management of the staff is where the problem is. On reading other reviews on this place there seems to be similar experiences. The shop has a lovely large seating area, nice and bright. I enjoyed my coffee! 😃

Great coffee, inside or drive-thru option, friendly and helpful staff lots of outside parking, we were actually asking for directions and a local customer was kind enough to get us going back in the right direction - a massive thank you 👍👍☕

Not much to say... I'd prefer the staff to be a bit more attentive, instead of chatting to each other... I understand that the "drive through" customers come first... But just a little more thought to the customer inside would be good

Good service, friendly staff, and lovely drinks. I have given 4 stars because the some of the staff were making so much noise when stacking the cups and cleaning around the tables.

Very good staff and store but the customers are dribbling morons. Who asks for a thermometer to prove the temperature?! And then still leave a negative review after getting a NEW drink?!! You should have not revoeved a new drink and instead be shown directions to a care home coz you're too stupid to be left alone...

So, there are 4 people behind the bar/counter. Around 15 costumer all of the sitting. I go and order a take in medium cappuccino. The girl charges a latte - no problem since is the same price but they pass the latte ticked to the barista. I said to them that I ordered a cappuccino The barista ask me if I want chocolate on top, I say "yes!" I am right in front her. She look ate and tell me : "sorry I forgot" and give me a latte!!!!

The staff wasn’t friendly when I said that the coffee it’s burnt and asked for thermometer to prove to them as I am a coffee person I know how it’s supposed to be. The young barista was very agresive and have made a new latte instead just because I have asked not because she have done a burned one for me.

Staff are always very helpful & have a high standard of service. Very clean & welcoming inside plus the toilets are a good size & clean. Handy drive thru has been used more than we've ever gone in. Worth stopping at.

Managers disgusting. How someone like that can run a store is beyond me! Aisha is a lovely member of staff a massive shame she has a nasty manager that ruins the store.

Always friendly and polite...coffee is great too 😊 Has been our go to place through all the lockdowns...will always be memorable for that reason. It's the little things that make the difference and this Costa was one of them.

The service from Aisha was sooooo nice! So friendly and happy to answer all questions to do with dietary needs. My daughter left super ecstatic as she was able to eat their vegan marshmallows.

This is a large and spacious Costa with good seating if you wish to eat/drink in or just drive up order and go.

Closest Costa, visited often. Staff always fast and friendly and coffee consistently well made, not a wrong order yet!

Good coffee in a great location. Plenty of parking available. This Costa is large and has plenty of seating. I didn't use the Drive Thru I parked up and sat inside.
