Very polite service and a calming atmosphere for time of day Sunday 2pm

Just ordered a slice of cake from costa banstead and the barista cut me the thinnest slither of a slice! So tight and easiest waybto lose customers. £4.05!!!

Staff not very friendly,asked for hot water,said no we don't do that ,where other Costas do it ,not very clean and most of the time coffee is cold.

Was very pleasant and not a lot of people inside

Always good coffee at Costa Atmosphere was a bit bland - aircon was blowing on us so we moved. It was fine. Service was ok - nothing outstanding, yet nothing wrong.

The drinks were actually hot. A majority of coffee shops seem to be worried about serving any drink that is more than warm . So a big plus from Costa.

Order wrong, other customers returning drinks. Customers having to ask for things that should be offered. ie Milk with tea. Tables not cleared. Service slow.

The staff is great, coffee is always consistent. A little pricey but it's worth it.

I love the coffee here, it's always good and the staff is super friendly.

As usual was greeted with lovely smiles by Amy and Ava today. Excellent service. Both girls are so pleasant. That's what customer service should be like at all times.

The services is terrible I came in for a coffee this morning and then 4 customers come in after me so she stopped doing my coffee told me to wait and then done the other 4 customers before me I felt very uncomfortable and not respected as a customer in the shop.

We ordered a caramel frappe and iced latte and our drinks were thrown together, not asked for size of drink and no offer for whipped cream on frappe. Better places to go on highstreet. The frappe was basically bubbly milk and ice.

Self service, not welcoming and coffee was cold

Perfect place to come for a coffee and to meet up with friends staff are friendly helpful and engaging

Hope Costa are now going to take heed of Government trying to get smokefree UK!! Costa stlll have/allow smokers take over outside areas... puffing away... so no way can any non smokers sit outside !!!

We work at local nursery and sadly due to the snow we were with out power and heat , we went to costa to order hot drinks for the staff to help keep them warm until the heating came back on. We ordered £80 worth of food and drink and the staff were amazing and handled the order with ease we waited roughly 20 minutes for our order to be completed and they still had smiles on their faces. I can not begin to thank the girls enough for helping to make our day we appologise for the sudden large order but honestly couldnt fault the service at all , we will be going back again hopefully for a smaller order next time .

I found all the staff in this branch very friendly and polite and Elton is superb when it comes to customer service

Today, I had a nice stop-off at Costa Coffee before an appointment. With the sunshine pouring through the front window and onto my comfortable seat, I treated myself to a bacon bap, carrot cake, and a large latte. I made use of their free WiFi to watch a moving speech by President Zelensky to the UK Parliament. This was not planned, but I will remember it fondly and will happily visit again, hopefully on a sunny day.

Following a walk up Banstead High Street we decided on a couple of coffees, a Latte and cappuccino picked up at the counter and drunk at a table. Good atmosphere, nice staff, may try the food next time we visit

We just had a coffee, and sat on one of the tables outside. It was a glorious day.

Ordered a coffee frappe and a salted caramel frappe with no coffee for delivery but got a cups of frothy milk no coffee at all then a coffee salted caramel frappe. Totally wrong order.

Good coffee. Shame that they got order wrong initally, didn't listen to request to "drink in", forgot extra hot when passing order to barista and forgot the requested order for water. The decaf ordered was probably served as caf. Not much else to get wrong. Coffee was good though which is the main point of going to Costa and 3 star review.

I am stupid for returning here, but this branch is just god awful. Avoid. Some nicer coffee! / tea places further along. Cutlery dirty. No service with a smile and simply a cold unwelcoming feeling.

Coffee great but shop very faded. Cobwebs high up on windows, broken counter front by sandwich shelves, sticky tables. Went 28th Feb-at 3 pm they bought in the tables, put down the blind, sorted out the sandwiches and pulled a blind down over them They said that they were closing early -should be 4pm- and the activities were very disturbing to customers in the shop. I have used this shop a lot ever since it first opened: it has gone downhill and compares badly with other Costas. It needs a good refresh.

Terrible customer service. Tried closing area hour before closing leaving only 1 dirty table left. Rude staff and said they didn’t care about our custom. Kept messing our order up

Terrible customer service! Walked in the open door at 7.57 to be told we do not open until 8.00am. After waiting the 3 minutes outside I was then told because they have just opened they cannot take my £20.00 note to pay for a £10.50 order as they have no change. Come on COSTA a multinational company like yours can surely train your staff correctly and have some change in the till for cash paying customers.

Rubbish!! Never open on time ,staff inside shop every morning chatting away whilst we stand outside waiting till at least 710 each morning,had enough of Costa going Nero's at least they open on time

Went in here today paid 4.35 for half a cup of coffee

Just love visiting Banstead Costa. Not only do they make the best coffee but I just love the staff here too. Imi and Tariq are always happy, friendly and chatty which makes my day! Keep up the good work guys; it’s very much appreciated in these lockdown days.

I think everyone knows how frustrating and aggravating it is when Uber Eats miss out parts of your order. I called up Costa today and work down the highstreet. Callum went above and beyond to deliver my missing order and there was absolutely no hassle. He was so polite and very helpful. Great customer service and really appreciate the customer service.

Not many tables available if you want to eat in. There was two tables inside being used so I had to "eat in" outside in the rain.

Coffees were okay but no 50% discount. Staff really couldn't be bothered to be polite or cheerful! This is a Costa to avoid! Shame as the coffees are the best !!

Terrible weak, overpriced, watery coffee. Costa shops are popping up everywhere but they are slowly declining in quality and service. Won't ever be going back.

Corporate mongoloids. Since the Coca Cola takeover they have absolutely paled through the floor. Not as close as Nero sadly. Nero will always be the better and more indigenous spot for a coffee and a (freshly baked) pastry!

You can't go far wrong with costa coffee. Strong good flavoured coffee everytime. Always lots of seats. Open til six pm most days. Friendly staff.

Cant beat a good costa with cool staff

Serves a half decent coffee but always think the cake/cookies in these places are overpriced for what they are. And aren't policemen looking younger. Just a tad slow in clearing up tables.

Staff it’s nice ,but coffee is rubish. Please someone training them how to make a proper Costa coffee. New Malden Costa makes the perfect coffee. That’s the taste each Costa should provide to customers. Very disappointed about Costa coffee in Banstead
