Toasted sandwiches were stone cold and so had become slightly damp and pretty grim. Can see on delivery bag it was packed ready to go at 3.54 but didn’t arrive until 5.30

This morning, I ordered green tea, which came in a pot and a tall glass. Unfortunately, there was something stuck inside the glass, so I went to the counter to request a new one. The young man at the counter was not apologetic, which I could overlook, but he asked me to wait because he was very busy. He kept looking at me in a dismissive manner, and when I inquired about the glass again, he said, “Can’t you see I’m busy?” I mentioned that my tea was getting cold, and he responded with unnecessary comments. I remained patient, and eventually, he handed me a new glass that was right in front of him. I couldn’t understand why it took so long instead of simply providing the glass without the rude remarks. I believe Costa should consider its standards of customer service to avoid such behavior in the future.

A typical on Campus Costa. I've only given it a 3 star for the coffee and food as I asked for cream on my Frappé plus two extra shots of coffee. The cream had clearly almost run out in the applicator as it came out spluttering and didn't cover the surface not did it have a cream mountain rather it looked as if l someone had got a desert spoon of cream and plonked it on the top from a distance. Plus there was no coffee in it. And yes, we paid for the coffee. So it wasn't very appetising. The cinnamon bun was dry to the point of being stale. I could have refused it, I know. But I didn't want to cause an upset durring a wonderful summer Sunday afternoon with my wife. Plus the staff seemed totally disinterested. So no, I won't be going back in a hurry.

Tasty food and of a decent temperature. Always love their coffee, also of a reasonable temperature.

The staff here are amazing! Always so friendly even when they are rushed off their feet at the start of a busy semesters day. This costa can very crowded at times. Especially during term times with students using this space to hang out or get some work done during a break

The only item worth having was the coffee. The food was cold and either chewy or dried out and crunchy. Yeuch

The drinks made by Lydia are always perfect. The whole staff is very polite and know the menu well.

told me they were shut 9 minutes before they actually were- when i asked “are u closed” one lady VERY rudely and abruptly replied “yes” and turned her back around on me

The gentleman who made my coffee this morning was very polite and friendly. You can see he takes pride in the work and that he keeps his working station very clean and I appreciate that. Thankyou

There was a female staff member with a mean attitude.

The waitress treated the non-native speaker very badly and even behaved in a racist way. I ordered an iced latte, she made a hot one and gave me a nasty attitude when I tried to change it

Our local neighbourhood costa and we love the atmosphere there. A mix of locals, students and child friendly.

Popped in for a Coffee and Toasty whilst visiting for my sons football match. Plenty of parking outside, plenty available seats including outside or inside. Clean and tidy. Reasonable prices. Caramel Latte was incredible 🔥. Service was excellent.

Not a good start , someone else and I was waiting on burguess side entrance. We were there 10 mins early. about 5 mins to, about 6 people turned up ,at the other entrance and when they opened they let them in first. The person that was on my side .turned around and left. Then when I got served my order was wrong. Not a good start to the day . But the coffee is Lovely.

Food was good, however the toastie wasn't cut in half, I work at Costa and every toastie should be cut in half, it is hard to cut once cooled down a bit. Other than that really tasty! I understand business but cutting toasties in standard.

All hot and tasty. Bread around sausages was too dry and chewy

Tables are filthy, mess all over the floor. They were able to keep it very clean during COVID but now they don't seem to care. Won't be going there again.

Food is not for me, as I am gluten free, but I will say coffee is better than Pret..

Not a good experience in this place, the staff there made the wrong cappuccino and insisted they are right🙄. The white male staff even made fun of me when I pointed out he made the mistake🙄

The service is very fast and the staff are very friendly! There are sitting spaces inside the store but it can get noisy. It is a nice choice for talking with people.

A small cafe on the edge of Highfield campus. Coffee and snacks were good, if a little expensive. A great place to work when it's not too busy - makes a nice change from the library!

Did not receive any of my items. Got a call from Zach from Costa saying the store was shut due to a flood and just eat would cancel our order.

I ordered a large latté and lemon drizzle muffin. Very friendly and quick service, it wasn't busy at all. Plenty of seating and clean and tidy.

Large busy branch of Costa that's usually bright and reasonably clean. Staff vary enormously from wonderful to OK, almost always friendly though. Some outside seating.

Lovely selection of sandwiches and toasted lunches. The desserts get sold out quite quickly and the coffee is always brewed quite bitter/strong. But there are areas to add sugars to your drinks, should you need it. Really great atmosphere - lots of armchairs and tables. There is seating outside also.

Came here to get takeaway coffees. Helpful barista and quick service. Not many people in here and some work going on outside so there is scaffolding everywhere.

I will start by saying the shop is incredibly clean!! So nice to see because sometimes it is hard for busy coffee shops to keep up with all the pot wash but when I went in it was spotless! Unfortunately, the staff aren't as friendly. I appreciate busy environments with not so polite customers can take its tole but I was genuinely completely conned. Asked for a medium white Americano to take away. Got to the counter and the cup was half full (i'm not over exaggerating). Asked if it could be filled up with hot water and got huffed at by staff. It was LITERALLY half full and they gave it to me. It's not like it was even a complicated order.. it was just water and espresso. I really appreciate that coffee shops are stressful places to work. I always let stuff like potwash go and am always pleasant to staff because it is a really busy and stressful job at times. However, this was just a bit of a joke. At least give people their money's worth for an overpriced product! Really disappointed.

Very long queue to get served as every student in Southampton goes there. Did manage to find a seat. Coffee was okay, but only got a half filled jug of milk for my americano. A bit of a wait to get some more.

The staff is lovely! And the chai latte is unique!

Good service and friendly staff. Visit made mid morning and was not very busy at that time. Kept clean, has a number of tables, with different styles of chairs, well spaced . Will return soon.

Good place i like a costa and have the app went in for a massimo latte to go. Was straight in served and out. Great quick efficient service and the coffee ☕ was also good too. This is the reason i gave 5 stars and will definitely be using again.

Every weekend I buy coffe from there . Every Saturday and Sunday they are on time there . Door are open 9:00 o clock at the morning. I'm really happy 😊

Efficient, good choice, covid safe environment and pedestrian traffic system.

Great place on the university campus to grab a coffee and a small bite to eat.

Coffee was good but service is slow here despite it being reasonably quiet.

Popped in out the cold and rain for a coffee and bacon bap which warmed me up but would have been better if you could sit inside

Excellent customer service and prompt. Perhaps the best baristas in Southampton as their coffee is close to perfection, especially the iced ones. Premises always clean, runs smoothly and feels warm and cosy even during the pandemic period when other Costa cafes feel almost clinical.

Pretty busy and a variety of drinks. Close to Southampton uni highfield campus.

Can be busy due to size, but has nice seating outside and the location is optimal

Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff that were super helpful. It isn't a huge coffee shop and can get busy so that makes it a bit cosy for seating. Food is served daily with breakfast until 11 then lunch on offer. Various meal deals are available so read the signs. Wide range of teas, coffees, hot chocolates and assorted cold drinks... The usual Costa stuff.

Lovely ambience and friendly staff. The furniture is well maintained. Here during holidays so unsure if busy during regular hours of business. Highly recommended and close to the University with good transport connections.

Busy place but pleasantbenough; close to Uni, so convenient to meet people.

As good as any other costa however they don't allow little dogs in (chihuahua). I know some will think this is good but it doesn't work with me. I will stick with Romsey and Totton!!
