I have stayed in the area for 6 months and this has become my home away from home for Coffee every morning and im happy to be there. My Dog is welcomed and enjoys being in there for the atmosphere. The staff are very kind and remember us though all the people that are there. I really appreciate that. Thank you Costa!!

The new layout of the tables is not regular customer friendly as it’s not inviting like before. It makes it a lot less cosy, and it looks messy.

Quiet store,but great staff and the usual gooies

My favourite coffee place in central London. Busy but usually not TOO busy.

Asked to use the toilet. We were adviced that the toilets are only for customers and we found this explanation very reasonable. Bought drinks and only then we were told that the toilets were not in operation.

Hidden away from main streets, it's a little less busy. Right opposite urban parking. If you have a long drive probably 1st place to stop sit , relax and have a drink.

Had a hot chocolate with my sister last week. Nicest Costa I have been in for ages and the staff were lovely especially Zaine who was charming. Great hot chocolate too!

Stopped in here on a rainy Saturday afternoon, and pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t too busy, managed to get a table for three quite easily. Coffee and food was usual Costa standard, lower rating was for the toilet facilities, they were really unusable, and even though they had controlled entry, code on your receipt, they had urine over the floor, seat and used toilet paper on the floor.

The best latte in my trip! Most Costas and Neros have only little foam but here I got enough and of good quality. On 12. of September at 1pm the service was fast and the girl making the coffee skillful and polite. I will come back.

I have been Costa Coffee Shelton street branch morden 2 years every day but last 1 week service no good I’m drinking flat white coffee I paid £3.85 every day but coffee so awful

I regularly visit this Costa on the way to my workplace in Seven Dials. Last week I was served by a middle aged man, who when I approached the counter said "can you say hi? we do that here." in a very sarcastic and uncomfortable tone. After I dismissed his comment, I waited for my order and he offered me a 'sweet' from underneath the counter to say sorry. He then got my drink order wrong and put my toastie as 'eat in' rather than takeaway like I'd asked. I will not be returning to this Costa; others seated in the cafe heard the barista's comments and were looking at me, and around to others, uncomfortably.

Excellent and quick service. Excellent wifi. A very welcoming and friendly manager.

A busy branch of Costa Coffee with lots of visitors to Covent Garden dropping in. The diahwasher was not working when we went there, which gave extra work to the staff and longer queues, however they were very efficient and polite despite this. Also the Costa points could not be added, however I was told to keep the receiptband the points could be added later atcany branch.

Normally I enjoy Costa Coffee a lot. But this time the employee was incredibly impolite. I got myself a porridge to eat in, he let it explode in the microwave and put it - or what was left of it- quite rudely without a word on my plate. It was nearly half full and the cup was fully sticking with porrdige on the outside. There was just one other customer, so no stress in the store, and he still did not even cleaned it. So I asked for some paper to clean it myself and he was joking at me how many more papers I still want to have. He just threw me the papers on the plate. I was staying polite but this is no acceptable Service in any way! (It was tuesday, december 12th, 10 in the morning, he was about 29 or 30, no hair on the head but a slightly beard.)

Came here for a break in the constant rain. For a Costa it’s very chill and calm. Good vibes here! Nice sofas to chill on and some benches and chairs. If you want to use the toilet then you need a code which you can obtain at the bottom of your receipt. Nice chill vibe in crazy noisy London. Located not far from Covent Garden tube station.

I never received my order the man said he was downstairs and I went there and he was not there but he still put that it was Delievered. I want a full refund please

there was this one guy in particular who told me to leave not even 30 mins before closing, didnt even tell me why? after some time another staff member just reminded me that they're closing in a bit. there was really no need to be rude

The lady in charge today wearing Costa Club shirt is so nice and helpful. I found my bottle leaked out in my bag and got totally wet after I ordered my latte, she didn’t hesitate a bit to lend me a helping hand with tissues and humors, which deffo saved my day and relived my anxiety. Love her!!!!

Nice place to stop for a quiet break. Service calm and efficient (possibly annoying if you are in a rush, but nice if you want a calm atmosphere). Food and drinks are reliably good, as are the hygiene systems. The washrooms need a code (so reserved for customers) but were not very clean when we visited (which I guess just depends on who has visited before you—I don’t think staff can be blamed).

A really lovely spot to stop by and chill. The staff are all very warm and couldn’t keep a smile off their faces! Will be back for sure the next time I’m in London.

Okay food and coffee but really rude and bad service. Three people are behind the counter and they still could not manage the number of people. And this is a not so busy time. Sarcastic and charming is good. But being rude and disrespectful to a customer is so bad.

Every time I've visited this Costa the staff have been very welcoming. One of my friends accidentally broke a cup and they were very courteous, although it was my friend's fault. I'd like to specially thank Mohammed who is a real credit and ambassador to the Costa brand. He always smiles at the customers and seems to have our best interests at heart whether it's sorting out app problems or ensuring we get great service. One time, they were unlucky to have some troublesome teens who came in and had begun causing trouble. The Costa team quickly dealt with it. Tons of Kudos to the staff for maintaining a clean great atmosphere in a very spacious environment.

I bought 4 2good to go bags as we were staying at the travel lodge just up the road. We ended up with breakfast wraps and toasties. The food was not edible. Its put me off coming here again. Even the homeless guy i tried to give it to declined the FREE bag of food

Take the mocha one if you love the mix chocolate + coffee. Nice prices.

We ordered and asked a girl (t think her name was Virginia) to clean the table where the stools are. She was already cleaning the counter. She totally ignored me and went inside chatting with her colleague. Th guy that made the hot chocolate for us, kindly clean the table for us, too. He was nice but overall the customer service was not great!

Been many times to this Costa but it was far too busy and staff could not keep up with serving drinks and maintaining place clean and tidy. Too many people for 2 toilets. Lots of chairs moved as some were large groups and so some table areas left with no chairs. If this is indicative of Xmas demand, they need more staff to cope adequately.

Terrible service chocolate was melted as left on top of hot coffee. Bag got to us drenched and coffee destroyed delivery driver said he didn't care and this happens, disgusting service won't be using just eat again

Very big and very nice to rest in the area. Of course coffee is always nice.

Food was disgusting, I couldn't eat it even though we were hungry after a 3 hour drive and were dashing to a show. Toilets were confusing with a queue caused by access codes. Tables were dirty. The coffee was not great but was drinkable. Last time I'll go to a Costa.

How can you send drinks with no cover to seal the drinks? Both drinks ordered spilt out in drivers bag. Complete waste of time and money!!!

Wi-Fi doesn’t work neither your own wireless!

Always a pleasant place to drop in for a coffee & a nibble escaping the hustle & bustle of Covent Garden. Plenty of space and usually seats available though there is one frustration, though some might find it a bonus! The structure of the building means your phone signal may drop out entirely and lately the Wi-Fi has been “out of order”. So hopeless for those coffee shop freelancers hugging one latte for hours as they try to turn a place for chilling out into an office. Must mention the staff here who are always friendly.

Comfortable and generally well-run café. Great place to meet up in Covent Garden. It's usually not too busy but I don't stay long because the WiFi never works. The walls are too thick to get mobile data, and the in-store wifi has been shockingly bad for years. Please Costa, a simple fix would transform the experience.

Been to this Costa a few times. Seating needs updating as some torn and stained. Noticed M&S food now on offer.

Good apart from the lack of WiFi You say you will send a code but the signal in your store is so bad you don't get it until u leave. What's the point of sending me a code when ai can't get it until I leave

Probably the best costa ive been in.

Nice little Costa hidden in Covent garden. Decent amount of sits in the sitting area and not very busy which was nice.

Service was prompt and the lady serving was very friendly and could not have been more helpful. As customer service should be but frequently isn't.

Great hot drinks and snacks. A nice location that is away from the crowds. Staff were pleasant and friendly.

Lady who appeared to be a manager not very friendly. We ordered drinks and toasties but after we had paid were advised that we would have to have a paper cup. My wife loves Costa and insists on having a China cup to drink in. When I went to collect our drinks the lady who appeared to be in charge (Spanish ?), Started to tell me very loudly that the dishwasher was broken and she couldn't call to get it mended because there was a large queue. I had already accepted the paper cup, although my wife was a bit annoyed as our toasties arrived on China plates !. Can't understand why she was raising her voice in front of everyone when I had not complained. Seems to be an excuse to clear up early by saying the dishwasher had broken, a ploy that appears to be used in quite a lot of Costa branches. Very poor customer service.

Store was very clean & tidy, all staff are very friendly. specially 'Ola' make very nice my ertra hot 'flate white' coffee. Thanks you so much Ola for making lovely coffee.

My new pet hate is coffee shops turning up their air conditioning to the maximum blowing very cold air during cold weather outside. One should not be forced to drink his drinks while shivering into his jacket. Especially after the staff had laughed in his face when asking for correction.

A generic Costa. However I feel like I need to mention the absolute legend behind the counter. 1 guy with a whole queue of people. He kept his cool and still made amazing coffee for each person. Didn't rush and produce sub par food and drinks, but he was working at an exceptionally high pace and standard.

Amazing service today. We had the 300 points to spend, despite a tiny confusion, all the female staffs were helpful and friendly. Also a very tasty strawberry and cream.
