Costa Coffee in Mansfield

Not good at all when you only order two things and they don’t even send your food just the drink

We have ordered multiple times from Costa and every time there is something missing or they don't separate cold food from hot.

Couldn’t get a refund for missing items

Food was stone cold and frappe completely melted. Arrived an hour late.

Wrong delivery! I only ordered a ham and cheese croissant and got a ham and cheese toastie!

Was very disappointed had no dairy free choice on the cakes. Normally, you can at least have a rocky road or cinnamon swirl, but the only choice was toasted tea cake. I expect better from Costa never been let down before. On a personal note for me, if you sat too near the speakers, they were too loud, which was a shame as one of the speakers was above the one cosy sofa this costa has.

Reasonably fast service for a Costa.

Dependable Costa. Can't really go wrong. Has one of those annoying car park camera set ups where you have to input your registration or get a fine. I can only assume it is to stop the poor NHS staff parking there due to KMH not having enough staff spots.

We specifically asked for proper whipped cream and got squirty cream instead.

Recently in the last few weeks they always seem to forget the food on our orders, today we received half of order missing and the food we did received uncooked food. I used to come to this Costa was they were always spot on, but the last three times I’m spending £23-£25 on food to not receive it or now even receive food that isn’t prepared right. Feels a bit of a gamble to order from here now. This is all ordered via Just eat and it’s easy to blame them at times but the bags they bring has the receipt on all packed up stating the items should be in there and they aren’t so can’t blame just eat on this one.

Order missing food again, and this time the only food we did get wasn’t even cooked. 😕

Quite small inside and very busy. Tables not always wiped from the last customer. Ok.

Wrong item sent, just sent the bog standard bacon cob, didnt realise reading the order was that difficult? 🤷‍♂️

The workers are very polite, and they make the Costa fast my personal favourite to get is a chocolate fudge brownie frappe

The staff were as usual for Costa, friendly. This store is open quite late and has a 90 minute parking restriction but if you put your reg in the tablet at the counter you get that extended to 3hrs. So quite a good place to meet someone for a chat and catchup.

the bubble frappes were both missing the bubbles which was the main reason for ordering them ... also were both to be made with Coconut milk but no way of knowing if this was the case as no markings or labels on them as there are in store so couldn't be sure. shame as came really quickly

Service was great, food was made quite quickly and to a great standard. Staff were polite, friendly, funny and just overall incredible. I visit this Costa location quite frequently, usually after a doctors appointment (kings mill hospital is just down the road) and I’m always pleased with the service. ☺️💗

Quick and friendly service and a great atmosphere. Special mention to the barista George (tall, young, blonde, muscles!) he was very lovely and patient when I couldn’t get my order right!

Although it was rather busy inside, we managed to find a table and enjoy a good cuppa with toasties.

I am going to this Costa as is closer to where I live, however the quality of the coffee ia not always consistent and this is the main reason why you’re going to a coffee shop. Yesterday I couldn’t even drink it. It was that bad!

Very busy and noisy. Obviously popular. Just an honest review. Quick service however and pleasant staff.

They certainly knew how to make a great cappuccino here.

Quality was good however i paid extra for marshmellows on my frappe but never received them. No way to report them missing either without reclaiming the whole frappe!

So visited this morning between 9 -10am, 3 of us in total.We decided to go for Breakfast bap deal , bacon bap and a drink for £5.99. The problem i have was told the bacon baps already have butter on them (I don't like butter whats so ever) .Even my sisters said they wouldn't expect to have butter on a bacon cob . I watched how it was prepared, they take the prepacked cob out of the packaging, open it up then fiddle about with the bacon and place it in some sort of oven to be heated. Surely butter could be added at this point. So I take it ,the same would nation wide which ever Costa you visit. Anyway so I declined this Breakfast deal( my sisters were happy with theirs) I just had a cappuccino which I enjoyed (didn't want cake as too early) . Nothing against staff /service, just Costa in general ,maybe something to think about.

Usual costa standards but service a little slower at busy times

Had a lovely cup of coffee and a mince pie served by some really nice people behind the counter. I can highly recommend it.

Went in here today . Food & drinks absolutely fine but some of the staff not too friendly & service rather slow . Tables not cleared & floor dirty . 😢

Ordered 2 hot chocolates that came luke warm very poor service staff said that’s how they should be ! That’s what happens when kids run places absolutely rubbish

Unfortuanly wrong cakes delivered what a waste as nobody likes them!not sure if this was a mistake or items ordered not available. Got refund form justeat for wrong goods. If items are not in stock not a good idea just to replace with anything should offer refund or phone and ask what substitute customer wants

Really enjoyed the brie and cranberry toastie but the best thing was the chocolate orange drink.

My app said my order was here but no knock on the door as I would of known so I decided to go outside and the driver was delivering it to the wrong door although the house he was at has a house number so should of realised when I said to him it was my order he didn’t seem really bothered

Still waiting for order even though says delivered. Daughter very upset. She was waiting for her treat and it never came to our house

Good service friendly staff,and of course great coffee.

Was made feel very uncomfortable by a member staff. Demanding that my small dog had to be on the floor and not sat on my knee.

Delivery driver was smoking a cigarette while delivering my food. Would also not come near my door because I had a dog making me go outside in my pyjamas to collect my food

Stopped off here for a tea whilst visiting a work location nearby. Parked up rather than use the drive through. Car park is limited to 90 minutes, ANPR cameras with screen inside by tills to enter Reg if staying for longer. Toliets were clean. The tea and cake were good. Bit pricey but usual prices for a Costa. The nearby location was the main reason for visiting.

The menu says that there is things that the shop doesn’t even sell. For example we wanted a boba tea that was on the menu but they said that they don’t do those anymore.

Costa should do the £1 cakes more often

It has been updated. but the carpark is Privateised so becarefull you have to read The carpark notice.

First time I've visited here,sadly the last.We asked for specific things(nothing too difficult for the staff) however they were chatting in their headsets about gossip (not work) to actually take in what we had asked. Tables were full of dirty plates etc. No mention of the parking restrictions, so received a hefty fine. I've been back to see where the tablet is that you enter your vehicle reg, it was hidden near the end of the tills.When I asked the server why hadn't they mentioned it (we had spent quite a bit of money there), she replied " it's not her job". Maybe not but extremely disappointed all round really. I wouldn't recommend if neurodivergent either.

Staff are absolutely disgusting and rude. Was cut off and interrupted when ordering, Then made to wait 10 minutes while the drinks were sat getting cold. Then laughed at by staff!!!

Went this afternoon for coffee and was very busy enjoyed our coffee and cake as usual to us today not enough staff on as quite a few of tables were full of trays with dirty pots

It was very early, the delivery driver was lovely and the food was lovely, will defo be ordering again!!

Friendly and fast. Coffee cups always filled to the top with no shortages. Food alway nice could be a bit better priced.

By far the best Costa in Mansfield. The staff are ao friendly and I love the occasional "Happy Friday" from the staff on the drive thru. I often leave work to come to this one rather than use the one at the Hospital. Never had an issue.

Still like this Costa, it's had a refurb which has not done it any favours! It's like being in an auditorium and the noise is phenomenal! If you're hearing impaired or cannot deal with noise sensitivities then it's not the place for you. There is free parking which helps but make sure you put your car registration in on the ipad on the counter as the Parking Eye robbers manage the car park now and if you stay over 90 mins you'll get a £60, non proportionate fine. The manager is a sweetheart and a jolly fella. Before the drive through the staff were attentive, now with those horrid headphones you're lucky to get a hello. New furniture and brighter decor. Not looking dated anymore! Still a good place to visit but the noise is overwhelming.

Thought I'd go to Costa to work on my laptop and have a change of scenery whilst doing so. Spent plenty on drinks and eats, and was not aware of the 90 minute maximum stay time for the carpark. Have now been hit with a £60 fine. Won't bother going again, the staff seem fed up and obviously don't care to speak up about the parking restrictions. Granted I didn't look at the signage, but I wasn't expecting there to be any restrictions for paying customers... I won't go back, that's for sure.

First experience of a Costa drive through. Drinks were prepared quickly. Disappointed that they didn't have the vegetarian option available. Also for the price I thought the bacon sandwich was very lacking - not much bacon. Poor value for money. The coffee was what you'd expect though, very good quality albeit pricey.

Another great Costa. A walk round the Res and a coffee to finish.

Put oat milk in the regular latte instead of semi skimmed. Not hard to read the order surely.

Visiting this establishment cost me £80 in parking fines, after spending 10 mins over the outside carparks signage allocated time frame I received a PCN, I asked the staff member to contact the parking Eye company to see if this could be wavered because I had a business meeting inside this establishment spending over £30 dining in, the member of staff, was very patronising rude and purposely tried forcing an argument with me, she pulled out tablet pc device hidden under a bag of crisps on the counter and stated i should of entered my details into the pad when dining in, stating it was my own fault and have to pay the fine, also told me i should of read the signs on entry, vey true but wasn't very warming advice as i stood with a £100 fine letter in my hand asking for help, I didn't want to get into confrontational argument with her so asked if her manager has the power to help me, she started talking at me again, trying to avoid my request, i told her I will be leaving a review about the way she's making feel, she pressed a button on her headphones and asked for someone to call the Police, She told me the police have been notified because i've threatened to use her name online, it wasn't until I reminded her that the cameras above on the walls will be recording her disgusting behaviour also our conversation that she started to see some sense, she then stopped talking at me, i requsested the establishments management's name and contact details again, the details given was false ! That's probably the most expensive coffee that I've tasted to date, Costa coffee, with Costa Parking charges !! Customer service with attitude

Great place, great service, great staff and perfect place for a friend not comfortable with crowds and getting him back out in the world and new experiences.

Just received a parking charge fine for being over 90 minutes. I spend all this time in the coffee with my friend. Would seem charged recently applied but although I admit I failed to see signs no staff in Costa mentioned change or mentioned the number plate machine. I will never more spend time in this coffee shop!!!

Great place, my coffees are always good. Food is as normal for Costa. Depending on which staff seem to be working some are a bit miserly and some are happy. A mixed bag. Get my coffee non the less.

Self-proclaimed baristas cannot distinguish cappuccino from latte - this is a problem in every Costa Coffee.

Friendly staff and good atmosphere

Staff were a little 'dull' in service considering it was Christmas. Not coming forward in advising customers of car park tickets for staying over 1 hour 30 minutes. Suppose that was a nice bonus of £240 between 4 of us. First time visit will definitely be my last.

Decent enough but it should have been cleaner.

I went through the drive through on a really dreary Friday morning to be greeted with "happy friday" on the end of the speaker. This instantly made me smile. I then saw I had "happy Friday" written on the top of my cup. This person should be congratulated, she made what could have been a very mundane transaction really pleasant. She's a credit to your team.

I appreciated the nice message in my cup. A nice touch goes a long way!

One person taking orders & then making drinks, so obviously a queue forming at counter, seemed to prioritize drive thru customers.Asked for my Almond Croissant to be warmed but told no, due to allergy regulations. They then served it me cold 😳…….. bizarre. The place was scruffy as well, floor needed a clean as did the tables.

I use this costa regularly and always seems to have a service eith a smile and really friendly staff. Iv previously had issue here but as of the last year here they have really done well to turn around my previously bad review. I now use this costa again on a regular basis.

Went in at 4.30pm today and they were taking cakes out and putting away when they don't close till 7pm..nothing to choose to have with our coffee..not very good

Found my flavor🤩 I love the fall flavors, and sometimes I wish they'll last forever. I'm glad that we can swap the milk for something else, and the coconut milk isn't at all a bad choice for a nice cup of hot chocolate. The maple hazle flavor gives me goosebumps reaching every single taste buds😋🤤

This is like the 4th time this has happened, I’ve ordered one thing and got something completely different. This time I ordered chocolate twists but got pan au chocolates, obviously not that big of a deal but I’d prefer to get what I paid for.

Order delivery but never come to my house

My coffee was cold, and the female staff were very rude... no point in making the coffee only to then make my sandwich 10 minutes later.

I think the driver could’t find my address but it is fine.

This place is filthy!! The car park is full of Costa cups but the inside looks like its not been cleaned in weeks! The floor is disgusting and the seats look like they have never been wiped down. I couldn't enjoy my food and drink due to the unhygienic surroundings. Will not be going back.

Frappies were put in the normal cups but lids were flat so the topping was all mixed up and for some reason they were not as good.
