Costa Coffee in Doncaster

Amazing place love it here A customer was rude to one of my children and was acting like a child but at least it wasn't the staff

The staff are always welcoming; friendly and efficient . I always find the coffee to be well made and nicely presented and the range food is good

What lovely staff members!! The gentleman (Ronnie?) who served us noticed my daughter was wanting to try something she'd not had before but was anxious of doing so (she has autism) and when given the choice changed her mind back to the comfort of her usual order. He kindly made her usual order and then a sample size of the one she was considering so she would know for next time! It's such a little kindness but very much appreciated. Thank you.

The products, as most know, are great! The customer service...not so much! It wasnt overly busy, and we were served today by a middle aged women whose name tag said "Trivena" but whose receipts pointed to a "Kim". Trivena ignored us for a good 12 minutes while chatting, before taking our order and telling us "YOU won't have a Costa card" before marching away! I have a couple of tattoos I suppose, and my partner is disabled, but unsure why the likes of us wouldn't have a reward card! She then proceeded to not put the lid on a drink, which poured all over us and not once offered a paper towel or apologised. So no, this place may serve decent food and drinks, but we won't visit again thanks to rude, negligent and abrasive staff.

Pleasant surroundings, hot chocolate can be an issue, depends on who's serving but they are fine about changing your order if necessary.

Always good coffee and food friendly staff.

Good little Costa, gets very busy at times and popular with shoppers at Wheatley Hall Road. Flat white was spot on, the food was cooked well (not burnt) and the cakes 🍰 were nice and fresh. The tables were clean and tidy, the staff friendly and service was fairly quick. Toilets 🚻 are on the 1st floor, at the back of next. There is a disabled toilet and baby change room there for use. Fairly spacious. All in all a good trip and as expected from Costa 🤩 Thanks for having us 💞

I purchased two large coffees and two toasties. One of the coffee had to be made twice as the cup was dirty, They didn’t realise one was decaffeinated so had to make it again only for it to be delivered to the table in a dirty cup. By the time I got to sit down to eat my toastie I only ate half as it was cold and couldn’t eat any more. Very disappointing I go to Costa regularly but have never been so disappointed.

Visited costa in Next today with my little boy. Aaron’s customer service was exceptional, he is a true credit to their team. Served me firstly with my hot chocolate, very polite. Then I went back for my sons - he ensured that the member of staff making my sons milk free drink, cleaned the machine correctly before making his and then even came over to our table with a takeaway cup when he realised he was struggling to make it easier for him. Wished us a good day which is not very often you hear! Whatever you are paying him isn’t enough thanks Aaron

Service was very friendly i went in to get my free coffee and a toastie...! when asked if I would like a cake for £1 I obviously said yes please but another staff member said you can't have both free coffee and a cake for £1 so I asked if they can take off the cake please they said yes sure... but when I paid by contactless phone I noticed I was charged £6.75 instead of just £4.45 which was the price of my toastie as the coffee was free... when asked about it both staff members apologised saying ooh we charged you for the cake sooo sorry and I got a refund without question. So just check what you've paid for as mistakes can happen.

Service and drinks were awful sat at drive through for half an hour when asked how long it will take got told they had in store customers as well but a drive through is a drive through not sit and waight half an hour to get served and the contact number dose not exist DONT USE COSTA AT WHEATLY unless you have all day to waste!

Went into shop today and was disgusted with the behaviour of your supervisor Aiden And another member of staff towards a member of staff called Victoria who they were giving viscous looks at and nasty comments infront of me a customer which was not nice to see or here when asked to speak to a manager to report this Aiden replied I’m a supervisor to which I replied that he was been very unprofessional to which he just smerked I will not be going back to this store ever again

Fab service lovely latte staff so friendly and selection of snacks was phenomenal xxx

Tasty hot cheese and Wiltshire ham toasty , and hot bacon butty nice cappuccino and flat white very busy at lunchtime today 12.15 pm served quickly an didn't have to wait long for hot food pleasant staff and smiling, 5 stars

Nice coffee, there is an issue with families grabbing tables before getting served making it difficult to find seating but that is just the usual rude, selfish behaviour that is becoming the norm in Britain.

Same as any other coffee shop, I only went in there while my car was in the garage and I had several hours to kill. I find these coffee shops to be very expensive and vastly overrated

I love Costa coffee. My favourite.

the place was not great, food all over the floor, tables with trays of empty pots. No knife given to cut my sandwich no napkins offered with a sticky bun. Four members if staff but not one cleaning the tables of sweeping the floor. i was shocked, it didnt used look like this evening at lunchtime..

Always have a Costa when visiting next. Just unfortunate you have to wait about 15 mins to enter the cafe due to covid restrictions.

Strict Covid restrictions so limited seating. Staff were attentive. Ham and cheese toastie and coffee were lovely.

Very well organised and very clean. Only one thing unsure about and that is registering on app to mark I was there.

Excellent, felt very safe, there are cards on the tables so you can fill out your Track and Trace info. The drinks and treats were fab...staff friendly and you can see all the cleaning down they carry out.

Absolutely love Costa Coffee. Have to travel to a drive-through at the moment as the high street stores are still closed. Drive-through staff are very polite and will make you any coffee to your liking.

Today the coffee shop was really busy but there seemed to be only two girls working. There were no cups cleaned so our coffee was in a takeaway paper cup. Our coffee was good although we waited longer in a queue than usual. The young women could not have been nicer or more apologetic for the wait or the cups. It was not there fault they were in a horrendous situation.

Love this little gem. Inside a next is always a bonus. Relaxed, friendly, good views from seating area. Can be a little slow to serve therefore a que builds up but other than that can't fault the place. Always to an fro here. Great meeting place for family an friends. Lovely food. I recommend the breakfast wrap & toasties also fruit teas or lattes. The xmas version is yummy. Gingerbread man an cream are welcome touches heavon on a cold winters day x

Brilliant coffee and friendly staff.

Thought it was going to be very small and cramped being inside Next, however it's actually quite big, nicely layed out & friendly helpful staff! Only suggestion would be to add more toilet cubicles as can be quite a queue when busy.

We spent nearly an hour in here without realising it. We were sat in the big armchairs, very comfy. The staff were nice, the drinks were nice and the carrot cake was to die for.

The coffee was good, but the cake we had was dry and stale, which was replaced without question, the staff were friendly and helpful but why is it always so cold in Costa, they could definitely save on air conditioning

Most staff are very friendly, but for some reason all Costa shops are always dirty and tables full of pots. Most of the time you have to clear your own table, maybe they should leave a portable hoover too for customers to clean the seats and floor! Only one more comment is the air conditioning, its warmer in M&S freezer section than in Costa.

The staff at this Costa coffee are so unprofessional on a number of occasions you here them kicking off or chucking things about when under pressure the shop itself is always a mess and never tidy. I am not one to usually comment on service but it is terrible here. The staff are always taking about getting new jobs and it doesn't seem to be managed well at all

I'm probably the odd one out but I met a friend in here and found it to be extremely expensive and because I'm a pop lover found it hard to get a drink I actually enjoyed. I know these places are popular but i think its just overpriced for coffee that's done a million different ways by someone called by another fancy name

The only main problem with this Costa is at weekends there simply isn't enough seating for the demand.
