Friendly staff. Cold at times due to excessive air conditioning.

Service was rocky. Found the server initially to be unhelpful and a bit sarcastic but as I left she turned it around. Cleaniness has improved instore. Ashley Centre is now dog friendly but dogs are not allowed in store. Shame, as my local costa allows dogs in for pickup and take out. Drink was hot and good value for money..

I wanted to praise a particular staff member named Eliza! Such a friendly lady and was working super hard making everyone’s drinks during a busy period in the shop while there was only her and a trainee. Had a very tasty cappuccino! :)

What awful service. I had to wait 5 mins to be served when there were 2 behind the counter. Then when my drink was being made, the barista was happy to talk to her friends with my drink in her hands, while I'm stood there waiting. Not good enough.

Had too takeaway drinks didn’t give straws and they didn’t put coffee in my salted caramel frappe even though I asked for it

Great service, 1st time here, customer before having an unnecessarily bad attitude about an item they were waiting on to Ceecee (unsure of spelling, I'm sorry!). She handled great. From an ex-barista to another, we related and she was very kind and had a laugh. The joys of customer service eh?! Got a great person on your team :)

Lovely as always, in the past two years we have not been here so we saw new staff, all of them were lovely young people, the cappuccino and the two double espressos were amazing, cost £8.10 total and you can see the chocolate on the cappuccino :) so lovely, also can recommend this espresso as it was nice and strong!

Last orders of the day, so it was empty. Staff were very helpful and patient whilst I took ages to decide.

Good place to meet for a late coffee on Sunday as open until 5pm after the shops shut.

Located within the Swan Shopping Centre. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Staff are friendly. Coffee quality and service are typical Costa fare. Nice place for a coffee/lunch break.

Just like any other Costa, the drinks and food are of the standard you'd expect. The service and atmosphere was nothing special, but nothing bad.

Cup of tea and a cinnamon bun. All fine. Till girl found it difficult to understand our order and we found it difficult to understand her. Not good

A little low on staff. The queue did move fast. Tables. Ended to be cleared away. Hot chocolate was excellent.

Costa Coffee Shop in Leatherhead Town has improved alot, much cleaner inside and outside tables and Staff friendlier than they were last time I visited there too.

Used to be great but has really gone downhill. One member of the team paid more attention to her boyfriend constantly ignoring customers and other staff. Not very clean.

MUCH improved speed, and general service, in the past 6-9 months, it's now decent 👍

It was good and as expected, wish they did put just a tad more ice as it was quite a hot day. But very fast and kind service always go here for a coffee in Leatherhead.

This used to be a good branch but has gone downhill and is to be avoided. Tables not cleared and seemed grubby. Coffee warm not hot, tray not clean. I left and went to Charlie and Ginger which is 5*. Sort it out! Down to staff!

They do really good coffee however I orders online and it said 5-8 minute til ready I got to Costa and was waiting ten minutes on top of the 8 minute walk which let them down hence three stars this used to be an amazing branch not anymore

I ordered click and collect on the Costa app and it said ready in 5-8 minutes I got there 10 minutes after I ordered and they hadn't even started my drink I was then waiting a further ten minutes for them to make my drink and they were not superbusy. This used to be a good branch before all the old staff left. I'm very dissapointed. Staff weren't particularly friendly either I hope they improve but for now my review is one stars. Costa should not say ready in 5-8 minutes if they cannot deliver at the expected time

This place has really gone down hill staff seem miserable slow service and no atmosphere..please sort out because I noticed your competition seem more busy.

Used to be a good branch now rubbish waited about half hour today for a Luke warm coffee that included a nice piece of plastic that I choked on, looked like it came from the milk container. Manager didn’t seem bothered just said won’t happen again I’ll speck to other staff before rushing off.

They are all so nice in there just sad it doesn't open tilll8am now not 7am ...

Costa sort yourself out! NO COSTA MANAGER AT PRESENT ON SITE! I went into Leatherhead on 20th Nov expecting to be able to do some food shopping and grab a coffee.. i got to Costa around 10.55 and saw a huge amount of people both inside the cafe and outside so i assumed all was well and there wouldnt be an issue. I was wrong. The door was locked but the was a que of people still ordering coffee and seats were full. So no sign of anyone leaving anytime soon.. I looked on the window and a scrap piece of paper had scribbled on it closed from 11-12 for STAFF LUNCH. Bear in mind everything i've just said you wouldve thought if they were closing they would be sorting the cafe out and NOT SERVING ANYONE ELSE. A new TRAINEE opened the door and said come back at 12 and will be back open... So i did what any normal person would do. I went and did my shopping and then came back at 11.55 assuming considering they had TOLD ME to come back at 12 i could get a coffee. Again i was wrong. The cafe was a STATE. Coffee ups EVERYWHERE. It had been ABANDONED. That wasnt what annoyed me. I looked at the original piece of scribbled paper on the window and they had scribbled back over it and changed the timings from 11-12.30 FOR STAFF LUNCH. So as you can imagine i was not best pleased... The 3 TRAINEE girls came back round the corner saw me and said we had to have our lunch and we cant let anyone in till weve sorted the cafe out.. Common sense you wouldve thought they would 1. Staggered lunch breaks 2. CLEANED BEFORE BREAKS. 3. Told me in the first place to come back at a later time not 12. Finally i asked about their hours and was told they opened at 8 and were going to close at 3pm so bare in mind and im not a math magician but open at 8 closed 11 for an 1.5 hours means theyve worked for 3 hours. Then back open till 3pm so in total only worked 5 hours between 3 people? Not standard business hours and customer service has severly dropped and needs sorting IMMEDIATELY

New trainees are sticking their fingers inside of the freshly brewed coffee. Linking their fingers and without washing, touching leads ... Disgusting... :( I will try avoiding this place for a while

Very slow Barista. 5 out of the ten tables had plates and old coffee cups at them. Customers were left to clear their own table. Staff here need to step up a gear and look after the customers.

Was quite busy when we went and the staff very polite but as it was busy, surfaces probably weren't cleaned as much as they should but the staff were doing the best they could with the man power they had

Not the usual lovely staff at this store this morning... but the 2 memebers of staff on were just as friendly cheerful and calm as our usual lovely bunch whilst handling a non stop queue of customers for ovwr an hour, whilst keeping the coffe shop clean and tidy in between.

Costa Coffee website says the Leatherhead branch opens at 8am on Sundays and on the door of this branch it says 8am on Sundays. Came here at 8am on Sunday 5th September 2021 with two other people, it was not open as lights were off and didn't look like it would be ready to open anytime soon. We waited 10 minutes, and as I am autistic I expect places like this to be open on time when it says it will. There was no sign on the door or windows to say it was going to be open later that day. Usually Costa is good but not this day - very poor customer service to not be open at the time you state it to be open.

Came in for a mocha and a hot chocolate and was given sour/off cream on top of each drink absolutely disgusting. Threw both drinks in the bin and wouldn't return

Myself and my husband came into Costa yesterday and I have to say that the server Dom was absolutely lovely 😍 he was friendly and cheerful and so helpful and kind. It. Makes such a difference to someone's day. Thank you for being a diamond 💎
