Very busy but fantastic service 👏

Went there today and well dissatisfied as the toilets are disgusting with paper all over the floor, short staff so slow getting served and the tables are rocking and teas all spilling out of cups and in our laps, do not recommend this costa

Half of this restaurant is closed of by 4.00pm! an hour and half before it closes!. When you sit inside staff are literally cleaning around you making you feel rushed and pressured.

to 8.43 am, I placed a coffee order using my app, and by 8.57 am, I had arrived to Costa Pitsea. What's happening with my coffee? I inquired of the girls staff at 9:03 a.m. They make it... this has happened before. This is the place to go if you want extremely slow service!

I like this coffee shop, the staff are always really friendly. But I wish they would make you aware when they have run out of things. I spent 20 minutes queuing up only to get to the till and be told they didn't have oat milk. If there was a sign up I wouldn't have wasted my time queueing.

Great Costa, staff always chatty and friendly. Service always good and the restaurant is always clean when I go in there. Food and drink exactely what you would expect from a Costa

My daughter tried the coffee and liked it. Smell of real coffee and very quiet place for conversation and view.

Busy and noisy so atmosphere not brilliant but it is what it is. Nice cup of tea

It's was not too busy at anytime okay then to have some cups of tea or coffee.

Terrible customer service..young lady who was doing the frappes looked like she was asking to be sacked!!!...slow wasn't the word..unfortunately she was slowing down the the other two who were doing their best but and taking the flack because she was slowing them down

A great place to grab a quick cup of coffee and a sandwich. Can be quite busy at times but the staff work hard to clear the queue. Seating is available inside and out. Parking is onsite. Toilets, including a disabled toilet, are located at the back of the store. Friendly and approachable staff. Close to Pitsea tesco, Aldi, and other large stores located in the area.

Visited this costa to day and had a coffee but in truth it was more like hot milk. Also one was shock to see a fly flying over the cakes which in its self was a health hazard. And the rest of the place look messy and need someone to take charge.

Rocked up at 3.50 pm for a coffee and ALL the seats inside were unavailable. We were told we can't use them as he had just cleaned them. Were they expecting some A list celebrity? Who's the customer here. They're not supposed to close till 5.30. This is not the first time it's happened. Someone needs to tell the staff that the customer pays their wages.

Bought 4 different coffees on Sunday 27th March around 15:30 and made a mistake of at least not trying my own. All were terrible!! Tasted of very little in the worst way, my large mocha didnt taste of chocolate or coffee, and a large is 4 shots. Even the Frappa was awful, how can you get that wrong!! Next time I'll drive to Basildon.

Very nice Costa with friendly staff. Definitely trying hard to satisfy everyone even on busy days. Outside massive car park so you shouldn't have any problems finding a space for yourself. Nearby places like Lidl, the Range, Caffee Rose, Boots pharmacy and few other stores.I would recommend it to others especially that coffee was always good and everything as expected in Costa.

Staff very polite if a little hard to hear due to the environment. A coffee morning as you would expect it to be.

Slow to busy with just eat/app orders. Staff especially manager needs training on how to make coffee. Dont expect to pay so much for coffee which is made with very little care. Better off going to McDonald's. Costa has gone downhill since it was sold off generally..

Just been here drunk a cold over priced coffee slow staff not familiar with their own products

The drinks were good but we had the dog with us so couldn't go inside. Every outdoor table was taken, even though people had finished their food and drinks. So we had to sit on a public iron bench by the shops to eat our cake and have our drinks. Not once did any staff from Costa come out to clear tables,which usually gives a hint for people to go and let someone else who was standing waiting, use the table. We certainly would not be going there again.

A little strange review I gave them five stars although they got things "Wrong" the reason for this is the way they corrected their mistake , efficiently with no hassle I personally found them polite and courteous 👍 The location isn't the most salubrious but they try and make the most of it

Always busy but that just shows how lovely the coffee is. Staff always smiling and so happy to help with whatever you order is, its such a treat. Covid restrictions being adhered too so feel safe visiting. Most staff seem to know how I like my coffee, which is so great 👍. Keep up the good work ☕

This is a small costa with limited seating indoors and some outdoors in full sun on a deck. Service was good, quick and with a smile.

Wasnt terribly busy,but myself and the other customers were spoken to rudley by, i think her name was kelsey, they are not handling covid restrictions well atall. Will not be returning as the service was slow and the coffee was not the usual costa quality.

OK, just the normal delays,staff do their best but people still rude just don't have the manners or patience

Nice little Costa, staff always friendly and welcoming.

Not handling Covid restrictions terribly well. No indication as to whether you have to wait outside or come in, and no direction once in as to which way to queue. The assistant was quite short with me when I got it wrong, despite moving to where another member of staff had pointed me.

THE PRICES COSTA CHARGE I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THEY COULD HAVE AFFORDED A TOASTER .THE BREAD IS PUT IN A OVEN AND ONLY GETS DONE ONE SIDE . ASK FOR IT TO DONE BOTH SIDES AND GET YOUR HEAD BITTEN OFF

The lattie coffee is nothing like Costa I won go there again. I also wanted a sandwich but was told ...we only do hot sandwiches in the mornings.????????

I’m addicted to all Costa’s . The cakes and sandwiches are lovely. Staff friendly and efficient not to mention quick.

They overcharge you and if you question it they make a seen so it's pay up or don't come back attitude with you so would ever go back to them

We had a lovely time here chilling out waiting for some of the group meetup people's to turn up, while we was waiting we had a latte a mocha hot chocolate and a few nibbles bits to eat the area where we sat down was clean the table was clean the toilets was cleaning also you're such a nice place to chill out at Costa

Friendly staff, good selection.

One of my favourite coffee places, and honestly, the only place to get a decent coffee in Pitsea. The staff are usually great, and the store is usually clean and tidy, but you can tell when they've had a rush as the staff haven't had time to clear the tables - granted, it seems like some of the customers have been trained to eat like wild animals and leave their tables in a mess, but it would do the store and staff a favour if there was an obvious "put empty cups here, use this if you spill your drink" place.

Costa is one of my fave places, ok, my fave place to drink coffee, I visit the pitsea store at least once a week meeting up with a friend for lunch. It's the newest of Costa's around the area and it's definitely improved, to start with it wasn't great but now the drinks are always great, food is nice, altho it varys weekly to what they may have in or not. Only thing I would say is I wish they would warm up the latte glasses first, I always can drink my latte within 10mins, but may be that's their plan so you drink more. Lol.
