Costa Coffee in Broxbourne

A great place in the middle of town with great staff. Despite me arriving near to closing time they were happy to let me have my food and drink inside

Karolina, the barista maestro, Andrew, and Sam the manager, are all wonderful staff members, every time I come in, which by the way is almost every day, I am not only greeted by smiles, but by warm welcomes and amazing service, one of, if not the best Costa within Hertfordshire in my opinion, and I have been to Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, Hoddisdon, Broxbourne, Ware, and much more, however Broxbourne has the by far the best atmosphere and service speed. I would recommend this place 9 times out of 10, to almost all of my friends (unfortunately most are not coffee drinkers) however, with the wide variety of drinks and food, not limited by caffeine makes it the best place for meet ups with friends, old or new! Please continue to do an amazing job, everyone at Costa Broxbourne!!!!

I visit a lot and can’t fault it. Really friendly and helpful staff, great coffee, always clean and well organised even when very busy.

Great staff always friendly and smiling especially Eva and artur always making sure everything is perfect, The atmosphere is cozy and nice, certainly my absolute favorite go-to spot as a local. I really enjoy spending my weekend mornings there when I'm off of work, every single cup of coffee hits the spot. Well done guys!

Staff are nice but the turnover is CRAZY. Rarely stick to opening hours which is a massive pain as someone that works locally and thinks they’ll be able to get a later lunch to be met with a ‘sorry, closing at Xpm today’

Fantastic service by Huda and Artur as I’m a regular they know and always make my coffee super quick, would recommend this store to anyone

Staff member very direct and clinical, shouting when was time to leave as they were shutting soon. Just felt the staff member was too harsh. We're not coming back as go most days..

Used to be a great coffee shop. Unfortunately the turn over of staff means that it has gone downhill. Coffee shop not as clean as it used to be, staff not as knowledgeable (person serving me was being trained by someone who had only been there a week!) ordered 2 oat milk coffees and had to take back as milk burnt- was looked at like I was crazy, so then had to explain that it couldn’t be heated as much as normal milk. Changed but had already been in the shop for 10 minutes the first time of ordering (3 ubereats/similar delivery service were being done when I arrived and got done before the queue of customers in shop. Not good. Can get better coffee in bakers

A very friendly Coffee shop with great Cappachino's and Marks and Sparks food if required. Well done the Costa Team.

Staff are always super happy and friendly. Fast and tasty coffees and hot chocolate.

Worst coffee shop ever they need to get rid of the manger as she clearly doesn’t care and is always laughing at customers and talking behind customers never going in here ever again.

I have never had a bad experience at this coffee shop. The manager is very welcoming and friendly. He always makes sure to say hello and ask how your day is going. I love how comfortable it is there. Whenever my friends and I go study we are never bothered by anyone. The coffee is also great! It's the perfect mix between bitter and sweet that I love. I highly recommend stopping by and checking it out for yourself!

Wow, slowest costa iv ever been too. The guy in there literally drains my soul, coffee so inconsistent, dont think any of them know how to actually make a coffee. Sort it out costa!!!

Has to be the slowest Costa I've ever been in 5 staff one making sloooow coffee and the other 4 doing well not alot really !

Came in to do some work, the staff were screaming amongst themselves, started to move all the tables and chairs around me whilst I was on the phone, dusting cobwebs above my head. A very noisy atmosphere between the staff who dominate the shop floor.

Unfortunately they prioritise UberEats etc so as a walk in customer you have to wait quite a while to get served, its ridiculous! I went in today and waited over 20 minutes for a small latte. I know it isn’t the staffs fault, but they need more if they are going to be doing deliveries as well as people who come in!

It was awful! I ordered 2 flat whites which was just warm and tasted like a latte and I ordered toast which only had one side toasted and was cold, the butter didn't even melt ☹ All in all I'll not go to that shop again whilst those so called baristas are still there which hopefully will not be long 😡

How difficult is it to comprehend “make the tea in the cup” no pot, ah well next time!

Coffee is the same as every other Costa but my god the service is slow, 2 people in front of me and still took over 20 minutes to get served. I would think its more time effective to drive to the next town to get a coffee.

New manager. Extremely slow service. Be prepared to wait. The top notch customer service that they used to have, disappeared... Staff look unhappy. Definitely not recommended anymore.

Visited Broxbourne Costa today and as usual served by extremely friendly staff. But unfortunately, a member of the public became argumentative to a young Filipino staff member (sorry I don’t know her name) about wanting to sit at an area which had no table and closer than 2mt to other people at designated table. She handled the situation very calmly and politely/professionally. But after the man left was very upset. So please give her a pay-rise for all the stress that she and the rest of the staff must get from people who do not realise we are in a pandemic!

One of the best costas I’ve ever been to. The staff are friendly and really lovely. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

This is an amazing place to be ...!! Great staff and service is a top notch.

Fantastic place for a coffee and meeting friends. Nice are around the back, where it's more quiet. The shop is clean, there's a decent selection of light lunches with a new addition of Mac&Cheese pasta. There is parking available and the shop has wheelchair access. The staff are nice and friendly.
