Costa Coffee in Barnet

Popped in for coffee and lemon muffin today. Welcomed by a lovely lady with a big smile. Really cheered me up. Latte was great, muffin was fresh. Thank you.

Hi I buy quite a lot of coffee im from paradise bird shop. Mostly it’s ok . But today I have got a coffee and when i arrived to my shop and drink it it was a half a cup!!! My coffee was medium but was as a small . I’m quite shock! And I didn’t have enough time to come back to them .

The BOSH sandwich has an awful taste, however the coffee never disappoints, 10/10

A barista named Sadaf works here and she had the audacity to microwave my food as opposed to properly cooking it in the oven like it is meant to be! When I went the following day and ordered the same food item, it was cooked in the oven so I asked them as to why mine was previously cooked in the oven and they had no response other than: "you should have been notified prior to it going in the microwave if this were to happen." Sadaf also closes off a lot of the seating area as early as 6:30pm saying: "It's for cleaning!" when, in reality, I have witnessed no such cleaning happen until 7:30pm onwards! It is simply unfair for the customers to be asked to move/leave so early and new customers do not even get a chance to sit (since most the area will be closed off at 6:30pm even though the closing time states 8pm). All the other baristas are lovely and welcoming and tend to start their cleaning at around 7:30pm onwards and also prepare the food in a good, edible manner as opposed to Sadaf.

I had a similar issue with the barista named Sadaf. Kicked me out way too early at 6:30pm and didn't actually clean till the last 30 minutes. Absolutely disgusting behaviour since exams are coming up, did not expect this from Costa might have to go to another cafe now. Didn't want to but I am a regular here :(

Having been a loyal customer at Costa Coffee North Finchley for several years, I can't help but express my gratitude for the consistently outstanding service. All staffs have always created a welcoming and efficient environment. Thank you for your fantastic service!

If you enjoy standing in a line for 15-20 minutes while the person on the till flaps around aimlessly looking for a way to process a packet of mints then this is the place for you. Surely as a company that makes profit from items that require high volume turnover you'd make sure a) the people on the tills know what they're doing b) the ability to scan an item without delay and c) a manager who is employed to help execute above mentioned as oppose to just stand there staring at the long que. Apart from that the coffee is ok.

Dogs aren’t allowed in the shop as I have been told to leave with my dog. So I had to leave with my food and drink. Plus they didn’t know what pup cup is. That’s how Costa keep their customers and build trust with their clients 😅 Starbucks is pet friendly and give big pappuccino for dogs.

I burnt my tongue 👅...... 😭 Dammmm those insulated cups that are also bad fpr the environment. Bring your own cup.... it works out cheaper and not only that you'll be more able to tell how hot the coffee is inside.

North Finchley Costa, what happened in here? Staff very grumpy and not friendly at all. We ordered some food and drinks Mango Berry Ice tea (very disappointing product with no flavour).

My Kit Kat drink was missing the kit Kat chocolate treat and all the cream had melted

Looks small from outside ,but its long and thin like a sort of seated corridor of coffee.

This is a normal hot chocolate and not a toberlone hot chocolate like I ordered (there was also no cream)

Place has gone downhill due to change of management, all those options on the wall but you’ll end up getting the same cup of hot gloop. Seriously though, you’d think they’d teach the staff about steaming milk or making coffee in general.

shame that my local costa has really gone downhill. the staff could use with a coffee making training refresher - the milk is always either too hot so it’s burned, unsteamed (even for cappuccino) and the espresso is so bitter - no crema at all.

Nice refurbished Costa with lots of seating options in the back of the caffe. Prices are lower compared to other high street coffee chains but quality is on par. The baristas are friendly and give recommendations if you can’t decide on what to choose. We had ordered an iced latte with soy milk and a chocolate fudge brownie frappe with coffee - both drinks were nice!

Costa have been doing inconsistent coffee recently hence I stopped going as frequently and invested in my own coffee machine which I save £500 plus easily per year 😉 but the coffee at this place was an absolute ratatouille moment with the critic... I loved it.

It's a nice coffee shop, recently refurbished. It's open till 8 pm every day, which is quite comfy, as everything else around closes early. The staffs were very friendly. However, they have been changed completely just recently, so all the new Baristas have been going through a training. So, you can imagine, it'll take a while till they know what to do... In addition, there's a new 'improvement': WIFI is switched OFF for customers!

It’s been a while that we are paying for coffee which is going straight to the bin . The Costa in north Finchley has been starting to make terrible coffee All the staff are not trained and have no experience of barista

Picked up a nice hot chocolate drink. Average Costa. Difficult to park for a few minutes unless you go right into the big carpark in side street.

Advertising a drink which I’m told it’s not coming out til December while other stores are doing was on Costa Instagram saying it’s now on sale. Even another customer told them. I know the tills work told them where to find it but didn’t understand what I was saying very rude

Completely copacetic salted caramel latte - absolutely delicious! 😍 And really good service from the Barista too. 5🌟 I appreciate the 25p discount for using my travel cup, and somehow got 35p in Coffee Club loyalty card points as well. 🤑 Very very impressed indeed - and to think I was apprehensive about going to Costa again after so many previous disappointing experiences with various qualities of coffee, including burnt ones. More than happily come back here again. 😁

Customer service is gone down specially after only making delivery ignore the customers inside very late and most of the stuff not very good at training sorry is to be very good but now it’s gone down since start delivery

The worst costa so far, and I’ve been to a few. Every day when I’m buying coffee from here the order is wrong and it takes ages. How difficult can be to make a soya cappuccino?! Every time I order the same thing and they make a regular milk cappuccino, so I need to double check with them if they used the right milk and they always end up doing my coffee again and again. Today they needed to make 3 times the coffee till they got the order right. Outrageous!
