Awful trying to get served . The girl at the serving was more interested in taking to her friend about her date last night rather than serving the queue of customers in the end l went to the McDonald's for me coffee

Late delivery, missing items- horrible experience

Order was late, one sausage bap missing and second sausage bap cold. Driver was all over the place on the map so not sure if he was lost or had multiple deliveries.

I went here yesterday with a friend and the staff were very chatty and very friendly- A member of staff named Leonardo was very helpful and created a welcoming atmosphere for a coffee stop! Highly recommend!

Pop in here regularly as it’s close to where I work and have always found it to be quick and efficient. Never get my orders wrong and customer service although not giving the wow factor has never been really bad. Drinks and food good!

Lovely frappe sitting outside in the sun

A pleasant atmosphere where I love having breakfast, is quiet and the staff are super friendly. In particular, Leonardo pays great attention to details and is very helpful in ensuring that the service is perfect. I always come back very willingly

This Costa is inside Next outlet. There is another branch just walking distance away. The cakes were delicious but their coffee was average. Not the best in town. But it was good to try them out. The atmosphere was comfortable and ideal for catching up with friends.

Driver called as requested and even offered to help as I was on crutches. Croissant tasted more like a prepacked one rather than fresh.

Delivery driver obviously got hungry...seal on mac n cheese was broken and half of it was missing! Also 2 slices of cake missing. Not costa's fault but i hope just eat fire the driver responsible!

We nipped in for a coffee, but unfortunately, neither of us got what we wanted because they didn't have the right ingredients and had to change our order.. But the staff was friendly and the service was good..

Really annoyed, 3 baristas, none seemed to know what they were doing. Got an order wrong 2 customers before me, then spilt the following order. I placed my order, one of the coffee's (mine) was soya, due to being lactose intolerant. As I'd witnessed the wrong milk being used in the order before, I asked they confirm the milk was soya, I was assured it was. I didn't drink it all as it didn't taste right. A couple of hours later I knew that regular milk had been used as I was extremely ill. This is not acceptable and actually potentially really dangerous. I will not be returning.

Dropped in with the family to meet a friend after shopping. Wasn’t sure what to expect considering reviews. However it was fine! Staff were ok (server was actually chatty & pleasant). Tables were clear & being cleaned while we were there. Coffee was good although not a great selection of pastries or food. So, ok & better than a number of national coffee shops

I enjoyed my vegan pannini. There isn't often much choice for vegans so I was happy to see the pannini. Hot chocolate made with oat milk was lovely. Everything hot and fresh. Staff friendly

The customer service is amazing, staff are always incredibly helpful and friendly.

They was outside, rang said they would take it in but they never did. Says delivered but it wasn’t. The only reason I’ve given one star is because I can’t submit with no stars.

Service was ridiculously slow as its been on my last couple of visits. Seems to be enough staff but not organised. People are allowed to walk in, sit down, order on the app for takeaway (came in after us but got drinks 5 minutes before us) and then sit in and eat. I appreciate its not easy to police so is it a case of if you can beat them join them. Also the place is not as clean as it should be. On the other hand the Costa in the Next store a couple of doors away is always run smoothly. Having tried this Costa again we'll be returning to the other one in future.

All I got was a bottle of water no food

So it was delivered but with the hit drink missing. Driver did go back to collect and took food with him. when he git back all of it was barely warm and a total waste.

Because of staff like Eiissa and corissa they always friendly, give ideas on drinks, make us feel really welcome. Fantastic customer service.

Poor, slow service. Told to wait for my food, then asked to come back when it didn't all fit on the tray. It should take 20 mins to get a coffee and toastie when there is only one person in front of you.

Coffee is great here supplemented by seasonal drinks and cakes. Staff friendly and helpful. Just the place to kick back at the end of a long day at work!!

I like my Costa here because of the very good staff and the company of other people.

Came in for an ice cream soda, only to be told no ice cream available, so I picked something from the advertising screen behind the counter, and three times was told they weren't available!!!! 😭

Had a nice quiet chi latte it was lovely the staff friendly and one lady she swept and mopped all the time.

Worst place ever. Was told they were closing soon so had to have paper cups then kicked out soon after before we were finished.& they were vacuuming round our feet. Very in professional.very rood staff

Becareful u sometimès get a ticket make sure you keep eye on the time.

What a shi... service with 2 dirty people serving at the front. I can mention day and time so the manager knows who I am taking Wednesday 9.15. I was a regular customer of costa no anymore. Starbucks is my next stop.

Was totally disgusted having just been served coffee & sat down to drink it to be told to leave the premises cause they’re going home. We’re we’re less than half way into our drinks. We’re vacuuming when we arrived, this was 15 mins before closing time.

My favourite Costa outlet. Always make a perfect skinny chai latte. Lovely and clean, with super friendly staff. Italian fresco on walls and furniture and other decor is lovely and relaxing. Free, ample parking is also a plus. Update: interior is now ghastly. Italian fresco is gone and hideous hanging teacups are installed. Feels less cosy and more doctor's waiting room. What a shame

The service her was very slow 7 people in front of me. 1 person only making drinks and my hot chocolate tasted watery/ milk and not of hot chocolate 😭

The large cappuccino was only half full. All drinks were luke warm verging on cold and had to be warmed up in microwave.

You know what you're getting In my case a medium cappuccino that was so big it should have come with a diving board

Visited Costa in the Next store at Brotherhoods retail park. Courtney was the only staff member on duty, poor girl. She greeted people by name, worked fast and efficiently and is a credit to Costa. Its obvious that the regulars love her just a pity the company can't support her with more staff.

The tall girl taking the orders was extremely rude and abrupt. The guy making the hot drinks killed my coffee. Service appalling.

Was served by Anne and she was horrible, I simply asked if she had pumpkin spiced flavouring (as I'm pregnant and seriously craving it ) she rudely responded with this isn't a Starbucks. I was not in anyway implying that this was in fact a Starbucks. Bewitched, Greggs and Nero infact have pumpkin spice as an option therefor don't understand why I received such a rude remark about a simple menu question. She then proceeded to talk about me to her male college about the fact I wanted my cream separate, I do this for alligan reasons. Will not be returning absolutely disgusted to be spoken and treat like this as a 35 week pregnant woman.

Have to say I usually don't visit a Costa for my coffee fix but myself and my friend stopped in today to try and we were very pleasantly surprised with our visit 😊 Very much enjoyed our cappuccino, tea and the bean & cheese toastie. Very decent offer of products available and the shop floor was being kept clean and tidy. Lovely customer service from behind the counter, Elissa and her colleague were very chatty and friendly.

3 times in a row I've ordered a salted caramel frappe WITH coffee and 3 times it's been delivered without coffee. So frustrating, it says it on the ticket!

Queued for 15 minutes to get a coffee. Maybe the people who ‘run’ this place should have more staff? Just a suggestion. Also, the coffee was terrible. Well done everyone.

One of the drinks wasn’t packed properly so a third of it had leaked by the time it arrived. Neither drinks were labelled so it was tricky to work out whose was whose.

Not a nice place to have coffee anymore. Staff quite rude, look miserable and behave as if the customers are a nuisance. Also despite 3 hours until closing they brush the floor and constantly pull chairs across the floor so the whole experience is just noise and misery so not really worth going

On the 23rd February in the afternoon, I was horrified about the customer experience my parents experienced. They always order two skinny cappuccinos and the customer knows what they order. A barrista made two lattes and rather than apologising argued three times with my Dad saying "No, you said two lattes." My parents do not like the taste of lattes and even offered despite being treated disrespectfully to pay extra so that they can enjoy drinks that they actually like. After having been argued against three times, a barrista finally threw away the two lattes, made the cappuccinos, my Dad thanked her and she said nothing and slammed them onto the tray. Disgusting behaviour!! Telling the customer that they are wrong is like giving a someone a dress when they have ordered trousers. There were no apologies and the atmosphere was horrendous.

My review is not specific to this Cafe but to Costa's wherever they may be. The Memsahib and I went to do a shop and popped into Costa Coffee for lunch. We chose their Cheese and Roast Tomato Toastie and the Smoky Ham and Cheese Toastie. Both were pre packaged items that were just heated by the staff at the particular Cafe location.. Both sandwiches tasted of nothing. The roast tomato was a paste smeared on and the smoky ham seemed to be some kind of processed sausage whose colour was not inviting. There was no taste to cheese. In fact the texture of the "cheese" was reminiscent of the processed cheese which was issued in ration packs when I was serving in the Army. Then we called it "cheese possessed". All this was very surprising as we had eaten these pre packed toasties at Costa before and they were very acceptable. Perhaps the supplier has changed... Mores the pity..

We called in for a coffee and muffin while shopping. It was very busy but we were served quickly. Coffee and muffin ok but sitting in a very noisy atmosphere.

The arrival time kept changing. The food was correct but the drink came with no light diary swirl as requested on original order! Also was very very icey too. Just disappointed as it’s not usually the same as you’d get inside Costa.

Wow what a place nice clean and tidy friendly staff loverly lay out, but we had to laugh we were sat in the window corner looking out the light was fading outside and the lights were on inside, with them shinning on the window me and my daughter thought we were in a night club getting drunk so we had to change seats and look inside instead lol xxx

Probably the best Costa in Peterborough! The staff demonstrate excellent customer service skills, can deal with big queues efficently, all the tables are clean and attended too, the decor is bright and excellent location

Coffee cup was damaged and leaked out of the bottom

Surprisingly bad experience in Costa! Wanted to enjoy my early morning coffee, ordered vanilla soya late, but that was just discussing, not sure why, maybe it's because they use vanilla syrup with aspartame, or other unpleasant sweetener. Also the door was wide open and the inside was very cold and uncosy. Won't be coming here again

Good service, clean, nice atmosphere

The specific location here is nice, pretty cosy, nice personnel, ammable. 5 stars rating for it! Generally speaking, Costa is the synonym of good coffee for me.. - But not in UK unfortunately. It's like their coffee tastes a bit like chemicals - unfortunately. (Starbucks are in the same boat too) So, this is why I'm only giving it a 4 stars rating overall. It's strange that, "at home", they're not producing their best tasting product. - So, the best of Costa coffee I had, was in Bulgaria, Sofia. And I assume that this was the case, because of the milk they were using - greek Olympus. Other than that, I'm still visiting Costa's locations everywhere I'm traveling, hoping to rediscover the taste that made me fall in love with their "flat white"! :)
