Costa Coffee in Camden

What a cappuccino! As an italian i can tell they serve a proper one there. Friendly staff, very clean dining area. I would definitely reccommend this coffee shop

Horrible experience I ordered bubble tea on uber eats however when the drinks arrived there was no bubbles on either one of the drinks, even though on the description and images there were meant to be bubbles. The drinks seem so rushed i will never order from here again.

I will never use this place again, I order from them using uber eat, when I received my order it was not as described, I contacted them and received no response. Never again, avoid using this lying cheating crooks.

I think here is nice to have a cup of coffee, but WiFi here is extremely slow. Not for me.

31/07/23 16:47 The rudest staff I have every come across. I asked the Indian guy for a bottle of still water, he insisted it was in the fridge when I told him it’s the sparkling water. He kept giving it to me even though I asked for still. He rudely stormed off to the stock room and got the still water. Instead of giving it to me and charging me , he went to the fridge very slowly and started restocking it with water. I asked him to charge me three times, he just ignored me. How can someone like him be working at this type of shop.

Unfortunately this Costa Coffee gets the basics wrong. The lack of milk alternatives (only soy milk available) for starters. No filtered coffee. Out of order bathroom and run down furniture. Hard working staff with limited communication and language skills. The only thing going for this location is the ample basement seating, the power plugs and the outdoor seating.

This Costa has varied over several years depending on the quality of the staff, which I think sometimes suffer from high turnover and I don't blame them - some have been friendly and helpful but clearly have no idea what they're doing. If you are lucky and catch a good phase, it's a convenient place for a coffee and downstairs can be a good place for some work if there aren't too many kids there (usually there aren't).

Like most Costas in country, decent coffee but think the food is really expensive, didn't buy food for that reason and could have got 25% off on Friday as well. Young lady making coffee was very friendly, told me to sit down and she would bring it to our table which she did not long after

the coffee is fine, the service polite however, the disturbing thing in there is that you get dive bombed by air-borne bugs, and if you look closely then you will see squadrons of mosquitos parked on the main wall of the shop! I did point it out to a member of staff a while ago... well that can't equate to good atmosphere. it is perhaps best to take coffee outside in the external facilities....

Very disappointing. Despite having a sign on the front door saying open at 6:30 staff refused to open until 7am.

Staff today are really friendly which was great - still don’t like it’s lack of light inside though - bit depressing in the winter but outside seats in summer good . Overall Nero up the street is a nicer environment though

I decided to treat myself for a coffe this morning and paid £4.15 just for it to be cold and tastless never again plus I returned it twice third time I was just running late

I normally avoid sitting in Costa and prefer to take away. They actually have good coffee and food but branches are always dirty and packed which puts me off. Close to passing out in the heat and in need of a coffee and air conditioning as I had to do some work, I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. Staff were pleasant, service was good as was the iced americano and surprisingly, it was clean! I sat for a few hours doing some work. Like the fact they do iced drinks in different sizes as most places do just one and sometimes, the large sizes are too much to drink and then you waste. The small size was perfect for me.

Bacon roll ok but staff do not know How to make cappuccino. It"s just like a flat white with chocolate sprinkled on top.

Was unable to order coffees yesterday at 5pm because the one girl working was serving a homeless guy with free water and taking forever to do so plus chit chat with the other girl who was organizing cups rather than take the next customer -myself who has been sitting for a while by the cahier. I left the place without ordering and won't be going back...other places I go to people have urgency to serve you and be polite...not like these teenage girls which seem to be lacking basic work ethic.

Staff extremely impolite. I was trying to collect points through the app, but I accidentally scanned it too early. I have apologied immediately, but she kept complaining and shaking her head. In the end, she didn't help me to get the point through the system, but I didn't have the will to argue. Will just avoid going forward.

This is the worst Costa. All staff are unfriendly. I’ve been there a few times but I’m so uncomfortable every single time. I won’t go there again.

Worst mocha ever. There's better across the road. Probably not 1 star due to the fact that you can actually sit down and be comfortable, but the ladies at the front need to be friendlier and pay more attention.

Staff lacking. Watched a barista make coffee after changing the bin, without washing her hands!

The staff member who tried to give my partner £4.00 (ish) in 2p coins as change didn't do the image too much good. My partner, who doesn't take such things too easily, was remarkably restrained, and was told when she commented on the little piles of coins the other side of the serving area being prepared for delivery: 'you do want your coffee, don't you'? We all have bad days, the shop was quite busy, but offloading the loose change on a customer because taking it to a bank is too much hardship isn't beneficial....

5th of October. One of the staff Chinese girl or whoever she was (chubby one ) was very rude and miserable. It's not the only one place in London where people can get a coffee 🤦‍♀️.

Same great coffee as other Costa coffee shops. Friendly service. Like the downstairs indoors seated area which is cosy. There is also a small outdoor seating area for smokers/good weather days. Use this coffee shop when in the area.

The menu is on the back wall and you can't read it, you ask if they can help they look at you like your mad , you ask if they sell fruit teas and they don't not happy

Comparado con otro café, pues no es el mejor del mundo la verdad. Pero es la típica cafeteria en Londres que no está mal y que está por todos lados. Tene variedad de pastelitos o bollería. Y en invierno los chocolates calientes de sabores o/y con nata son una delicia la verdad. Además tienen una tarjeta de puntos que vas sumando y luego puedes canjear.

Tbh i appreciate when people speak back, girl had problems.... a miserable face, miserable attitude but she weren't bringing me down with her. I was having a brilliant day. But the coffee was nice, and toilet clean and accessible.

We went in Saturday for a late lunch, lots of seats upstairs and down which was a nice surprise as sometimes it can be hard to find somewhere to sit. I ordered a tea and a bacon roll which the barista toasted for me. I can't eat butter because of the fat and was happy to see their rolls are not buttered so was perfect for me. Staff were nice, place was clean and tidy. A nice visit overall to take the weight off my feet.

I got a free cup of coffee from them through Three Mobile - Wuntu and all I had to do was scan the screen of my phone with the QR code on it, very easy to use. Although this place looks very small from the outside, it is very spacious downstairs and has comfortable seating for groups.

I was a disgruntled customer here. I hv 2day returned after many months. The place looks better cared for and the toilet is open only to customers. Good! But the mannerism of eastern European employees is a major put off here as everywhere. I feel I m entering the Stasi h/quarters. More smiles , "please" and "thank you" from are needed!! One of the better Costas; for some reason the staff nearly always seem well-trained, able to give you the drink option you ordered. Conveniently located for Finchley Road shopping. Watch out for their sandwiches though; some variants are deliberatelty edge-loaded to make them look substantial, while inside there's very little filling. This is fraudulent, basically.
