Prezzo in Basildon

We arrived here for a nights dinner as a cuple , although the food was ok and the service was ok to start . The kitchen forgot to cook our mains waiting over an hour and a half , the tables around us eventually left , leaving us asking for our mains several times . Our waitress left and other staff were not attentive , they smashed a bottle of pepsi over our clothing and never apologized. The experience was poor , if I was prezzo I would be discussed.

Starters - no taste and only 4 small Prawns Mains - bolognese was more water than spaghetti and no meat! Dessert - the only nice thing I had but the smallest portion. Not worth the money. Feel totally ripped off !!!

What a wonderful lunch to begin 2023. Prezzo Wickford proved a warm, welcoming experience ... and the food was great too! We had the Christmas set menu with its wonderful range of options for starters, mains and desserts (most of course available on the current main menu). Portion sizes were generous and the Truffled Gorgonzola Burger was an absolutely delight after all the recent Festive fare. Add to that the tasty Lemon Meringue Pie and Tiramisu we finished with, as well as the reasonably priced drinks and very friendly and efficient service, this was (to repeat) a great way to begin 2023!

Looking for a night out to celebrate my birthday. Have been to Prezzo in Wickford a few times over the years and have always had a great meals. But tonight Sat 22nd October the meal was very bland. In the past you could get a seafood linguine, this has now been reduced to prawns in a tomato sauce which had no taste at all very disappointing. Also the atmosphere was not there. On a plus side the staff were attentive and friendly. Don't know if it is down to the after effects of covid or the ongoing war in the Ukraine. Unfortunately I will not be going back for sometime.

I understand there are not many decent place to go in Wickford, bu this has got be the worst. The staff were reluctant to greet us because they were too busy trying to shut the resultant at 9 pm. We were made feel like an inconvenience. The food was awful and staff's reaction to feedback back equally nonchalant. Well good luck to your!

Ordered off deliveroo , food came cold and had to microwave it. Contacted the restaurant about it and wasn’t much help at all and was told to contact deliveroo direct but delivery came in half hour so surly it’s down to prezzo. Meal cost £34 for 2 carbonaras and only got refunded £7. Not acceptable and wouldn’t recommend!!

Great service, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Food is always good. First visit to this particular Prezzo and I loved the design and atmosphere and it seemed quite spacious too.

Had lunch here recently with family - great food as always. The squid is some of the best I’ve had, and the pizzas were great. Love the kids menu, and bonus that it comes with optional broccoli. Service could have been a little friendlier, but food came out in good time. Will happily return.

I took my mum and dad to Prezzo's in Wickford last night for a family celebration for my mum's 80th birthday and her 60th wedding anniversary. The staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating. Mum and dad are advancing in years but the staff were so lovely to them and us, allowing us to have a cake with candles and they all sang happy birthday. I love the layout of this restaurant, it is open and relaxed with the tables a nice distance apart compared to other similar restaurants and yet it still has a buzz and warm vibe to it. One of my things about any restaurant is that you should always be greeted at the door no matter how busy it is. I go to this restaurant about once a month since it opened years ago and they always do this well. The food is always hot and nicely presented. We had a mixture of pasta pizza, burger and chicken and all were tasty. Sometimes I go to restaurants and staff just go through the motions, but in this restaurant they genuinely want you to enjoy your visit

Nothing special really. Nice restaurant but the food is just average. They didn't have any carbanara so my son got a chicken burger which he didn't really like. I had chicken rusticana which was really salty and okay. The kids menu was good and worth it but the rest wasn't great and its expensive for what it is. Next time I will try Tony's. Wont be going back. Restaurant workers were nice and friendly though

Really lovely visit, food was delicious portions are very good size, the service was very attentive. We had cocktails and mocktails which I would highly recommend. Will definitely be coming back soon.

Like the rest of the country, we hadn't had dinner out in a while. It's a favourite place for my daughter and I to occasionally catch up out of the house so an obvious choice for our first post lockdown dinner. We had a lovely time, unhurried and food was lovely. It was busy for them and they apologised a couple of times that things took a while. It was a little slower than usual but didn't cause us any problems...maybe wine could have got to the table quicker! Olives, gluten free spag bol, chicken, bacon & avocado salad and chocolate fudge cake were all delicious. The stars of this place are the team, really warm and went above and beyond in terms of customer service. I don't have names other than Jess who was absolutely lovely, like others very busy but gave her time without seeming rushed. We'll definitely be back soon

This is a great place for tasty hot food. To be honest I have my favourite dish whenever we visit Prawn Linguine :) Always tasty. The staff are very friendly and service is always great. Highly recommend.

Went here once for my birthday. Had to take a loan out for my wife's glass of wine. Won't be going back. Prezzo is not my idea of a genuine Italian meal.

We regularly eat here and have always found it to have good food and service. Portions are always quite large. You can use tesco vouchers otherwise always a deal on the Internet. Recommended !

The food was good, but the wait for it was to long, at least an hour between courses and we had to chase both courses , and put us off having dessert !!

Visited this is restaurant last night for my granddaughter 13th Birthday, we had a table booked for 7.15 and had to queue at the door whilst they sorted the table out, then waited ages to get a drink. Eventually they took the order and waited a fair while for the first course but then had to wait well over an hour for our main course! Almost walked out but the 'kid's were hungry, it was almost 9.30 before the main course was served and hillarously my huscanband was only waiting for a case of salad ! (Obviously takes a long while to cook! Would never go back

My boyfriend and I went to prezzo for a quiet evening meal, the waiters were extremely rude especially the young boy working there. Food came out an hour late and was cold and bland. When we asked to speak to the manager, we was told we was in the wrong and if we don’t like it we should go somewhere else. To be quite frank from the experience we had, we won’t be going to prezzos anymore and neither should you.

We went to Prezzo for my sons birthday he is a long term patient in hospital nearbyWe asked if we could use a voucher we had offering 2 4 1 meals and was shown which menu to pick from to make use of this offer.When my husband went to pay we were charged the full amount.I asked my husband to check they had discounted the bill. He returned saying they hadn't and could do nothing about changing the bill.I was so disappointed. We were paying for staff who had to attend with my son as well as friends and family so it ended up being expensive.The restaurant was quiet but service was slow with food arriving very randomly and liqueur coffees we ordered arrived half an hour after everyone had finished their coffees and we were leaving.We had four different people waiting on us so communication was poor we had to keep asking and reminding different people of things we had asked for.Manager very cold and unhelpful!!

Held a Birthday Celebration for my granddaughters 6th birthday with the family. Menu choice and food was very good. I particularly liked the decor and ambiance but why oh why do servers not clear the plates before another course is served. We were eating deserts with some starter plates and dips still on the table! Apart from this a very enjoyable experience

Nice venue tasty food, good menu the birthday celebration was Unfortunately marred by the fact we had a voucher for buy 1 main meal get 2nd free The voucher was shown to our waiter who didn't scan the voucher. The meal was paid for by our host who didn't realise the voucher hadn't been applied when he realised he asked for the bill to be voided & the discount to be applied which was refused. What a great shame I really felt this could have been addressed & myself along with the other 7 guests will be reluctant to patronize Prezzo anymore

We visited here to celebrate my son's 5th birthday with family so there were 15 of us. We placed our orders but due a problem with the ovens, the entire kitchen and/or the tills not working (pick any since the staff couldn't seem to decide what the problem actually was) we still had not received any food after 1.5hrs and so with 4 hungry children we had to leave. We did see others receiving food in that time so I wonder if the issue was that we were a large party with a voucher offer to use? We didn't really receive sufficient explanation as to the problem or offered any concessions although we did say when we left that we weren't planning on paying for the single drink each that we'd had. Such a shame as we visited here fairly often as my children enjoy the food. Because it was a Sunday we struggled to get booked anywhere else. Really awful customer service especially given we were there to celebrate a child's birthday.

Very enjoyable lunch. Service was friendly and competent. Food was delicious. Just no hassle, just the lunch we hoped for. We enjoyed some recent menu changes. Perfect really, polite, prompt and delicious food.

This has to be one of the best restaurants ever! The service there was amazing I went there yesterday with my family and we were welcomed into the restaurant by a lovely guy named Luke,he sat us down and gave us time to see what would we like to order.Then he came back to us with a beautiful smile on his face,we ordered our food and he came back and gave us our food with again, a beautiful smile on his face.This guy was so nice I recommend going to This prezzo and requesting luke,amazing guy.He started conversations with us and he had some amazing jokes,it was quite entertaining thank you Luke for an amazing time! Will be coming back soon!

Lad called Luke was serving me, my glorious cousin and my spiffing auntie. Luke strutted over to us almost instantly to take out drink orders but still gave us enough time to think and order! Luke was so considerate as he catered to our every need including bringing us some more sexy chilli. Throughout the meal, the legend made sure we had everything we had everything we needed with a constant smile on his face, so refreshing to receive such wonderful table service! The fella was so good at making us laugh and creating small talk which was very friendly and added to our happy vibe, he cracked a few banging jokes which had us lolling! Then after we were leaving he went to an extra effort to turn around and loudly and proudly wave us goodbye as we sadly ventured for the exit! We look forward to returning and request Luke the Legde (short for legend) as our waiter! Love you the most Luke! We recently visited Prezzo, Wickford as a family and was very satisfied. We have not visited a Prezzo before so didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. The setting was very clean, modern and bright. The facilities were also clean and modern. The food was a real positive. All portions were very large and offered great value for money especially the kids menu. The service was very attentive and welcoming. Overall a great value convenient meal.

Went on the spur of the moment .and as usual we had a lovely meal .both had pasta based dishes .all washed down with sone nice spritzers and a lively bottle of house red yummy

We recently visited on 8/7/19 there were 5 of us, one being a vegetarian. We were sat to our table and within 2 minutes of being given the menu we were asked if we were ready to order our food. We weren’t ready so asked for a couple more minutes to which the waitress rudely rolled her eyes and walked off. She then came back to take our food order as we were ready. She took the first member of our parties order (the vegetarian) which she asked for penne arrabbiata and wanted to add mozzarella to it. At the time I didn’t think the waitress was listening properly as she tried to move on to taking the next persons order before she had finished speaking. The food came in a good amount of time and all was well until she started eating the penne arrabbiata and discovered their was chicken in her pasta not mozzarella!! We called the waitress over immediately and told her and she didn’t even apologise all she responded with was “we will get you a new one” definitely put a downer on our experience when we have visited this restaurant and many other prezzos so many times

The staff are always really nice to me and my family. The food is exactly what you'd expect at a Prezzo.

This had great potential but sadly the speed of service let them down a bit. We went with the 2 little ones and they really liked the food but we waited nearly an hour for our mains to arrive and the restaurant wasn't busy. There were 3 other couples who came, ate and left in the time it took for our dinners to arrive after starters by which time the kids were hungry and restless and despite getting activity sheets and crayons (which were a blessing in heignsight) it still didn't make up for the fact that 3 pizzas and a chicken salad took so long. I don't think i would go back as it put me off a bit considering it was pretty empty. Sadly disappointing because the kids loved the food and the drawing sheets and their menus were pretty good too. Not blown away sorry.

Given our wide range of dietary requirements required by our party of 10, I was very happy for the options available on the menu, except for the dessert which didn't cater for these requirements.The staff were very accommodating and the taste and quality of the food were good. Would return if I was in the area again.

We used to really like it here. The last few visits have been less good with long waits for drinks in particular, but today was just awful!We had pre booked and put a special note that it was my Son’s birthday. Previously we have seen they put balloons and decorations out for a birthday. As we entered a waiter came over and gathered up a selection of menus without even looking at us. He then grunted “you booked?”. We said yes but he didn’t even take our names and there was no table set for us. My daughter was given a menu that some other child had drawn all over. An equally grumpy waitress then came over and asked if we were ready to order when we had barely sat down. We asked for a new menu for my daughter and the lady bought a toddler menu instead. When we asked for a children’s menu she argued and said she looked too young (she is 7 and looks old for her age). She barely spoke any English and we had to point at the menu we wanted. She still didn’t understand, at which point we decided to leave. Absolutely appalled!

Always well received by friendly staff and always good food Service prompt and very polite . As called early evening and not too busy they had time to chat and make the evening more relaxing

Had a voucher from red letter days . £10 per head , went with our friends on a Friday evening . Got quite busy during our visit but this just made it better. Although the choice was a little restricted we all found something we liked. Well the starters where great , meat ball , breaded mozzarella and brochette. The mains even better carbonara extremely creamy . Cheese and pepper pizza lovely and pepperoni pizza so tasty , and all the portions where large . Sticky toffee pud and tiramisu to finish with what a great meal . The staff where all very convivial and helpful. Somewhere we will definitely be going back to.

I took my family son daughter in law and 2 teenage grandkids for lunch. The restaurant was very clean and well presented. The staff showed us to our table immediately on arrival to our pre booked table. Drinks were served promptly by a very attentive waitress. The selection on the menue suited all of the differing needs. Can recommend this for all informal family groups.

Booked online but no record of our booking on arrival even though I had email confirming it was booked. Restaurant was very busy for a Wednesday night but seated quickly. Serious staff shortage were obvious and the service was fairly slow but not surprising with Costas the only waiter helped by the manager (I think). The food was all excellent and service not too bad considering the lack of staff. I wonder if they pay Costas double as he was doing the work of at least 2 waiting staff? He certainly earned it tonight but somehow I doubt it. In the circumstances they did a decent job but I really hope the Company appreciate the effort.

Went here for last minute dinner.Had calermri to start found a human hair in the batter. Sent it back. It was replaced swiftly.My wife had some beetroot dish for mains which was dry and tasteless. I had king prawn spaghetti and was up all night with the runs. We shall not be coming backGondry down hill.in my opion.

Got a buyagift voucher for a three course meal from a limited menu that we did not really want. Found out subsequently that they just docked the value of the voucher from the bill and could have had what we really wanted rather than be restricted.Misleading.

Went to this restaurant with friends yesterday and we sat at the back near the window. We had a lovely waitress who could not be faulted, she was helpful and made sure we was satisfied through out. Even went the extra mile to ensure we had the perfect drinks! However we incurred a service charge that was too large as the food was not up to standard. We refused to pay this as the kitchen did not seem to deserve it, but the rest of the restaurant can not be faulted.

Booked a table at prezzo Wickford for dinner with friends. When we got there we was left waiting at the door for 5 minutes while staff just stood talking to each other then was greeted by the manger who just looked at us moody. Was shown to our table and given menus. When he come back we asked if we could have 5 more minutes to look at the menu where he huffed and walked of. Can’t fault the food it was a nice meal. My friend was still clearly eating when the MANAGER come back and started taking our plates so my friend said sorry I’ve not finished yet.. he huffs again and walks off!! Comes to the bill where we was short changed so I went to the till and explained this, the manager says no I’m not i said yes and showed him the receipt where he had put in less then I gave him. He then gets a note out of the till and THROWS it at me to which I have to scrabble around to catch it. I’d this is customer service at these restaurants I won’t ever return. Better Customer service in McDonald’s

Convenient it is behind Car Park Little bit clinical but staff friendly Limited menu and not my cup of tea but my family enjoyed the meal

While you can’t go wrong with Prezzo, I do feel slightly bad leaving an average review as they are usually pretty good, but this is my first visit to Wickford branch and it was pretty average to say the least.It was fairly busy for a Friday, but not every table was in use, so should was hopeful that the service would be ok, granted they had a couple of big tables in, but by the time we arrived they were nearly done.We were greeted by a friendly hostess who sat us and gave us menus and almost straight away we were asked what we wanted to drink without seeing the menu for more than about 15 seconds. Friendly but eager.We ordered food and then the wait for food seemed to take forever. It was at least 30 minutes for starters and then about 30 for main, and the fries on one of the dishes were anemic in colour. The calzone while very nice, had some gritty : fatty bits of meat. While that can’t be helped, it always puts me off when you have to remove what is in your mouth as it was quite unpleasant.The incorrect bill was handed to us and we were waited on by multiple people. While they where all very nice and helpful, the waiting time and overall means it was an average visit.

We turned up 10 minutes before our table, to be told we didn’t have one booked I have an email confirmation to confirm this . We then sat down and waited 20 minutes just to order drinks... we orderd starters and mains when we orderd me and my friend wanted fries to be told the chef had burnt the oil in the fryer so they can’t do fried food?! But the table who came in after us had plenty of fries!!! We then waitied 40 mins for starters!! To mine the mushrooms coming out burnt!!! I sent them back and they said they would take them off the bill. Our mains came out was ok, the garlic bread I orderd with my main completely the wrong one came out! The lasagne was ok but needed crispy up more on top!! We orderd more drinks during our mains and got these after we finished once we asked AGAIN. The bill came out and we was then charge for the mushrooms, the starters we waitied for 40 mins for, the garlic bread they had to bring out after we finished our mains as it was the wrong one, the 2 extra drinks we waited our hole meal for, overreal very very poor!!! And to be offere dessert on the house wasn’t good enough!! I agreed I would pay for, one starter which was my friends one lot of drinks Mains without the garlic bread and they agreed but originally charged us the hole lot?

A Wednesday early evening meal was pleasant. Food was good and served quickly. Waitresses were polite. Italian type menu that could do with an update, so we basically knew what we were going to eat before we arrived.

A very spacious restuarant in wickford never been before to wickford itself that seemed ok as well the food was good and we had three course menu for fourteen pound good value the staff where mainly European and very friendly just for a brexit spin. Will go again if in area x

Went midweek without booking ,no problems ,seated straight away , ordered our food and drink and it was delivered quickly , food was lovely as is it always . One of my favourite restaurants

Have been to this Prezzo before so we a had a voucher from Buy A Gift for a Christmas Present. Had a lovely evening and the food was great as always.

Prezzo has many shops so alot of people have visited and the menu is widely known.We visited at 5.30 on a friday evening in December and they found us a table in a busy dining room without booking so that was a plus. i ordered the meatballs, which were £6.70, and found that only two arrived on my plate, so i felt that was extremely overpriced for what they were.I had the Ragu pasta, it arrived luke warm and the meat in the ragu whih was supposed to be slow braises and tender was hard and chewy. I did not enjoy my evening my my wife and friendboth assured me theyenjoyed their mains (Lasagne and spicy calzone)Personally for a similar price and menu i would chose ASK italian every time rather than prezzo, even if they food is of a good standard, which this evening was deffinatley below par.

First visit to any Prezzo. Really impressed by the quality of the food. Felt much more expensive than It was. Great value for money and lovely friendly staff. Will be back soon.

Tuesday evening we went to friends with Prezzo. The visit turned out to be disaster. We waited 30 minutes for drinks. Staff were not interested in us at all. They no cleaned glasses and plates after dinner. Atmosphere was not really nice. Generally the restaurant looks neglected especially toilets. Just food is good...

always lovely food, friendly helpful staff, tables cleared away quickly, although drinks did take a little longer to arrive

I know that people have mixed feelings about restaurants which are part of a chain by I have always found this restaurant to be very good. The staff are all friendly, the restaurant is always clean and inviting and the food has never disappointed me.

The restaurant itself was very clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The meals chosen were very nicely presented and tasty. The only reason for the lost rating star was it didn't quite match up to the quality of our local Prezzo in Braintree, which we cannot fault.

Visited with family great service from very warm and welcoming staff food like always great king prawns starter follow by salmon was very good choice. Definitely worth to visit.

Great place with delicious food posh pepperoni and margarita royal was the best pizza I ever had. Babiana and Tiago took great care of our party. We definitely be back.

We felt very welcomed as soon as we entered the restaurant. Staff were very attentive and friendly throughout and food was lovely. We all enjoyed our pizzas and my 2 year old enjoyed the veggie pieces to start and munched down the main mini pizza and banana pieces for dessert. Will defo return. Was a lovely family dinner.

So I’ll start off by saying I love Prezzo and we order a take away from the Rayleigh store at least once a week! So tonight I was going to my friends for the evening and she lives in Wickford and suggested a Prezzo takeaway. Tried to order online and it was down. Tried ringing the Wickford store and it was engaged and I tried calling 30 times. So I thought I would pop down there.... well shame on you Prezzo Wickford your customer service and staff are disgustingly rude!! I walked in and I explained to the waitress I wanted to order a takeaway, she abruptly replied I should order online, explained that the website was down, she then barked at me that I should have called it through, again I said the phone lines were constantly engaged. She turned to her Manager and said something to him to which he hummed and arrrhed at me and said it would be about an hour wait! No apology at all. They basically didn’t want to serve me! So I rang the Rayleigh store and ordered over the phone and it was ready within 10 minutes! Safe to say I will not be using the Wickford Prezzo ever again!

Visited here on a Monday night , seated quickly then it went down hill. Ordered two starters one was wrong , taken away while we shared one. After half an hour the mains arrived, but strangely the calzone and pizza we had ordered turned into a burger and risotto , no apology from waitress who then put this order back on the hot plate for twenty minutes to then take it to the couple next to us - it wasn't their order either! 20minutes later another order arrived,you guessed it folks , not ours. With great patience we waited another ten minutes before requesting where our food was. This was greated by what can only be described as nonchalant rudeness ... By the manager. To paraphrase Michael Cane in the "Italian job" we only said 1 calzone and 1 pizza Appalling service , as we were leaving one waitress announced "come to prezzo in Brentwood , it's much better" ... Well bully for the residents of Brentwood.

Tonight (31st August) 3 of us arrived for a booked evening mealDrinks ordered, 2 arrived correct - 1 G & T arrived, no Gin, wrong tonicMeals ordered, starter arrived, 45mins went by, an assurance received ‘food on its way’ 1 hour later, observing other customers mains arriving whilst they were still eating starters, we gave notice of our dissatisfaction and leftThe most disorderly restaurant experience ever!!

I visited family for 5 nights having come over to the UK from Barcelona. I booked a table for 7 over the phone as had issues online. The member of staff was very helpful and confirmed my booking back to me. We arrived on time and was seated immediately. They were quite busy and we had lots to chat about so was okay with a bit of waiting. I don't liked to be rushed anyway. I had a 30% voucher off of selected food. As well as this a voucher for a bottle of prosecco which was also taken as it was my sisters birthday coming up. They do not usually take 2 vouchers but they made a good will gesture for me. The food was hot and very tasty and we all left full to the brim. The staff were very attentive with us all and we had a lovely bit of girlie time catching up. When back in Wickford I would definitely go back and I know my family will frequent this restaurant too. Well done and many thanks to all concerned.

Came here for lunch with the other half and it was amazing, good was great, the atmosphere for lunch was great and staff were very friendly and helpful.

This was my third visit to this prezzo, one had slow service, one had the slowest service ever and today the speed was reasonable.Having a waitress who understands English should be a must in an area where the customers are pretty much all English speaking. Today we had trouble ordering Pepsi, seriously we were using hand signals! When she brought the food and drinks she was struggling too and was asking us questions but so quietly we couldn't hear/understand her. Luckily a senior member of staff took our main order but from then on in we were struggling, in fact we ordered a couple of things we never got.It was a shame we were in a hurry to leave as we should have asked for the service charge to be removed, a £10 tip was way too much for the service we got.It was also freezing from the aircon, if it had only been me who felt cold I would have brushed it off - but our party of 8 all felt the cold, even the teenage boys!The food was all as expected for Prezzo but Ill do myself a favour in future and go to Chelmsford, where the service and setting are better.

Pleasant venue, good menu, polite and efficient staff, ideal for a get together with friends or family. Car parking nearby in council run area. If you want a leisurely meal, in no rush, then call in.

Have eaten here before with family but revisited again this time just as a couple. The staff were as always friendly and attentive and the food excellent. Good service and great food at affordable prices. Looking forward to returning again soon.......

It felt like they were a bit short staffed. Food was good although it would have been useful to have been offered a pizza cutter with the whole uncut posh pizza. Even a steak knife would have been better. I would have asked but it was difficult getting someone’s attention. Still a nice place to eat in Wickford and we will be back.

If you have a VERY long time Prezzo Wickford is for you.The food is of good quality but I don't know if the management tell the staff to be slow and chat amongst themselves but that is what happened. I would not go here again to be honest.

Shocking service tonight, every part of the meal was missing a dish, which arrived 10/15 minutes later after being asked for twice!Drinks that were ordered not brought over, so asked a further 2 times.Free bottle of prossecco was charged for which shouldn't have been.Moody waitresses that didn't understand just nodded, twice saw waitress ignore other customers on other table calling out to her.Appalling!Employ staff that understand English and are capable of taking orders and smiling, it's their job!!!

We both ordered pasta dishes. The food was tasty and fresh. Service was quick and attentive without being obtrusive. Price normal for Prezzo's. We would visit again.

Visited this branch of Prezzo with some friends for an evening meal.It was extremely busy and very loud.The waitress was very matter of fact and not very welcoming; probably because she was rushed off her feet.However, she showed us to our table and left. Another waiter arrived 10 minutes later for our order. There was a good selection to choose from.Our drinks arrived quickly and our food not long after that. The food was very nice and well presented.The toilets were not in a good condition and very small. As with other Prezzo’s make sure you use your taste card to get even better value for money.It was now not only busy and loud, but getting very hot. Despite this, we had a lovely meal but probably won’t return to this particular branch.

I've been here many times with my mother and elderly grandmother. The staff are always so kind and make my mother and grandmother feel so welcome.

service good ,food very nice a little bit over priced I think but was good quality I would go again maybe I picked the wrong meal pasta and chicken

This Prezzo is one of the best I've ever visited, from the friendly welcome to the very efficient service to the varied and extensive menu, the excellent food tastefully served and the reasonable prices. First class, will be back!

We had a family lunch in prezzo last week for my mother’s 92nd birthday. This is her favourite restaurant and she loves the food and the lovely staff. Anna put a candle on her dessert and the staff sang happy birthday which made her day. This is typical of the friendly, kind staff there and together with tasty food makes it a great place to go. Highly recommended.

we went to prezzo in wickford yesterday evening. it was our first visit to this place. IM very impressed. despite the fact that it was busy, we got a table without prior reservation and we did not wait long for food or srinks. the service everyone was very nice, they advised us what to eat. posh peperoni pizza is the tastiest one. thank you for my preszzo service for a nice evening. for sure we will visit wickford next time we visit the UK.

Oh dear, Prezzo could you be any worse?!I thought last time that Prezzo was awful when we visited, but this time was even worse.We have it one last chance, but it tragically failed!We visited last time and I had a pizza with a hair in it so complained and got a voucher to apologise. We decided to pay one last visit tonight and got awful service. The staff just don't seem to care about the service at all.My daughter got a fried mozzarella served with houmous instead of tomato sauce. The waitress obviously blamed it on the 'New chef' however she clearly failed to notice the mistake.As there was no cutlery next to us to eat our main course with, she rearranged it so that we had enough by taking it from the set up space next to us and giving it to us. When the food finally came we had to ask for a spoon to eat with as the waitress had given us a fork and knife to eat mine and my daughter's spaghetti with.This was the last chance Prezzo! Your chef and serving staff just don't seem to care about the food and service.It's such a shame as I have visited other Prezzos and been amazed at the quality of food and service I have received. So disappointing!

Italian food is not something I normally choose to eat out, as I cook probably cook more italian food than anything else at home and former italian meals out at different chains have been disappointing. However, my husband was very kindly given a birthday gift voucher by his boss . We were both blown away by the food. Even on a limited voucher set menu, I still had plenty to choose from by way of starter and main in spite of celiac disease. comparing the set menu with the gluten free menu was so much easier than other places I've been. Eating out can be a minefield.When it came to dessert, the only one of the four options that I could actually eat is something I'm not keen on, so I asked the lady dealing with our table whether it would be ok to swap it for something from the standard menu of similar value and she was happy to do that for me which felt lovely and personal. So I even got a dessert that I could enjoy.On the whole it's actually been one of the nicest evenings our my husband and myself have had in a long time. We're definitely going back, and we're taking the Child with us next time.

Had a very enjoyable lunch at this Prezzo restaurant. We enjoyed the piadinas which were also very reasonably priced!Great 3 course kids menu for £3.95! Service was good, particularly from who I believe was the manager who took most of our orders. Friendly and efficient without being pushy Wish I’d had room for dessert!

We've been several times as a couple and with family and friends and we've always had lovely food, service is excellent and friendly staff. Worth checking the Prezzo website for offers too.

We had a celebratory meal, food was great service was great. Eaten at my local branch many times and I can honestly say that we have never had a bad experience. In summary a very good and pleasent place to eat.

We purchased a Buyagift voucher for a 3 course meal with a glass of wine for only £30.00 and booked a table for me and my wife, The food was EXCELLENT but it was quite noisy as their was a group of 10 people sitting nearby, and our table was very close to the main road so we also had the sound of traffic going past.,

One of the best place to eat in Wickford. I like food in prezzo and was many of them I have visited already. This one has amazing service. Aleks look after us and it made our evening really nice. Hardly recommended

Lunch was delicious. Plenty of choice and food arrived hot and very well-presented. Staff were very helpful and attentive. We will definitely return. 'Click on ratings wouldn't work for me but I rate all at 5.
