Costa Coffee in Watford

Absolutely ridiculous that they cannot take out the ham out of a sandwich before warming it up. The staff refused to do this and stated that this is due to health and safety. Well implement a system whereby you can, instead of forcing people to eat your set menu, in 2025 I would expect that there would be alternative options in place. Terrible

I went to Costa in Asda and the Romanian girl that she was serving us was the most horrible person that I have met. Very disrespectful and rude with customers. I will never go in this place again because of her. It wasn't nice for me in front of people to argue with her just because she had a bad day probably .

I regret to inform you that I was deeply disappointed with the quality of the shakes we ordered. The flavors were either overpowering or completely deviated from the expected taste. However, I must commend the hot chocolate at Costa, which remains exceptional.

Best Costa around by far! The quality of the coffee is always spot on! Even on a busy day the staff are friendly and get your order done quickly. Definitely recommend to all coffee lovers out there!

Every single order made something is missing, half a cup of coffee arrives and the latest coffee I bought tastes like a cleaning product, absolutely terrible and the most miserable staff on earth

This Costa is in Next at the Atria Centre. Comfortable seats which are usually dirty or stained. Has attentive staff but service is slow. The lattes were somewhat bitter as is usual nowadays. It seems that Costa is using a cheaper blend of coffee than of yesteryear. Why is it all about profit? UPDATE: Visited today 14/04/23 and had a small latte. It was just like drinking hot milk. If you ask for a takeaway you get two shots, if not a takeaway cup it's one shot. I won't be forgetting this in future. Anyway, the really disappointing feature of our shopping break was that the almond croissants were stale. I am quite serious about this, £2.20 for a stale croissant? I should have complained but the queue was too long. Also, a lot of the chair seating is stained and dirty. Not forgetting that at some seats the overhead lights are directly in ones face and they are very bright.

Lovely little Costa inside Asda. The drinks are great as they have the best baristas ☕️ Lovely and friendly staff who care about the customers and their needs. I’ve been going there regularly, deffo my favourite coffee place 💕

Any time you have a coffee shop inside a supermarket it's a good time. Do a little shopping then chill, or in my case just turn up and chill. Anyway, I appreciate the good service, the nice food, I didn't see the young man's name working here but, give that guy a raise.

Food is always good though the coffee was not as good as others. Staff were ok though not as Friendly as at other stores.

The coffee was OK, the chocolate cornflake cake wasn't great (not sure what it was made with but it wasn't chocolate!) but I am giving 5 stars as I saw a member of staff gently and patiently take some time to help a gentleman with his mobile phone.

I aways enjoy costa but they don't always make same coffee, I guess depends on the barista. This was the case that coffee didn't not look and taste as good thats why i am rating in 4*

Very comfy seating chairs and the staff are really friendly. My go to choice is always the Fruit Cooler and they did not disappoint today 🥰

Really good branch of the chain. It is in Asda, and can get busy, but there is always plenty of room. Staff do a great job too, even when they are short-staffed and the cafe is busy.

Rude unhelpful staff when given the wrong order, they assumed a substitute due to one of my drinks being out of stock without telling me & refused to change it when queried. Not the usual Costa standard of service!!!

At of my visit which was on Friday staff was in big hurry closing and it was only 4pm shameful this place dispute been insider of Adsa was a lovely place to sit and enjoy a cuppa, staff was polite but in big hurry

Very nice coffee! Try the Ruby Hot Chocolate which is my all time favourite. Don't take the cream on it.

I went to Costa today, so glad there is now one on my usual route. However I was soooo disappointed to discover that their food items are now cheaper to eat in than take out. This was the other way round prior to COVID-19. Also you can't get the cheaper option because you can't sit in because of Covid. That is so poor. Costa cashing in, I will remember that when we get back to normal and they reverse the eating in to be more expensive than taking out. Shame on you

One person serving a very long queue of people. Got my order wrong three times. In the end just sat down with a very mediocre cup of coffee and went without eating.
