Lovely homely and warm atmosphere! Staff is exceptional! Always make me, my family or friends feel very welcome and comfortable! All drinks or food are always made to my liking! My favourite coffee tastes exactly the same every time I visit. I would highly recommend this particular branch as this is my favourite coffee place to go to to chill or have a lovely afternoon get together with my close ones.

As usual I get my coffee at my favourite Costa in Cockfosters and it hasn’t disappointed. Great customer service with a slight sense of humour, fantastic coffee and always busy. Honest respect to the employees as only 2 work at a time yet it stays clean, quick and joyful service and they are always in a good mood.

The Service here at this Costa is excellent. All the staff are friendly and helpful also take care in making the drinks. I think this is down to good management. I wish all places were like this..

The coffee is excellent, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The staff are delightful and so helpful but the food selection is limited, and the prices are rather high with the few options available.

Tasha, the blonde hair staff member who served me, is an absolute asset to Costa and a ray of sunshine. Tasha supported me in downloading the Costa app and explained everything to me very clearly. This is excellent customer service, and I always look forward to visiting.

Costa in Cockfosters is one of the most friendly branches I’ve been in and have been visiting daily for coffee and breakfast for over a year. The staff are quick, friendly and genuinely can’t do enough to ensure you have a pleasant experience. The facility and toilets are always clean and a lot of the customers are regulars which adds to the friendly atmosphere. Parking is generally not an issue as long as you are prepared to pay the small fee to avoid the regular traffic wardens which is a small price to pay to be able to park if you are sitting in. There is also good access for wheelchairs and disabled visitors including the toilets. Well done Costa 10/10 ! ☕️🥐

This is by far the best run costa coffee i have visited with the most caring and knowledgeable baristas and always a great atmosphere,albeit this may be down to demographics (other branches can learn from the running of this store)

Coffee pretty good. I had an oat cappuccino. Clean and tidy. I found the almond croissant a bit heavy, but staff friendly and service excellent

Only one staff behind the counter taking orders and making the drinks. Another staff just wondering round doing odd jobs not helping to serve. Waited over 30 minutes from ordering to getting the drink and got one of the drinks wrong. By the time we realised the drink was wrong the shop closed ita doors Virtually within minutes we left the shop.

Absolute dreadful customer care. Just spent £17. Wrong drink made, pastry not warmed up when asked for it to. Chap on the coffee machine walked away halfway through making our drink. Four staff behind the counter all chatting but no communication. Counter dirty, floors dirty. One of the worst I’ve been to for a while. They need to focus and communicate better. Place is full of students just chilling taking up the tables.

In recounting my recent visit to the Costa Coffee franchise located in Cockfosters, I cannot help but feel a sense of disappointment and dismay. It was meant to be a simple and enjoyable outing to support my wife, who has a fondness for the establishment's offerings. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by the behavior of the store manager, Huda. Huda seemed to have a distorted sense of self-importance and, dare I say, an inclination towards serving only white patrons. Despite my local residency and the money I was willing to spend, he showed a clear preference towards serving those of a different ethnicity than my own. This was evident in his reluctance to attend to our needs, instead, he assigned the task to the already occupied staff, while he devoted his time and attention solely to white customers. As a seasoned retail manager and owner for over 25 years, I strongly believe in the principle that all customers deserve equal and respectful treatment, irrespective of their ethnicity or gender. It is, therefore, disheartening to encounter such behavior in this day and age, particularly in a community as diverse as Cockfosters. In light of this experience, I have resolved to ensure that my family and friends never have to endure such treatment. It is my sincere hope that the management of the franchise takes appropriate measures to address this issue and create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all patrons.

We popped in en route home and we really enjoyed how bright it was inside. The drinks were made well and were swift. I liked it there.

Stopped for a coffee with a friend. The staff was amazing.

Decent Costa with great quick service. Visited on a Sunday morning and there was only one employee serving, Andrew. He did fantastic, really efficient and got the morning rushes orders through quickly. I hope management see this so that Andrew can receive praise and also make note that it is not pleasant for one member of staff to work that alone.

visited 3 weeks ago and today 28th Aug 2020. Staff afternoon rude and aggressive. Despite explaining I was in.pain an husband disabled. I will not be returning neither my husband who has been going here for 15 years. Sad.

Went with a friend for a quick coffee and because of Monday 50% off the place became full very quickly. Sitting area is limited due to physical distancing. Service is good at the counter but tables are not being cleaned quickly enough. Seemed to me that menu is still restricted but what you can get is Costa's typical offering.

I always been able to get hot water in any Costa. This morning (5/03/20) at around 8:15 I tried to order my regular cup of hot water and I was greeted by a not very helpful barista. She gave me attitude when I asked for a cup of hot water and said that I would have to pay a price for a tea. I didnt want want a tea, so why should I pay for one? Usually I get charged between 25 to 50 pence, but for some reason she didn't want to do it. If any management is reading this, I would recommend to have more customer friendly employees working at the till.

The instantly forgettable and outdated interior here underpinning the adequate + average “formula.” Nothing here aspires to transcend expectations. Consolidates the ordinary... after all ... it’s so comforting. Staff be busy-bees going about their buzz-ness.

You know what you're going to get at Costa but it's all on the strength of the staff and the girls at this branch really went the extra mile... Great customer service.

Very dirty place with very rude staff that have a stinking attitude and act like they are doing you a favour serving you. Place has gone so far downhill in last few months none of the regulars are going there anymore. Would not be suprised if it closes down it is a terrible place that cant even get a coffee right and always so slow with long ghastly queues.

Staff not friendly, too busy chatting with each other or their own families. The manager is rude and very abrupt to customers and her own staff, which is not nice to listen to. Service is definitely not with a smile. Tables never cleaned and I always have to clear it myself. Staff clean the toilet at lunchtime and then put sign up to say out of use so they don’t have to clean it again.

Asked how strong tea was. Was told they would put 2 Tags in the pot. When I queried cost, I had been charged twice for the extra T bag. Fair enough if I had been told this and made a choice. Manager apologised and refunded the cost of 1 cuppa. Even with 2 T bags....no strength. Disappointed!

Great Costa the Baristas are always friendly. And the Hot chocolate is nice and thick. The ambiance in the shop is always nice. All together a very relaxing place.

I really liked this place when it first opened up and the manageress was so helpful. Nowadays the interior looks shoddy and the two settees have been replaced with little tables. The cleanliness of the place has gone down a lot and it is not just in my opinion. A lot of people I know don't frequent the place and prefer to go to another Costa.

What is there to say... It's a standard Costa coffee. My personal opinion is Costa probably do the best coffee of all the chains in the UK, but it's still not a patch on a good indeoendent coffee shop hence the drop of a star..!

Service, quality and attitude is different every time I visit. Shame cause its a large shop with space to relax. Shame it's so variable. Lots of competition nearby.
