Costa Coffee in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

The usual standard Costa coffee.

Coffee wasn't hot enough and tasted powdery. It was a chilly day and they had the air conditioning on. Didn't stay long.

All ok. Getting in and out to get a coffee is the problem.

Unfortunately Large latte was only luke warm at best.

Gemma and her team are fab! Attentive, friendly, professional, always smiling and nothing is too much trouble. They are a real credit! Give them a payrise!

What can I say , I love Costa coffee and cannot resist their lemon curd tart.

The coffee at Costa is only ever average, but the good thing is, you always know you're going to get average coffee so there are no surprises. The girls were helpful and friendly. There are no other decent cafes for coffee around here unless you want coffee from Macca's which is worse than Costa, so I would Costa coffee it if you're hanging out for the bean hit!!

Megan who served my wife was a abosolute disgrace, after preparing our drinks back n forth on the tray my wife wasn't sure weather it was ready to take because of Megan's ignorance. So when my wife said "is it ready to take?" Megan said in a disgusting manner (circling her finger around the drinks) "Well you ordered four drinks!" Again.. it wasn't made clear that the tray was ready to take as usually, eye contact and a thankyou usually let's people know. Disgusting, won't be using Costa again!

Amazing staff, fantastic service and the best coffee!

Wouldn't let me use both offers on my Costa app and then messed my order up and almost made my drink with dairy when I asked for oat milk. I'm lactose intolerant. Good job that I noticed the barista and corrected her before she made it.

Its a Costa...Still awful place. Never any staff. Drive thru shut down due to staff shortages. Managers do not last more than a couple of weeks. Served someone in front of me with toast and then tell the customer they had no butter !!!! Is this the standard? I always have to ask for spoons and tissues. The tissues are what they use in the toilets. Absolute disgrace.

Just been to Costa as we do every week, drive through closed which I fully understand as they appear short staffed however I stood at till over 7 minutes before anyone took my order, tables full of dirty dishes three staff two making up orders and other one filling chocolate etc when maybe should have. Wen clearing tables then no cream for top frappe? They were also very thin like iced coffee and not nice at all I am very disappointed with whole visit and may not bother again

Its 19:49 and your drive thru and door is closed to the public. When your signage states open until 20:00. Feel free to check your cctv for my partner arriving at the door within the time allocation for the public. 02/11/23 Well done Costa

Lovely staff and Coffee. Car park is a nightmare though.

Dishwasher went down a few of weeks ago since then cardboard cups, no plates, spoons or napkins. This is not the staff's fault but bad management. Tables dirty and not cleared. Staff get back lash from customers. This is not fair on them. About time management sorted this out.

I’m a massive costa fan. But I’m getting tired of constantly having to clear my own table. And at 51 I don’t mind the odd takeaway cup. But not all the time. And eating a cake out of a paper bag. Well let’s just say I finished looking like a six year old child by the time it was over

How on earth can anyone actually like Tassimo Costa Americano coffee is beyond my imagination. To be someone’s “favourite Costa Drink” defeats me . It is absolutely disgusting. We bought a package recently only to find when made it on our Bosch coffee machine its taste was awful..It says on the package MORE to discover! I hope not

Ordered two flat whites today (1st Jan 2023) and the way it is poured and served, is absolutely unprofessional in the terms of quality, appearance and taste. I never usually complain but this is terrible for a Costa brand. Seriously, train your barista and ensure quality matches elsewhere. ☕

Met up with ex work colleagues. Nice coffee and lunch with good company plus pleasant staff. The place was very clean and tidy. Well managed, we'll done.

Great service and drink, especially as I was able to use my free coffee bean! Spent good few hours catching up with friends and felt under no pressure to move on.

Went to the drive thru costa at 9.55 today and despite having no salted caramel sauce, the blonde Girl was quick to offer me an alternative and was very apologetic. The service in which I received was a delightful start to my day. A big shout out to Jane doe (didn't quite get her name). A credit to costa.

Lovely, friendly bunch of staff working at saltash Costa. Nothings to much effort, go far and beyond to help. They make the regulars feel like family and always make my day. Especially pheobe, willow and Nathan, you guys are amazing... And make an amazing coffees or hot chocolates with lots of flavour. Thank you guys :) :)

Great located Costa to stop at on our trips to Cornwall and visiting family. First time I've use a drive through Costa and it worked very well, very efficient.

Not open even though Google said you were. Had to go to McDonalds instead where it absolutely stunk of sewage. 🤮

Slowest Costa ever, they seem understaffed, no matter the time of day they only seem to have three people manning the store, I actively try to avoid this Costa due to the delay, adds 10/15 minutes to my drive to get a coffee where’s other Costa drive through like the one at the Cornish service station are quick and efficient! Genuinely think more staff are needed at this store

Not a fan of there coffee toasti

Asked for a gingerbread hot chocolate before they were on the menu. They made it anyway and gave me the little gingerbread men too because "They're cute and we have wanted to use them for ages". Legendary.

Staff very pleasant, work very hard. Coffee too strong for my personal taste. Had a lemon tart but definitely not as nice, as they used to be. Smaller in every way & I thought pricey.

Usual range of food/drinks and products available. Well staffed, had indoor and outdoor seating plus a drive through. Parking for customers and disabled people, store has access for disabled including restrooms and mother changing room. Very helpful and polite staff, clean store.

It's a Costa , nothing really of note here , can be a bit of a wait at the drive thru but it seems to be the norm at Costas

It's Costa, the drinks and food are great. However on my visit and this might be different for others, customer service was poor. I don't make a song and dance about being disabled and I generally try to do things myself. However a tray, hot drink, a bottle and food on crutches was difficult. Some might say I should have asked. Yes, perhaps, but some equality training might not go a miss as some disabilities are hidden. Yet another Costa branch in a different location was brilliant, so perhaps the staff were having a bad day.

Been going here several times a week for the past couple of months going to the work, lovely women staff so polite and they know what you want to eat great service highly recommended

Had a longer wate as lots of pre orders and drive through but coffee was to standard.

I am a frequent costa drinker, to a certain extent I am an addict proudly for a flat white coconut milk extra hot. Never ever have a I met an employee like Myles honestly Costa please recognise this employee his energy his banter really uplifted my day. I travel for work all around the UK and always make sure I find a costa wherever I am. I never leave reviews but this is worth leaving a review for. He is what every costa employee should aim to be! I hope you see this Myles thank you!! Mustafa

Use to really rate this costa, but recently they have been missing the mark a bit, hopefully they will up there game soon

I have visited this Costa several times, the service is always slow, as it appears to be either understaffed when busy or staffed by teenagers who are more interested in there phones that customers. I have never seen it clean, behind the counter and tables are always covered with used crockery, awful.

Great little place, we only ever really use the drive through ( which you got to ask for a cup holder ) but when we do go in the staff are always friendly and do what they can to be speedy. Recommend the mint choc chip frostino with coconut milk, bacon baps are pretty tasty too .

Lovely coffee but bad timing, lots of cars going through drive thru as kids had finished school which seems to take preference over normal customers and so a very long wait to be served, it was good coffee eventually

Come in 3 evenings during the week, mostly in drive thru. Never have to wait too long to get my drinks and always taste how I expect, always hot enough, and sometimes my order can be a little complicated, they never get it wrong. I normally am served by Holly who’s customer service is great, she is always polite and friendly and always interacts with my daughter (she now asks to go to Costa to see holly), Harrison the barista in training is always very friendly too. I came in today and Miles (I’m pretty certain that was his name a cool guy was very friendly too, I cannot fault the staff here. Throughout covid a nice warm coffee at the end Of the day served with a smile always brightens mine and my children’s day! So thanx so much Costa Saltash

Wasted my time driving up there as the website says 9pm closeing time but the store closed at 8pm so tgere is no organisation between the store and website.

Good.It is a bit expensive .Today I got a toast sandwich is a bit to expensive didn't expected that coffee price ok.Service ok.

Lock down take-a-way and drive through only. Bit of a queue at the drive through but it was lunch time. No queue at the take out counter.

Friendly staff, hot hot drinks rather than warm. Toilet was clean and tidy as well.

Luv costa..the only complaint I have------ is it was that busy the staff couldn't keep up with the table cleaning..we was sat at a sticky table....but not the staffs fault..

Took me 15 mins to get a drink from the drive through. Absolutely shocking and no apology from staff

Poor service. Tables all full of dirty plates and cups. Had to clean our own table. Staff advised us of 2meter distance between us and other customer but yet came and stood very close to us to access fridge.

Staff lovely. Sat in for a Costa. Need to heat up cold glass cups as otherwise coffee cold very quickly! Otherwise serve drink in takeaway cup! Cafe area very cold- reduce the air con !!! Overall not great :(

Tables where dirty had to wait for ages for coffee

Its a shame not clean, toilets not nice, dust , and grub in sink. The lady with dreadlocks was rude, got order wrong, then told us to wait for 4 customers in front now, rude lady

clears the tables faster than other Costas so there's always somewhere to sit, lovely staff

This costa is excellent, more than excellent :) the staff are always lovely, the drinks are always awesome :) everything about this Costa in saltash is the best I love it and will go there lots and lots and more times than other Costas :) keep it up:) I recommend 100%

Costa very very busy staff were efficient and people were served quickly. Good choice of snack foods the seating area very clean. Not cheap but quite good value for a quality product.

Class place for those who just need to pick a drink and food up.

Not as good as most other Costa's... not so clean and tidy, tables not cleared, generally understaffed or staffed with less experienced staff. This place is fairly new so could still put down to teething problems but that cant last forever. Should be doing better...

FAITH RESTORED !!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been using this Costa coffee since opening day, I have got to know Rob the store Manager and his team well since then, however in August I visited my local site Costa Saltash and it wasn't good at all, It really surprised me as this site before now has always been spotless with amazing food and drink standards, my visit was on 21st of August and I was so confused by the standards on display I asked to see Rob the store Manager, One of the staff a female approx. 34 years old with loads of tattoos on her arms I think her name badge said Robyn? grunted at me and said he's on holiday. I realised immediately that the boss was not around, dirty tables, staff doing very little, queues of customers, empty fridges etc.... However I returned last week and the place is back to normal operating standards, immaculately clean tables, happy staff, quick service , brilliant availability on food, I had a catch up with Rob the store Manager and he apologised about the standards I witnessed in August and explained that he was working on recruitment and assured me Costa Saltash was back to its best and I must say I am delighted.

Having started my holiday with having to have my leg in plaster. I was craving a decent coffee, where I could access easily, actually find a seat without wacking someone with my leg 😂 This Costa was perfect. Plenty of seating inside. Lovely and clean. Friendly and polite service, from lovely staff Flat white was spot on and hot. I think we will back as a stressless experience.

Don't let the 5:30 opening time fool you, half of the time I've tried to stop by on my commute to work it hasn't even been open by 5:45.

Heard as for £1.00 filter coffee, great deal..untill you ask for a milk one and get black coffee. No problem I hear you say, well nope.. drive through order, you have to wait ages to cool enough as usually over heated. Miles down the road you find yourself tipping it out the window. Great deal indeed.
