Tasty made cappuccino Staff polite

We bought two Frappes, that tasted like nothing (salted caramel & coffee & cream). The toilet is also dirty and disgusting. I would not recommend this shop.

The cabinet was completely full. The restaurant was quite clean, but the service was rather slow.

The worst service I’ve ever seen the girl making the drinks was constantly on FaceTime with her friends balancing the phone on the coffee machine every body’s order was wrong no toilet?no cups?

Very friendly & polite guy on the til. However I'm taking off a star because my croissant was a bit stale, definitely not baked that day. I was here at 8.50am too.

Dropped in here for brunch with my aunt on our way to look round Buckingham Palace. Great food and drink as is always the case at Costa, and the staff were friendly and helpful as always.

Today I ordered a carrot cake with a flat white coffee. British carrot cake has a distinct flavor profile. It's usually light, moist and delicately flavored with cinnamon and ginger - and in this case, that's exactly what my cake was, thanks to Costa's bakery, which delivers fresh cakes to the cafe every day. The cake itself consists of grated carrots and finely chopped walnuts, which give it texture and a nutty character. Cream cheese frosting, often flavored with vanilla, provides a delightful contrast. Overall, it's the balance of sweetness and warm spices that make this a beloved classic. Furthermore, I would like to say that the Italian Costa Coffee was voted the best coffee shop in the UK and if you look at my photos, this must not surprise you. In addition to the carrot cake, I also had a delicious Salted Caramel Brownie and Millionaire’s Shortbread at this cafe. I also had lunch there a few times last month, and ordered the Creamy Mac & Cheese, Wiltshire Ham & Mature Cheddar Toastie, Pole & Line Tuna Melt Panini and BLT Sandwich, which I also recommend to everyone. Really nice Costa coffee. Cheaper than their main opponent and tastes as good. I thought that the coffee shop wasn’t too noisy, very clean, a real delight to have a break there after a long walk around the city. I recommend 💯

The hot chocolate was like warmed up milk after me asking for a very hot chocolate. I asked the barista what is this and she said hot chocolate I said I’ve never seen it this colour. It’s called hot chocolate for a reason. I was not impressed one bit.

I am not normally one to complain but my Christmas After Eight hot Chocolate is all mint syrup and hardly any chocolate. I will looking for a better one near home. Disappointed.

The worst service I experienced for a long time.

Say it is open until 8pm but they will kick you out of the seating area at 7.30 (they sold me a coffee at 7.20). Very rude when I asked why

terrible service, there were 40 minutes left to end the service and they didn't want to make a Frappuccino because they had already cleaned the machine to finish the day's calls.

I came. I bought a coffee and a sandwich. My mother too. Still she was denied bathroom under the false statement that it was out of service. I had just left the bathroom myself and knew it was ok. I said that and manager sair it had no paper. That if she had paper we could go. Well, she had it. And when she went in, there was paper inside… Do it yourself a favor and look for the closest Pret.

A normal Costa coffee but WORST staff experience!!! Super unfriendly and rude! They shouldn’t work there. It makes Costa coffee look bad. Since we arrived they replied to our request very rude. We wanted to use the toilet, they didn’t let me in and I witnessed 2 other customers go inside but when I asked if i could go in they would say no. When I confronted them, they didn’t answer why they let the other customers inside and not me, they were super rude and screaming.

Very disappointed, terrible customer service. Walked in today at 7 months pregnant (3pm) not busy at all!! and was craving a salted caramel frappe only to be told the ice machine was not working I could just tell by their attitude he wasnt bothered to make it, and couldnt care less. Not only that the drinks menu board above had tons of flies and flies hoovering around the food. Very unhygienic, avoid avoid!!! burnout staff, or just super lazy.

It's a very standard Costa. It's convenient for Victoria underground station. That's about it, really.

Small cafe, good for a quick stop. Staff are friendly but the manager is a bit loud, mostly due to his drive to be quick and efficient. Usual selection of passable offerings that aren’t anything to write home about but no complaints either. I was in at 7.00am for about half an hour. Everything was clean and ready for the day. Fully accessible throughout, including the loo with a flat surface from the pavement.

Small macchiato was nice but cost me £2.50 for what’s effectively a drop. Staff were a little grumpy.

Disorganised, noisy, no care for customers, profit comes first

The coffee prices have gone up considerably. Just two staff, no queuing system, dirty trays everywhere and the toilets were dirty with no toilet paper. Get your act together Costa.

An uninspiring slightly messy branch.

Not only was I given a warm welcome at Costa Cardinal Place, but a perfect flat white, strong, hot and creamy. Understanding that I wanted something plain to eat, Ashik recommended Costa's delicious seeded toast and marmalade. A very pleasant interlude in a busy morning.

If i could give this place 0 stars I would, staff behind the counter are incredibly rude. They refuse to listen to the customers, make the wrong drinks, and charge for a large size than requested. During our encounter, the guy serving us rolled his eyes and treated us very rudely as taking other people's drinks away. All staff are completely incompetent and 100% do not reccomend coming here. Service is disgusting. Furthermore, staff talking in another language to each other clearly talking about the customers and laughing at us when they are the ones ignoring our orders and over charging for water with red food colouring

Bestellung wurde leider falsch verstanden und hat im Endeffekt auch nicht wirklich geschmeckt. Präsentation auf den Bildern entspricht selten der Realität, hier besonders weit davon entfernt. Die Bestellung wurde schnell zubereitet und mit einem normalen Kaffee macht man hier bestimmt nichts falsch. Das Lokal war leider sehr eng bestuhlt und das Sitzen war nicht sehr einfach.

Staff kept coughing without covering mouth. No mask on any of the staff whilst preparing food. 1 guy kept coughing whilst making the coffee! 1 woman was touching her face/mouth prior to serving. Coffee cup being used multiple times on the filter machines to make coffees for customers. Cleanliness and hygiene seem to be lacking at this branch. 7th Jan 2022 lunch time staff from 1.30- 2pm.

AVOID!!! Came in as was wondering around london for my birthday, went to scan my birthday QR code for a free cake and got shouted at by the server “NO POINTS” quite aggressively. Definitely won’t be returning on my next visit to London

Attention to management was there yesterday after work around 6.30 pm. Served twice wrong coffee to my colleague. Most annoying that one of the team member was always on the phone even while serving customers talking different language.pleaee check camera time I mentioned.

Looked at me like an alien when needing to use a gift card. Also, clearly used sugar free caramel without telling me or asking If this was okay. Poor service, no smiles.

A very nice Costa coffee shop. Very clean and efficient service. Lovely atmosphere and great range of products. Cleanliness of toilets exceptional too. All staff took pride in what they were doing. A very pleasant visit 😁

Service really stressful, screaming a lot,

The staff here is extremely rude. They were talking to each other in a loud voice about salary and holidays etc and I politely requested them to speak softly. The guy was extremely rude and retorted back that that is how he talks. One of the customers later told me that the staff here are always rude. Why doesn't Costa capture such feedback and take action? The guy practically thinks he is Al Pacino. He even showed up his name badge so it was clear to me who he is, potentially to say one of the following: 1) he doesn't care about his job 2) his father is executive chairman of the firm 3) he is confused what his role really is. He made me and the rest of the customers embarrassed about being there.

Usually fine they need to be clearer about their opening hours though. Closing the seating area before the closing time is not ok.

A great branch of Costa. Better so than in Victoria Station

I ordered my usual Americano and also a almond milk decaf latte. Both very nice. I only gave 3 stars, as the interaction with the customers was lacking. No upselling , no promoting the 50% off food as this was Wednesday and no connection to any customer in the store while I was there. I assume in this environment (pandemic) customers would enjoy the niceties of how are you? Enjoy your coffee? Do you know about our 50% off. Suggestive selling like ..Have you tried our ..... etc This would have then been a 5 star! But the coffee was fine!

I like this Costa because it is clean, it has a bright and airy feel to it. A good atmosphere. The staff seem to be efficient and there are a few seats outside for the smokers. They always seem to have a good selection of cakes and food, and the coffee is nice and hot.

Very friendly staff, who make sure all customers are always feeling happy. Coffee is outstanding, one of the best of the many costa outlets I have been to. Overall I recommend this branch if you fancy a good cup of coffee or in the area!

Ample seating, enough plug sockets. The Coffee was whipped up quickly and tasted fine. The only issue I have is the lack of queueing space, but it's a solid trade-off for ample seating. Would come here again. There's even a toilet.

Worst Costa I’ve ever been too. Milk in Latte was off and coffee was flavourless. Asked for another one, which was then prepared with the same rotten milk and not steamed. Also got barged into by a staff member who was not looking, almost got coffee stains all over my suit right before a job interview. The staff member did not apologise.

This is a busy branch, being so close to Victoria station, but the service is fast and polite.

Always good service coffee and cake today

Reassured that my Costa card was scanned and points added, even though I literally saw them not put it through on the till. Didn't listen to my order and just gave me a premade drink that was sitting on the side. Could do with more staff so they don't feel the need to cut corners. Only upside is that it's a relatively new store so it's nice inside.

The worst toilet in any Costa I have ever been to. There is dirt and mould on the handrails in disable toilet :(

It does say on the door the closing time is 7:30, however the staff started to say to customers at 6:45 to leave because they need to clean. I think they should have a more clear closing procedure in place as this isn’t acceptable.

Locale pulito e caratteristico, con possibilità di un ottima colazione "all'italiana" con cappuccino e cornetto. Il cappuccino molto buono, danno la possibilità di scelta su 3 formati, e puoi scegliere di restare e rilassarti al tavolo oppure prenderlo e gustarlo mentre passeggi per la gelida città. Il confetto non ha niente a che vedere con il cornetto italiano, farcitura praticamente assente, e sinceramente non ho capito che tipo di collocato era, inoltre la pasta sfoglia non era freschissima. C'è di meglio!!

Costa is the best. Wherever you go. Their food is good. Their coffee is great. Something available for everyone and their reward scheme is fantastic. I can’t understand why other well known coffee shops don’t do similar. Although even if they do I will be back again and again to Costa. The best!
