Costa Coffee in Gloucester

Going back about a week and a half ago, I had one of the best experiences being served by a lovely guy called Alfie. It was so great getting to have a chat with him and he was very kind, this was at the drive through as well. ☺️

Honestly I don’t know why every single latte tastes like a cup of warm milk with no coffee in it but I’ve started sticking to hot chocolate.

Decent place but slow on cleaning the tables up so can appear a little cluttered and dirty

DT was closed but the store was open, not sure why. Service was fairly slow and messy tables.

very slow, disappointed, had to wait 20 minutes in queue just for 3 people to move, had to leave hungry😔

Enjoyed this coffee shop a few times while in the area. Now we are back home across the pond, I am missing this place. Great cup of Americano and Tea, lovely warm breakfast sandwiches, fab service every time. Love at first sip!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Costa, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience, primarily due to the outstanding customer service provided by Ben. From the moment I walked in, Ben greeted me with a warm and genuine smile, instantly making me feel welcomed. Ben's attentiveness and professionalism were evident throughout my visit. He took the time to listen to my preferences and made thoughtful recommendations that suited my taste perfectly. His knowledge about the menu was impressive, and he described each option with enthusiasm, making it clear that he is passionate about his job. What truly stood out was Ben & ellie Rebecca ability to make each customer feel special. Despite the café being busy, he managed to attend to everyone with the same level of care and attention. They maintained a cheerful demeanor and was quick to address any requests, ensuring that the service was both efficient and personalized. The strawberry bubble farappe itself was delightful, but it was Ben’s exceptional service that made the experience memorable. He went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed, and his friendly nature created a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. In a world where customer service can often feel impersonal, Ben's & ellie Rebecca outstanding service at Costa was a refreshing change. His dedication and genuine care for customers are commendable, and I will undoubtedly be returning for both the excellent strawberry bubble farappe and the superb service. Thank you, Ben, for making my visit so wonderful!

Delivery Time just getting pushed back and back and back

Worst experience after using previously. For an order of 7 drinks 1 is missing and nothing is labelled - can’t phone Costa directly or speak to delivery person as phone conveniently cuts off

We called in just for coffee but decided on some toast & marmalade aswell. Served by Dave Reynolds who couldn't have been more helpful. Once he'd taken our order, he said for us to take a seat & within minutes brought a tray over to us. He then cleared the table next to us on his way back ready for the next customers. Service with a smile, polite & happy to help. Thank you Dave for a very nice visit, we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Popped here to meet a friend I'd not seen for a long time. I don't drink coffee but had a nice hot chocolate with soya milk.

Rubbish. Support local businesses instead.

Wow, I have to tell you about the incredible service I received from Sophie today! She was absolutely amazing, so friendly and polite. And let me tell you, the store was in tip-top shape! It was just perfect. I can't even begin to explain how happy I am with the customer service I received. It was truly top-notch. And not only that, but the store itself is such a lovely place to relax and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee. I can't thank you enough for such a wonderful experience.

Never received order but said delivered

Fairly busy Costa Coffee tucked out of the way in Gloucester's triangle, close to the Morrison store and just off the main road. With the usual Costa service including drive-through. Service was as you'd expect. There were a few empty tables when we arrived, all of which were cleared, no dead cups or mugs which seems to be standard at most coffee shops these days. There were quite a few comfy seats. Disappointed that some of the comfy seats appeared heavily stained and marked - they could certainly do with either a good clean or replacing. Drinks standard, although surprised that when we ordered my skinny latte there was no size choice offered 🤔.

Love Costa, favourite place for nice cuppa. But I will say unfortunately is getting very expensive for coffee. Nearly £5 a cup

Arrived half full as spilled in the bags (all 3 drinks) and cold.

Standard cup of Costa coffee, which is acceptable but not outstanding. However the place was filthy. Dirty floors, food and crumbs in the folds of the chairs and a loo that wasn't terribly nice, all rather put me off the experience.

Great place for a quick drink and some cake.

Unfortunately I would recommend the staff to wash properly crockery, especially cups and pots.

Only had a drive though but perfect temp and a lovely drink.

Small and relatively quiet, but one of the more efficient Costas in Gloucester.

Food is pricey, but was nice. Service was good, but part of our order was missed and we had to remind someone. Very polite, but everyone seems to have a headset on and taking drive thru orders as well as serving front of house. Would be better if someone was dedicated to taking drive thru orders to allow others to properly concentrate on in store customers. Feels like the staff are expected to juggle multiple stations which doesn't seem right.

Loud. Extremely slow service. Mistakes. Too hot inside and not particularly well cleaned.

Convenient location. Lots of parking. Has a drive thru. Lots of staff. Zero wait. Very helpful staff. Clean. Toilets on site. Outside seating available. Next to Morrisons.

Really enjoy visiting this Costa as it is run by a great management and team that create delicious coffee, personalised hospitality, and ensures that the place is always tidy. Highly recommended!

This, out of the way coffee shop is on The Triangle. Despite this, it has a busy drive- through and, at times, busy coffee shop, which, at times, is understaffed.

Lovely staff simple but good quality food and a mango smoothie to die for. We'll be back next week

Sadly I won’t be returning.. went here 2 weeks ago for a meet up with friends and our babies. Needed a quiet place so that’s why I suggested this Costa as it’s always quiet. Spend 3 hours here and spent a lot of money on drinks/food. However today I got an £85 parking fine for staying over the max stay as it’s a privet land? Yet I parked in the area that was for Costa customers. Apparently it’s a max of 2 hours in that area? I had no idea Costa and their tiny car park was a part of the “privet owned land” it’s ridiculous.

Had an impromptu business meeting here, room between tables, so you don't feel clostrophobic, good service by friendly staff

Lovely stop off, relaxing atmosphere for good snacks & drinks ..minimal staff so you can catch it on the wrong day with tables being messy.

Bought white hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream no marshmallows and the hot chocolate didn’t taste chocolatey and the barista was miserable

Staff are quite unfriendly and forgot drink extras on the order, had to be reminded. Panini’s we’re nice but soup bowl had dust and dirt all around the rim. No apology from staff, but they did make a fresh one when asked. There were enough staff working but many tables hadn’t been cleaned, even when there was no queue. Have visited a few times and there has always been a problem with opening hours/food not heated properly/food served on dirty plates.

Came through the drive thru, bigger lady served us, she forgot the cream on my drink, kindly asked for the cream, she took it back without saying a word, and then she put on the smallest amount on there! Also she forgot my gingerbread man. Not the best trip to costa I’ve had.

Always a great coffee at Costa but, also discovered a Chia latte, which has become my new favourite.

Service was terrible in fact I did not get served, at counter! Walked out after 9 minutes. Two members of staff, one busy chatting whilst making coffee, the other plating up sandwiches. No other person waiting. A quick acknowledgement would have helped!

Really good as long as you've got loads of money

The staff are always lovely, quick service times generally have everything required. The kids love coming here for an bacon roll while mummy enjoys a coffee ☕️ 😋
