Very hit and miss. Sometimes the coffee tastes okay and sometimes it’s bad - never experienced this at any other Costa. Doesn’t open early enough or stay open long enough. Waiting room attached to the cafe is miserable - cold and uninviting. Sadly the other cafe on platform 2 is even worse. I prefer to buy at Kings Cross where I know the coffee is good. Staff aren’t motivated, must be something wrong with the management

Advertised as 'open' but arrived at 1pm to the shutters half way down and the team member eating lunch on a stool nearby who said they are closed for lunch. Feel like I've gone back in time! Very poor management.

My main point would be that the coffee is always horrific, no matter who it is. Always slow, some of the staff are not customer friendly at all. Some don't wear uniform. I visit Newark all the time and try to limit my visits to this Costa. A real downer on the brand.

Really disappointing service at Newark Station. Staff were chatting, paid no attention to me when I entered the store, despite there being only one other customer in the building. One staff member was preparing an order, the other was casually stocking up with no interest in acknowledging there was a customer waiting. After a few minutes of waiting I gave up and went to get on my train. I’ve only just starting using the station (daily) so really disappointed that there isn’t a decent coffee shop with engaged staff. Pity LNER gave the contract to a faceless corporation.

the guy working 2pm on august 31st made a mean caramel crunch frostino and I just wanna give a quick shoutout - perfect coffee/caramel/cream ratio. definitely top 5 frostinos of all time.

It's almost like they don't want money I was told I could not order at the counter even though I only had cash. So essentially I was told that my money is not worth it because it's cash not card Albury cars the team could not be assed take my order great stuff great management if that's what you promote. You have self checkout machines which do not take cash your place is a joke I've worked there and he's probably one of the most unclean places I was kind of curious of how the place had developed since I have left it does not look like it's got better inner longest it looks like they've hired more brain dead stuff who do not understand how atill works by the looks a bit they barely can comprehend wiping their own backside kinda ridiculous when you consider your overpaying for this food going to Newark there is much better takeaways than this place do not waste your money here Yes I worked here a few years ago yes your chances of food poisoning a very high yes the standards of cleaning are very low I mean it looks better than it used to be but it was convenient now I'm walking two miles because they refuse to sell me food for cash

Had a takeaway tonight, not used before, and encountered a long hair in salad, all got thrown in bin, wont be using again

Terrible is an understatement, staff terrible attitude it was like customers were an inconvenience to them, didn't have half of what was on the menu, not even salt when I collected the food!! Food we got was horrible, half it went in the bin. Save your money and avoid this place

Great delivery but forgot an item & some of food was not great, prawn toast had very little filling & not much taste, crackers were just nasty & spring rolls overcooked, would give 6/10 but thats mainly the quick & friendly delivery.
